Carl Martin at McClain RV in Rockwall delivered a level of service that is rare to find today…read more From the very beginning, his care for my RV--and for me as a customer--was exceptional. His attention to detail, consistent follow-up, and willingness to go above and beyond never wavered. Every call was returned. Every question was answered. And every interaction was handled with professionalism and genuine care. What stood out most was his character during a difficult moment. Even when the insurance company made the decision to total my RV, Carl never changed. He continued to treat me with the same respect, urgency, and commitment as he did from day one. That speaks volumes about who he is--not just as a professional, but as a person. If I decide to purchase another RV, there is no question--I will go wherever Carl Martin is. That's the kind of trust he builds. McClain RV is fortunate to have him. And as a customer, I'm grateful I had him in my corner.

Same water heater available on Amazon for just $500!!! Also I made the mistake of going there for repairs last year. I got talked into tires. Two days later I was to leave for a camping trip with my family at Mammoth Cave State Park. My son and grandchildren came from MA. I couldn't stay at the park because one of the new tires had a flat. I called McClains and was told maybe I ran over a nail. When I got back I went to another location to get it repaired. It was a loose valve stem. $52.00! They did the roof. What a mess they made. I had crap running down the side. I don't know how the got so much stuff blown around inside. And the seams are terrible. My new mechanic says I'll be lucky if the seams last a year now the rv is out is storage and especially since I'll be going to Florida. The weather is tough on the coast, wind, sun, thunderstorms! Save your money and Go somewhere else! $1000 for a Hot Water Heater!!!!! That's just wrong!

When we returned from our trip we brought back the rv. Where it sat and sat. Finally he said he could not fix but... he had a friend that can fix. Well we went from seeing the rv everyday sit to across the street where it sat and sat and sat. After about another month we asked what is going on in. Tomas said they were waiting for the parts. Finally we got tired of our rv just sitting there and picked it up. To this day we ask for our money back, buts never gonna happen. I just wish I knew why it's ok for rv places to keep our rv's forever. But car places are typically so much more quicker to make repairs The parts never came and we never got what we paid for. Sorry but we do not suggest this business

We took our current RV in for repacking the bearings and waxing the unit. Jan 14 Completed the work within a couple of days. Unfortunately had to replace all bearings and seals. I asked he save the bearings for my review, and he did. I always want to see the items I'm told needed replacing. Tomas has replaced small things I missed, and knew were an issue. And advised on costs after inspection, getting approval prior to replacing.

After five years as a rental I was expecting signs of normal wear and tear but what I found was much worse. In addition to the normal wear and tear, the subfloor was obviously and completely destroyed. But even worse, the entire skylight unit is missing. This was a gorgeous skylight with an insect screen as well as day and night shades. All gone; and in its place there's a piece of plastic. I'm dumbfounded and heartbroken. We never should have trusted them with such an expensive piece of equipment. Response to Quest's comment: yes, our RV was three years old when we put it into your fleet...and it had *less than 6,000 miles* on it. It was never stored out in the weather by us, and the skylight was clearly fine when our vehicle entered your fleet. Why, while in your care, was the skylight allowed to dry rot and crack from weather exposure to the point that it couldn't be repaired, and/or further damage prevented? And the floor...I'm guessing that wasn't noticed until our warranty ran out? Damage that severe, unnoticed for so long? If it was, indeed, the manufacturer's fault for not putting enough supports under the subfloor, it should have been apparent much sooner. But it takes a lot of time and effort to have warranty repairs made, right? Something you promised you'd take care of. Lastly, Mark did not decline the replacement and opt for the "repair" that was completed. It was never addressed, and he noticed the skylight was gone only when he was halfway home between Dallas and Colorado (his very costly mistake). Our loss, your gain. The point of my review is only to provide our experience so people can decide for themselves whether they want to entrust their very expensive, valuable RV equipment into your care.
