I gave the optometrist my glasses and a prescription saying the glasses were perfect and I wasn't sure if the prescription was correct. He chose to fill the prescription. Needless-to say, it was incorrect. He blamed the writer of the prescription saying he was trying to trick me to have anyone else filling the prescription make the wrong glasses so that I would return to him. He then used my glasses to get a new prescription. The glasses he made caused me to see double. He again blamed the old optometrist. He had me come in to see his optometrist for a brand new prescription. I was kept waiting for over 45 minutes, during which time the client scheduled after me already entered. The doctor checked my eyes but "didn't bring his equipment to test for prisms" - the one problem that the glasses he gave me had. But he promised that for the next exam I would be his first patient. The next week I showed up and lo and behold the doctor was with another patient. He told me he didn't realize he promised me the first appointment and said "I guess I need a REAL appointment book". The glasses that were then made were still wrong and made me see double. He refused to refund my money and I am still waiting for a solution. When I originally ordered the glasses I called after over four weeks because I hadn't heard from them. I was told "The glasses are here but I don't know if they came back from the maker or weren't sent out yet. I'll call you tomorrow to let you know. Four days later I called him because I hadn't heard from them and was told - Oh yes, they're ready. I don't know why you weren't called.

I do not like going to Oceanside. I had an awful high school experience and I get an eerie feeling whenever I have to go there. With all that being said, I had an unpleasant experience at Nassau visions today. My girlfriend came with me today to Nassau visions because I do not like driving to places by myself. I had to wear my girlfriend's glasses to drive. I told the three receptionist (I'm not sure why there's three people there) that I had to wear her glasses.
