The dentists and staff are nice but I had to have a root canal and they did not inform me that the dentist I was seeing would not be the one doing the root canal. After prepping the tooth another dentist came in to do the root canal and had me sign a paper which said he is not in network. I felt like I didn't have a choice but to sign the form and have the root canal since the tooth was drilled on or whatever they do to prep the tooth. Another thing is my temporary crowns (I had 3) fell off 2 times and my permanent crown fell off once and I'm actually going to another dentist tomorrow because one of the crowns I got at this office 2 months ago is causing severe pain. I tried to call the office today 5 times and no one answered the phone. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. read more

This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a dental office. Original quotes and commitments that were made by a dentist and coordinator that are 'no longer with the practice' were not honored, new quotes were given after I arrived for my appointment and had become a patient, and when I was promised someone would give me an answer to an issue they were looking into 'within 48 hours', it took 9 days, multiple phone calls/voicemails/emails, and a call into their sister office to even speak with someone. Once I finally spoke with Dr. Cosby, she was unapologetic for the run around and took no accountability for the decisions and commitments made by the previous dentist/coordinator within her practice. Very unprofessional!!! Went here despite my dental care fears. I knew I needed extensive work. I had a gap in my teeth she was suppose to direct me to her professor/ mentor (never happened). Anyway she did a deep cleaning and complained the whole time how her hand was hurting from the work she was doing. I was so hurt that it years before I trusted another dentist. The experience has been a nightmare to say the least! The very first appointment is set for my family they told me they would do our cleanings all at the same time. My husband waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half and was basically ignored the whole time. I decided after that we would not return but then my husbands tooth broke so he went in on June 13th and they had the pull the tooth and they said he needed a bridge. They tried the gas but it didn't work and come to find out the equipment wasn't working properly. They said they credited the charge, not sure if it really happened. Two weeks went by, no follow calls nothing. We began to call the office over and over without response. We finally went to the office to find out that UPS lost the bridge and they would be getting it within the next couple of days. No call, no follow up NOTHING! We had to leave message after message with no call back. The bridge finally showed up and it didn't fit, not even close so they had the start all over again. Guess what its been 3 weeks, same experience as before. No communication at all. I went on live chat on the website because we went to the office during hours that they are supposed to be open to find a sign on the door that they were closed. The live chat told me they would have someone contact me immediately but that didn't happen so I called again today and finally got someone on the phone and I let them know I contacted my insurance company and my attorney so they magically had an opening to get the bridge done. Dr. Nguyen and her staff have surpassed my expectations. Every time I have visited the office, they have been completely welcoming, compassionate and I can clearly see how genuine and honest they are. My husband, 7 year old daughter and I actually look forward to visiting the dentist. Just this week I had to go in for an emergency and was immediately seen by Dr. Nguyen. During every visit, Dr. Nguyen and her staff make me feel important. I never have to wait a long time to be seen and during my exams, I feel like Dr. Nguyen listens and is very thorough and honest when explaining things to me. I highly recommend this dentist office and feel confident she treats every one of her patients like she treats my family and me. read more

If I could give negative points I would! My daughter and I went here in lieu of our regular dentist just for a quick cleaning (regular dentist is in Plano and is phenomenal!). Biggest mistake EVER! We showed up 20 min early so I could fill out paperwork...and they kept us waiting in the lobby an hour PAST our scheduled appointment. Once we were in the pano xray room, the technician didn't know how to work the xray machine and had to get help. She was apologetic and friendly, but geez...we'd already been there 1.5 hours! After our cleaning, the Dr Cosby told me I needed one of my crowns redone because there were gaping issues and bacteria could get in. She said she could get her instrument in there, so the gap was significant. She also told me that my daughter had 11 teeth that had cavities, as in multiple cavities per tooth. She asked if we wanted to drill right then and I said no. That's a bit too fast and shifty for my taste! Needless to say we went to our regular dentist for a follow up. It took multiple calls to get the xrays transferred over. I had to talk to their sister office in Forney to do so. Guess what?? My daughter has ZERO cavities and my crown is fine! My crown doesn't sit flush against the base tooth and never has, but it's filled in so no bacteria can get in. It's an area to watch throughout the years, but I too needed NO work! This office is unprofessional and the dentist is a crook. Total scam artist out for the money! Steer clear!! I see why they like to drill, etc the same day...no one comes back twice! read more

I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for a few years, even though I live 56 miles away. She is caring and compassionate. I broke my tooth while eating a tough pizza crust one day and Dr. Nguyen was able to see me on the same day to fit me for a temporary cap. Her staff are always cheerful and pleasant. Would highly recommend this office, the staff is well trained and Dr. Nguyen goes the extra mile to make sure your dental needs are met. read more
