All of them were relatively large and the base was just a tad doughy, but nothing too extreme. Peanut Butter & Jelly - This was my favorite one. The peanut butter frosting combined with the strawberry filling made for a tremendous donut. Kit Kat - This was okay. The combination of the Kit Kat pieces with the strawberry frosting did not make the greatest grouping. Banana Chocolate Chip - This was great. I never had a banana flavored donut to my knowledge, but the banana frosting went well with the chocolate chips. Bananas Foster - This tasted similar to the donut above with a glaze atop of it identical to what a traditional banana foster tastes like. Lemon Blueberry Pie - The lemon frosting combined with the blueberry atop of it was enjoyable. The blueberry jam appeared to be fresh. I'm picky about donuts having the best donuts from my Indiana hometown, but I have to say, and I came in right before closing, these are the best donuts in Pinellas County. Our choice was limited since we appeared fifteen minutes before closing, but the chocolate cake donuts were yum. The icing is so delicious and different from other donut icing. Tasty. I easily counted over twenty kinds of sugary discs my visit. I opted for a six pack and they all were delicious! I also got a bagel for the girlfriend and I had a bagel sandwich with eggs, bacon and cheese this trip. The sandwich was just okay, nothing special and her bagel was lacking a bit too. It almost tasted like the bagels just didn't have enough chew to them. Too soft for my taste. That's the only reason I docked a star. But surely if you stick to the donuts, you can't go wrong. I am not a big donut person but I would never pass up a Jupiter Donut! These donuts are delicious and the menu changes daily. My favorite is the cronut, a mix between a croissant and a donut. *insert Homer Simpson saying "donut" here* They do sell out quick so it is first come first serve. I always call ahead and place my order for pick up and pay over the phone. It's much faster and I'm guaranteed the donuts I want. They also have coffee which I have heard it very good but I'm not a coffee drinker. Everyone who works here are very nice and pleasant. Support local businesses!), and I have never had a chance to try Rockstar Donuts yet because I'm always usually here open to close and I just have not had the chance, but one of my customers brought in an amazing maple bacon donut to me this morning and not only did it make my day but it's freaking amazing!!! Went to the store at 1247 and the attendant said that the store was closed, to which I had mentioned that I thought the store closed at 1pm. Attendant's response was that they were sold out of doughnuts. However, it was clear that there were still doughnuts for sale, to which I pointed that out. She then began to gravitate towards her cashier station in a negative demeanor, to which I decided to just leave the establishment. Unfortunately a negative experience based on the customer-employee interaction. More than likely will not be entertaining this again. If you'd like to close, please ensure that you outline your specific hours of closing, or lock the storefront door, or have a clear justification for closing rather than telling me doughnuts are sold out when there were 1.5 trays-worth of product still available. Before immediately shutting down a customer, it would have been nice to ask exactly what I was asking for. I was merely traveling on my last day of vacation in the area and wanted to try a single doughnut, so the order would not have been complexed. The donuts are large, which is great for bang per buck but the sweetness needs to be as big as the surface area it's covering or the donuts need to be smaller. We LOVED the cinnamon roll, it was PERFECT!Everything else was more filling than it was delicious. Like you can taste the quality of the dough, it's definitely fresh,made with love and festively decorated. But maybe a bit too much dough not enough sugar (for me).
