"You Hit the Wrong Note Billy Goat" (Bill Haley and the Comets) Bradley Mountain Farm was more fun than a Barrel full of ............Goats! We signed up for a 1:00 "Barnard Buddies" session. For ten bucks, we reserved our own bench at the fence that pens in their goats, were given a bag of goat food (compressed hay pellets), and enjoyed a half hour of Goat Wackiness. The fun began when the other 1:00 groups were escorted to our benches by our Guide. We immediately saw the goat herd march to the fence and follow us as to our benches. Obviously, they been through this a zillion times and knew there was chow on the way. I asked out guide if the goats can eat all day and was told yes--of course because goats have 4 stomachs. Another odd feature of the goat's anatomy is their eyes -they have bizarrely rectangular pupils. Apparently, their vulnerability to predators caused their eyes to evolve. They have a broad line of sight, and those rectangular-shaped pupils lets them better see danger approaching. We were instructed to hold the food pellets in our outstretched hand and let the goats "kiss" it out of our hands. It was so interesting to see hoe different goats had personalities -some were super mellow, while others were super aggressive and literally shoved their goat brothers and sisters out of the way to be fed. We did see a few males really go at each other with violent head butts, but our guide said that was normal. Go and take your kiddies and maybe you can take the goats for a walk on a leash or buy some "cuddle time" or Goat Yoga or Dress the Baby Goats in pajamas. I kid you not. This was ridiculously pricey. It cost so much just to make soap when we actually went to the pen to look at the goats. They there was no goats out there. I was so disappointed, and when I went to the back to see the goats there was literally no goats there at all so we finally went to the side that had goats, and then a dog randomly started barking at us. The lady walked out of the door and told us to leave this was an extremely disappointing experience. The supervisor was really rude. and overall it was way too pricey and just a waste of time I would not recommend.1star read more

During my self care journey, my friend made plans for us to try goat yoga. It was truly one of the most incredible experiences of my life this year. The goats are magical and healing. Yoga itself is nice but adding the goats is a whole another level, I did not know my soul needed.I laughed so much and had the best time. Goat Yoga sounds weird ,but it is incredibly wholesome. We had an appointment thus past Sunday and I must say until Sunday I never heard of having a Christmas picture with a goat. So thankful we were able to make this happen. Staff was top notch and very understanding of my disability and working around it. The Clark 2024 Christmas card looks spectacular and can't thank Brabley enough for this experience. They cater to groups as well. We even got to feed some of the goats in their pen. I reminded me of a fishbowl and all the fish coming to the top to find some treats. Great farm with lots of different activities for the family to interact with their goats! They have about 20-30 goats in their herd and a few chickens. We went to the fairy goat-mothers event. You get one hour to walk around the pasteur and feed your goat. You can request a specific goat or they'll choose one for you. All the goats are adorable and there are even baby goats! Some are more obdient and friendlier than others. We chose Buckwheat. He was a great goat companion, but mainly only cared about food. Not the best if you want to hug him though. He also knows a trick! Say "Buckwheat, shake" and he may raise his hoof for you to shake! read more

Forget Disneyland, Bradley Mountain Farm is the happiest place on Earth! The goats are well socialized and the epitome of sweetness. Staff are patient, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they clearly love each and every animal. The goats are happy, healthy, and always ready to snuggle, stroll, or do yoga. The farm offers many activities for animal lovers of all ages, and a lot of them involve interacting closely with the goats (who are great with children). I have had nothing but beautiful experiences at the farm, and I find the goat yoga especially healing and fulfilling. I cannot recommend Bradley Mountain Farm strongly enough. Please do yourself a favor and visit. You may find yourself hooked, as I did; I've been going regularly for almost three years. This was a last minute thing. I found the events online and was able to quickly buy the online tickets for "Goat Snuggles" for 30 min. GPS had no problems getting us there. And, parking was fine, too. It was a scheduled event so everyone found a spot. We checked in with Terri and went to wash our hands at the portable sink. Every group received a leash; and, every person their own goat treats. Before we headed over to the back, Terri went over the rules (adults must always hold the leash - tight and close to their body) and tips to keep the goats happy. Everyone kept their masks on. Some brought blankets to sit on. The goats were friendly. All in all, it was a fun event. The kids were happy so we were happy, too! Tip: Don't forget to sign the online waiver! I had to have my husband complete his waiver on his phone because it seems I only did it for self and the kids. read more

This is a bit on the pricey side as far as goat yoga goes, but you will not be disappointed. There are SO MANY GOATS. Big ones and little ones and they are all so sweet. The little ones absolutely love jumping on backs. The yoga was at a beginner level, but honestly the goats make it very difficult to actually do the yoga. Our visit was such a disappointment- the owner/ supervisor was repeatedly very rude to our group and was hard to work with- unlike other farms this was a very limited interaction - 1 goat- we paid over $300 to pet a goat. There were lots of rules and this is not an experience I recommend for kids. read more

Came for goat yoga this morning and had a great time! I'm happy that we were throughly warned that the goats aren't potty trained because they will go whenever they feel like it! Doing the yoga was admittedly a little hard because I was distracted, but our instructor Amy was great! I would definitely come back and it's a great place to bring little kids. read more

I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner! This is a family-run farm and everyone that works there is super friendly. You can tell that they take wonderful care of the animals and they're passionate about their extended furry family! The goats are ADORABLE and I would have set up camp in the goat pen all day if I was allowed. There are a handful of interactive programs with the goats including "join the herd" which is 30 minutes in the goat pen holding babies & petting goats, a goat walk, goat hike, goat yoga, goat meditation, and more! I recommend checking out their website to see descriptions on each available activity. If I'm not mistaken, some of them have specific days & times that they're offered- so make sure you plan ahead! They also offer soap making classes using goat milk! There's a cute little gift shop that sells a variety of things like soap, snacks, shirts, artwork, and more. Small paper bags of goat food are available to purchase for $1. This made for an amazing day and I will definitely be back for more goat-filled fun again! read more

Not impressed. I signed up for a picture with their reindeer goat. Paid for only one pose and paid extra for a 5th person. The fifth person blocked their only Christmas decoration so I have no idea why I had to pay extra. The photo was shot at a terrible angle. The photographer literally took one photo. It was from a bad angle and wasn't even a level shot. I would suggest a tripod be used, a little attention to detail and take a few pictures in your "one pose" option. People are spending their time and paying money for this. At least try to make it worth it. read more

General lack of one on one time with The goat Is a problem. We were told to sit in the corner and so were ignored by the feeders.. If you dont have food, the goats are not interested. Dont let them sit you in the corner. The whole point of goat yoga is the goats. I got 30 seconds of goat time in an hour of trying to get attention. Also, do not book in advance. This place has a good business model because they really got my money I paid almost 80$ to take my teen to have fun. We arrived and there was no one to tell us where to go so we ended up in a birthday party. After looking for a worker they pointed us in the right direction but the door was locked we had tried so they opened the door. We wanted to try goat yoga which we have never done. I read all the info. when I purchased the date and it didn't say to bring your own mat. I thought for 80$ a hour they would have told us at least. so we go in the room and the instuctor was young didn't speak to us just thought we knew what to do so we just stood there for ten minutes. finally I started looking for something to sit on mat chair anything. they said for safety reasons they couldn't let us use a mat or chair. Then a person came out with goat food and began to feed every goat who stepped on a yoga mat since we didn't have a mat all the goats left us. So now we are just standing there I apologize to my daugater because the goats don't want to be around us because they didn't get fed. It's really hard to believe so they say just sit here and we will feed them. I said I don't want to sit in the goat urine and po. So they swept out a spot. It's a beautiful Saturday but they have us in a room with 10-12 people dark so the goats can't get away. I know people need to make money but this is not the way to treat people or the animals. I'm sure some people do have good time here but as a animal lover I don't know how people would think this is a good idea. I even asked to talk to the owner and she came out I said we can't even get close to the goats because you feed the goats for stepping on a yoga mat. She said you still have 40 minutes on your hour session you should go back in. I didn't want to go watch this happen and I didn't even want my money back. Mainly I just don't understand how teaching animals to do this using food as a baby is thought to be cute be humane in my state this is not even legal if you know what happens to these goats once they get a few months old and see how they are treated but everyone just wants a picture of trained by feeding goats and you dress them up in outfits very strange. I was super disappointed when I found out that I needed to pay $15 per person in our family to participate in a 30-minute goat stroll at the Barnes Nature Center. The Bradley Mountain Farm representative told me I was not able to be refunded my $15 but if I paid $60 then my three little children under 8 and myself could attend the event. It would be $60 for me to walk the goat and for my children to watch me and not walk the goat. I was under the impression that the person walking the goat was charged. The worst part was that I believed the $15 would be going straight to the Barnes Nature Center to raise money for their programs. Quite shameful. read more

The owners of Bradley Mountain always open their farm to our corporate teams for team building exercises and dinner. WE all have had great events here at the farm: Goat mani/pedi, milking goats, playing with goats, and of course soap making with goat milk. Both men and women have enjoyed these team building activities! They always beg me to book another trip to the farm for more fun things to do. read more

Bradley Mt., Soaps is a wonderful place to visit. During the holidays I went on their house tour. The tour is very informative about the history of the original owners,( Bradley's), their home, their lives, their friendly ghosts. They also had a buffet with wine, cheese and the best bacon and grilled cheese sandwiches, ever! The goats are so friendly, downright adorable. I have been purchasing their soaps for a few years now, the fragrances are so aromatic and long lasting. I think what makes this a 5 star business is how Anneliese, Matt, and son Kylan are kind and courteous and Karen their PR and saleswoman, is warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The idea behind goat n pajamas looked so cute. However, for $15 a person being I don't expect that two different groups should have to share one goat. It wasn't enough one on one time as described. There was way too many people crammed in one area it was tough to even try and get a picture. If you're looking for one on one time for your group and a goat, don't do goat n pajamas !
