My daughter loved to corn pit and while the rain picked back up, the staff ushered us all under covering and into the corn pit. The food was solid and thankfully not overpriced. The pumpkin patch, games like football toss, basketball free throws, and others were good attractions. We were also able to ride the train and feed the goats and donkeys. The corn maze was in shambles after the storm from the night before and the whole farm was a mud pit, but seeing my daughter have a good time was fully worth it.

This is the second year we've come here in May to pick blueberries and blackberries. One of the…read moreworkers said that blueberry season is really a short 4-6 weeks time frame while blackberries are most of the summer. This year 2025, the blueberries are sweet but on the smaller side. The blackberries were not as good as some of them are tart or even sour as some seem to start fermenting? However in 2023 the blackberries were soooo sweet and juicy that even my husband liked them and he usually doesn't like blackberries. Maybe this year just wasn't good for blackberries. :/ The busket (basket bucket) is $1.50 and berries are usually $8-10 per lb but they ran a Memorial Day weekend promo for $4 a lb. We filled up our busket about 2/3 of the way for 2.7 lbs or $11 in blackberries and blueberries! Cheaper than Costco! Although it is a 45 min drive for us. Giant sunflowers were available too but all the wildflowers were picked already. Things to bring: Busket - if you already have one! Sunscreen - protect your skin! Hat - it's sunny! Water and a refill of water - it's HOT and you easily drink through 2 water bottles, plus if you use any to clean your pickings. neck towel / fan - nice to have I would also consider looking for a parking spot in the shade, usually to the left by the Farm Funland. I also put up our cars sunshade which helps too. This time, my 4 yo said her car seat wasn't that hot (whereas she will usually complain if it is), so i think jt worked! We only spent about 1.5 hours though from 1030-12noon, as it was getting really hot and the kiddo was over it. Overall, fun experience and some good berries but do come prepared for the heat!

What intrigued me was that there were so many activities occurring at once for all ages. The company work event was not just for the adults, but also for kids and elders. Entry fee was $15 for ages 4 and up. $0 for babies 0-3, and $0 for elders 65 and older. The entry fee was reasonable for all of the activities that the festival had to offer but some activities had an additional fee. There was a little train ride, a petting zoo, and numerous vendors selling clothes, jewelry, etc. My team loved the food and drink options, my favorite was Pecos Petes! They sold a massive mug/cup for $25 and allowed refills all day. Pecos Petes had a selection of root beers, teas, and lemonade. The cup was a very cute memento as the back of it had the Dripping Springs pumpkin festival on it. There were swings and a talented bubble artist who kept the kids entertained for hours! The pumpkin festival was filled with numerous photo-ops for families and friends. My favorite was the horseshoe toss along with the lasso toss! Overall, we had a great company party, it was nice to be in such a festive environment. I am glad that parts of the festival had trees and tents to provide shade as it got pretty hot out there. A downside was the parking. On the website, they do stress that the parking is an issue and they even offer coupon codes for ride shares, so at least they are trying to make the public aware.

While our youngest was on the rides and swings, our older boys could play patch pong and football next by. There were so many activities for all ages. They even had this kernel pit where they could all play. My son who is on the spectrum loved it. There is also a throwing ax spot that also has soccer balls so they loved kicking those too on the bull's eye. Then there was a feeding birds and feeding goats section. So much to do and we didn't even do it all. There was also a craft market and food trucks. Such a nice setup. And later in the day there is music and shows which we missed. There are a bunch of spots to take photos with skeletons and lots of pumpkins and gourds to buy at reasonable prices. You pay $15 to enter and parking is free. Then you pay for certain things like train ride, face painting and animal feed which our youngest wanted. All in all a great experience and our kids said they loved it - unprompted.

Parking was free and there was plenty of space in the lot. Getting out wasn't bad at all either. Like what other reviews have stated, the tickets are not cheap ($45 after tax). But I will say, the entire setup of the area is super cute and well decorated. Not only are there so many places for photo ops but there are also a ton of activities for kids. And honestly, even as an adult, my friends and I had a blast- just channel your inner child and go on those rides! There were mini rollercoasters, slides, petting zoos, a firework show, and so much more. Our time slot was 7-10 pm but honestly, I would try to get there earlier (i.e. 5 pm slot) especially if you purchased exclusive attractions (i.e. haunted house, corn maze, etc). With the general admuission tickets, you don't have access to the special attractions but you can purchase them at Dewberry farm- I believe it was $7.99 each. But if you're already set on going to numerous special attractions, just get the whole package online. My friends and I did the Trail of Terror and it took around 20 minutes to compelte and everything was well done! As for food, I know Dewberry Farm has the snack pack available for $15.99 and that covers kettlecorn, lemonade, a cookie, and a snowcone. And honestly, that's pretty worth it because a kettlecorn bag itself was 10.99- it was very yummy btw, my friends and I almost killed the whole bag in one sitting.
