3rd visit as of today. When I arrived to drop up off my year old pup she was not happy because he had some matted hair! I am not a groomer so that is why I pay for my baby to get groomed today was the worst he's looked ever! after being "groomed "She charged me 10 extra and did not take extra care to make sure his face was cleaned up and cut nicely! Perhaps because I asked her to be extra cautious because the last time they groomed him there was a small but concerning/nic on his private area that was red. I asked why the extra charge all you do is use clippers to remove the matting she said it's because she needs to buy blades more frequently okay! However doing a lousy job is uncalled for she left the hair on his face chopped up and crooked so if you decide to take your pet here make sure they are already groomed prior to taking them here for a grooming!!!! Never going back to pay for this type of very unprofessional service!! I even gave her a 10$ tip !! that was prior to noticing how bad the grooming was today!!! it doesn't even rate 1 star read more

This place has new ownership from years ago. They butchered my dog to the tune of $50 dollars. He is a small brachycephalic dog. They need their whiskers to help them see: you cut them clear off. You went so close in his armpits: they bled for 24hrs. You nicked his cheek and did an awful job with the cut: size varies it looks like a child cut his fur with sharp clippers. Sadly, you went so close to his private part that we have to put ointment on so he can use the bathroom. I called you and text you about this. You said you wouldn't charge my card for the butchering of my dog--- YOU DID. I get that you offered me a "free" cut and wash "next time" as well--- but you must be out of your mind if you think I would subject my dog to this torture again. I cannot believe you still proceeded to charge my card when you said you wouldn't. We use to bring all the dogs, and for years. We came before under this new management and have had issues every time but usually you can fix them. However this takes the cake. If I could give negative stars I would. My poor dog. I can't say enough. Good things about Rockstar grooming. I have a little 4 pound Maltese. Who has been shaken up by most groomers. However when I started bringing my dog there he fell in love with the people there. The first time I took him there he shook as he did when I take him to any other groomer however, now he loves going there and he loves the way he's treated. These people are kind and patient. This place rocks! The owner was really sweet and professional. You can tell she has a passion for dog grooming. My Irish setter can be a little neurotic about the whole grooming experience so I am always a little nervous about leaving her someplace new. I felt a great energy from the place right away and Lily seemed very comfortable. They don't lock up the dogs so she was able to hang out comfortably till it was her turn. When I came to pick her up she greeted me at the door. She looked so happy I was instantly relieved. Secondly she looked so beautiful! She has lots of hair and had quite a bit of matting they took care of it and it was very affordable for the work that went into it! I will definitely be bringing her back! I had an appointment to have my dog groomed for Saturday at 12:00. Was told it would take an hour or two. Went back at 2:00 and he was still not ready and was told it would be another 30 minutes or so because they had just got him out of the bath. I Questioned why it was taking so long when he had an appt and I was told because there were a lot of dogs before him?? He was finally ready at 2:30. 2 1/2 hours with a set appt??I specifically requested a trim and was surprised to see he had a very very short cut. Not what I requested. When I mentioned it to the owner she had an attitude and said she had to cut his hair short because he was matted. I brushed him well before dropping him off and know he was not matted She showed me hair that was matted and I was not convinced it was his. Her answer was she would not charged me for removing the matted hair. I will not be taking him back there again! read more

I hate this place under the new ownership. They kennel the dogs in small cages, take several at a time, and I paid an outrageous amount for what was some light trimming and a bath. They didn't even get out all of the small mats that I pointed out to them. I miss Michelle and her caring, professional nature. It's no longer the gentle, anxiety-free, comfortable shop it once was. They're the only ones who can handle my very cantankerous chihuahua. He's never in the best of moods so you can imagine how hellish he is getting his nails trimmed. We've actually had people refuse to do it. Plus, he's a lazy little fatty so his nails never grind down from him running and get long fast. Michelle and her hubby Csaba are one of the friendliest, kindest people with lots of "doggy knowledge". I took all my 4 babies to them, a Doberman, a Labrador, a Chihuahua and a Poodle. The little ones didn't have any problem staying there however, my two bigger kids freaked out, they both have separation anxiety. Yes, yes my fearless dobi was shivering like a leaf. But not for long. Michelle and Csaba started talking to them, playing with them and within minutes my babies felt much more comfortable and relaxed. Oh did I mention that this was their very first time at a groomer? I left my doggies there and when they were done Michelle texted me a picture about them letting me know they were fine and the picture showed they were taking a nap. When I went to pick them up my dogs were so beautiful and clean, they looked like they were spayed with an expensive oil. No they weren't, they just got that sparkling clean look from all the wonderful, natural shampoos and conditioners Michelle is using in her grooming saloon. She even got my doberman's nails done, which, I thought was absolutely impossible. I have no idea how but she did it. Michelle darling you must be a magician, a fairy or an angel. This was the first time we've been here so with some trepidation we left our toy poodle, Charlie, in the groomer's arms. When we returned he was happy and he looked fabulous! In fact, this is the best haircut he's ever had. We like the "Teddy Bear" cut on him and she made his little face look adorable. I was very disappointed with the new owners. They did not finish my pets hair cut and she had a cut under her next, and was not brushed out. She is a very small dog weighs about 4 lbs. ad the worst experience the other day after my puppy got groomed. I called Saturday morning hoping to get my Shitzhu in for a grooming. Thankfully they had a cancellation and were able to take him at 1:30!! All went well and got him back around 4: 45pm. When we got home, we noticed he was shaking his head a lot and scratching his ear (He had not done this previously). I called the next morning (Sunday) to see if they had noticed anything. They were closed, Sunday and Monday. I left a message and received a call back from a man on Tuesday. He told me that they had noticed that my puppy had ear infections. My exact words were "oh, ok. So are you not obligated to let me know when there is an issue with my dog"? He immediately go defensive asking why I was getting 'loud' with him and asking why I was getting 'sideways' with him. Telling me that he's not my man and going on and on. Mind you, I was using a normal tone the entire time. I did at one point as him if he was drunk. When I asked if he was the owner, he asked if I was threatening him. I said no and again asked for the owner. That's when Bobbie came on the line and said that she apologized for not telling me about my dog. She said it was overlooked and proceeded to give me remedies for helping my dog out at home. I am giving a single star because of the disrespect of their employees. I have never in my life ever been talked to in this manner and I can assume nothing will be done due to the fact that Bobbie was very nonchalant about the whole ordeal with her employee. read more

I've taken my dogs (all 5 of them) to this place for years to have their nails clipped. $50 every time I go (plus a tip). I called to ask information about draining anal glands, and the owner (male) seemed irritated that he had to explain how anal glands had to be drained. I asked how it would be done, and he went into full explanation on how it all starts. I just wanted to know how they drain them. I asked to speak to the owner, and he replied, "I am the owner". I told him, "he seemed irritated and aggressive while speaking to me". I explained how I've taken my dogs there for years, and he replied, "I'm sorry I can't make you happy, have a nice day".
