I started a checking account there and tried to order checks.It took about 6 weeks to get them as they were not ordered by the management there properly. The order went in the first part of March ...did not get checks till 4/8/15....unacceptable. The N.Chelmsford branch blamed the post office in that I had wanted the checks delivered to my PO Box. The branch told me that they had issues with PO boxes and that if the checks did not fit in the box I would not get the checks. Give me a break! From other banks such as Citizens,I have ALWAYS HAD MY CHECKS DELIVERED TO MY BOX WITH NO PROBLEMS. Enterprise/N. Chelmsford did not properly order the checks. I checked with the post office and they said they never received any checks from the bank. Interestingly when I ordered checks from Enterprise from the Billerica branch,they arrived at my PO Box ...no problem. So it depends which branch you go to.That has been my experience. I finally got my checks at N.Chelmsford and the branch manager was very unfriendly and rude to me,because I doubted the story about problems with PO Boxes.Despite her rude demeanor I would argue that the management at this branch, it would seem is either unable or unwilling to tell the truth. Kobe (the Head Teller) and another teller who I'm assuming was in training since Kobe was walking him through what I needed. Totally fine by me, I'm always pro professional development. Overall, service was quick and efficient which I appreciate. Things only got a little chaotic near the end when another customer became unhappy with her teller and started getting loud. At that point it was hard to hear my tellers when they were speaking to me, which was a bit distracting and annoying because communication can still occur with a decent tone of voice.

They have an advanced automated ATM which accepts all types of deposits. You can have any deposited checks printed on the receipt as well. I'm happy to have this bank local and would highly recommend it to anyone for just about any financial reason. The ONLY downfall is the extremely tight drive-thru tellers and rear ATM. Larger vehicles should use the front ATM. The parking lot is huge. The grounds are well kept.

I went back to my parents place and had my mom call the bank [their suggestion] with her credentials so that they could provide the account number for her IRA. They talked to my mom on the phone and got her credentials and then told her that she would have to come in person to get a print out of her account number. They would not release the account number over the phone. Are you kidding me? They were well aware of how immobile she is and still would NOT accommodate. I have been working in customer service for years, and this is NOT how you treat people. Especially working at a bank, you need people who are personable and understanding, as there are many members with different issues they need help with. Also, the 1-800 phone customer service is awful. I wish it was easier to get through to someone without having to press a million buttons. Sadly, I will be switching credit unions. It was only after my Dad passed away that I ran into significant problems.... mainly with Michelle Clement. My Dad had a business in Westford for 60ish years and had been doing business with Enterprise for many years. When I began helping in the office, I came in contact with several employees from Enterprise and always had good experiences. I worked with managers at different times, beginning with Sarah and then Wendy -- both were great and treated Dad and I with great respect. Everything went down hill quickly after my Dad passed away in 2021. It began with his business acct. All the checks that were written on the Monday before he passed away on Thursday were returned because the account was blocked. When I called to explain that I had no idea he was going to die on Thursday and I did not think these checks should have been returned with fees, I was basically told by Michelle Clement, that this was policy. I accepted that and paid the fees for all the bills that had been paid through this acct. Later in that same month, I went to the bank to close this account. I believed I had all the paperwork needed, but I was made to feel like a criminal, or that I was doing something wrong. I was told I could not close the account. I do realize it was a complicated matter, but I had been the person doing all the business here for my Dad for many years at this point and I was now his Personal Representative according to the probate. So, up until recently, this account had been sitting with no activity, but not considered in-active and had been charged a $50 fee per month for almost a year and 3 mnths. Recently, I was telling my brother-in-law about this and he decided to stop in to the Enterprise Bank in Nashua near his work location. He explained the situation to them. That same day he told me to call and speak to them. Within 2 hours the situation was resolved. I went to the Nashua NH Branch with my ID and they issued me a check made out to my Dad's estate. I was told that all the paperwork needed for this to happen was already on file -- 2 death certificates and the probate info., and also the fact that I had been an officer on the business (filed with the state of MA) was all that was required by the Risk Manager of the bank. Again, within 2 hours this was all resolved and they also reimbursed the account for $50/month fee. Just to clarify -- Michelle Clement at the Westford MA branch had all this information in 2021 and claimed it wasn't sufficient????? I will say, my faith in Enterprise Bank has been renewed, but I will never do business in Westford again.
