We have stayed at Sunrise several times with 2 different campers, a 30' Jayflight and, most…read morerecently, our Reflections 5th wheel. On all occasions we have enjoyed our stay. The pads are level and feature a concrete patio and parking for the truck with lots of trees and grass surrounding most sites. The hook ups have 30 and 50 amp service, cable and 2 water spigots, 1 city and 1 well. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. They are continually performing maintenance and their efforts keep the park clean and appealing. The only minor issue we've encountered is the proximity to the main highway and the traffic noise however, with our a/c running it wasn't too bad.

There are potholes that fill up with water that should be fixed immediately. The first speed bump if you go over slightly more than 5 mph. Your car will bottom out. They do have new ownership, so perhaps given time they will fix that situation. You will notice immediately how small the spaces are and how close together they are. I could constantly hear my neighbors particularly when they were drinking. The dog park needs to be sodded. They do have a lot to do. They have a nice pool overlooking the bay. The location is incredible as are the sunsets. Apparently, a lot of of people like this RV park so I am quite confident that I am in the minority. I do like the manager and she will do the best that she can for you and will give you 100%

They had skeleton pumpkin carving, skeleton tug of war, skeleton wound center, skeleton BBQ and skeleton golf cart wash. Lots of work but enjoyed seeing a different scene everyday. We paid for the spot knowing there would be electric billed after the stay. When we got ready to leave we spoke to the park host who said they would email us a bill. We left. They proceeded to charge our card another $570 and a 4% fee for eletric and spot fees. We paid for the spot upfront. When asked for an itemized statement " we don't do that ". If you want surprise fees and nightly fights and cops this is the place for you !!

Water view from our D3 spot. Walked the park trail too. Not much to see as the area has been dry for some time but again quiet and no one else on the trail. Price was reasonable; paid in advance for the Easter weekend. As the dates got closer, something weird happened and my credit card was hit twice for more than our weekend fee, but Michelle got it reversed pretty quickly. They have a pickle ball court that we heard someone using at one point. Drive to reach Rockport was minimal. Was raining when we packed up and noticed some weird little white worms trying to take up residence in our equipment but managed to remove most of them so we wouldn't take them home with us.

Great place in the Texas costal area. Many spots have lots of room. Love all the trees!!!read more

I stayed in the very cozy weekend rental, the community has a very nice pavilion and kitchen area to prepare meals as well as an outdoor eating or gathering area with a big TV to watch! The bathroom/shower rooms are very spacious and comfy with an AC so you don't sweat your clean away!! I will definitely be going back and recommend you give Mac's Landing a visit!
