Never going back , expensive, horrible customer service and uncaring. I went in a few days ago and purchased two apples. One had peanuts, and the other was chocolate. The lady using the knife to slice the apples used the same knife for both. When I asked if she could use a new knife because I'm allergic, she and her coworker told me they couldn't use a different one since it was already contaminated. They said they use the same utensils for everything when preparing the apples and that all apples are cross-contaminated with everything in the store. I've been there multiple times and have never been told that there was a risk for allergy concerns. They were also rude when I tried to understand how everything could be contaminated with peanuts. This happened after I had already paid and was told I couldn't get a refund. read more

Went in tonight before a movie. 2 young ladies working. Very sweet and nice mannered. Got a birthday truffle. A+ delish!!! Coconut macaroon- good Sugar free dark choc peanut thing- delish Also got the only thing they had that had rice crispy type things in it-- I forget the name of it but it is heaven in a square!!!! Must try. I go to the movies a lot so we will be back. A lot I'm sure. I wanna try all the truffles, the chocolate covered cherries and so much more!!!! read more

The Rockwall Harbor Center is a place to come and see the sunset. Go to a concert. Watch your kids play in the water fountain. Take a catamaran boat ride or a sunset dinner cruise. It's also a place to eat. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is one of a chain and a very good one, specializing in high dollar chocolate treats. Chocolate covered apples, chocolates, truffles, bars, clusters, sheets, sticks, and on and on and on. We stopped by for one Chocolate covered Caramel Square ($1.75) and a Peanut Bear Cluster ($6.50) and called it good. Some items are priced individually and others by weight. Chocolate, chocolate. I like my sweets but idk if I'm crazy about chocolate. Came here on a whim after the live concert thursday. Lots of customers inside bc of the event and since there was 2 employees, there was a wait to order. The dipped apples looked good which most ppl were getting that. Others ordered more chocolate things and we got chocolate pops which was very sweet. I like desserts to be refreshing and light so chocolate isn't my favorite. This place seems great for chocolate lovers tho so I understand their appeal. read more

I love this place, I come as often as I can.. but today, we arrived at 9:10 only to get told they were closed.. Drove all the way from Princeton to Rockwall. The store hours that are posted on the door says 10pm, including every other site when you look up this location. Super frustrating. read more

Christina & Martha are awesome! Smiling and greeting each person that comes in. The location is friendly and the casing of chocolates are well kept, clean and tidy! I've been to quite a few in different states and that's not always the case. We are staying in this area for a few weeks and plan to be back with my two year old who loves their chocolate bears! Amazing custom order!! I requested items to celebrate my daughter receiving her cosmetology license and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory went above and beyond! They created an arrangement with cake balls decorated with candy lips and included a brush, scissors and hair clips for a festive display. They tasted GREAT, of course!! read more

Visited the location in Estes Park, Colorado back on August 9th. I ordered several items including 2 caramel apples. When we went back to our cabin it was discovered that I only had 1 Apple instead of 2. I called the store prior to closing and left a message. Someone did call me bsck and said I could come back at that time or in the morning when they opened to get my apple. It was already 9:00 p.m. which was their closing do we decided to wait until morning. Due to our travel schedule we were not able to go back to the chocolate factory when they opened at 10:00 a.m.. After we arrived home( 3 days later), I got a call from Rocky mountain chocolate factory and she asked if I ever went back for my apple and told her no as we left before they opened. She wanted to reimburse me and at first I said no, it was okay but she insisted. I gave her my address and she mailed me a $5.00 Bill. Very nice of her and great customer service.
