It's a decent place. Good spot to go close to Ga Tech. They have some parking in a graveled lot in the back - but they do need more. It's a Philadelphia sports hangout. They have a covered outdoor area which is nice when the weather is good. Food is average. read more

This is your classic sports bar with plenty a beer on tap and all the classic American food options like nachos, pizza, and burgers. It had a very cabin/ lake house feeling inside with all the wood. There's a decent amount of bar seating and it goes further back than you expect. I thought the food was decent. It wasn't terrible but definitely not mind bending. I tried a sub of sorts and it came with sweet potato fries which was a nice option. Our waitress was a little aloof and we were the only group dining in when we went so it shouldn't have been much to handle anyway. Probably wouldn't come back but if you needed a place to hang and get a beer and watch sports, you can certainly do that here. Oh, and they're completely cash-less, card only. From the first step into the door I was greeted by a lovely and friendly bartender. We had a nice chat while I was waiting for my coworker to park the car. We didn't sit st the bar we chose a booth and I took in the mellow and relaxed atmosphere. The waiter was fast and friendly and stayed on point with keeping our glasses full and checking on our satisfaction. I had a couple slices and wanted to try their specialties. I got the chicken Alfredo and the pesto pizza with sausage. They brought a tomato olive onion and sausage slice but hey no worries. I ate it and thought it was excellent. If you're a Georgia Tech student, you already know that this is the best place for trivia around. I consistently come here for trivia on Tuesdays and Thursdays (usually either or), and man, these are some core memories! About the food: everything served is what you'd anticipate at a bar: pizza, sandwiches, fried stuff, etc. Unfortunately, because of it's location between midtown and west midtown, their prices have really increased and are a bit unreasonable for the quality and quantity of food you're getting. I ordered a pepperoni pizza (medium) last week, and I felt like it was more oil than it was cheese and pepperoni. I think the only worth-while things to order is a pitcher of [insert your favorite beer/cider from menu] and their fried pickles. I ordered a philly cheesesteak and it was in a tiny hoagie with lukewarm, soggy fries. Though incredibly salty, their sour-salty taste make them supremely addicting to munch on. I would say the service is decent as their team is mostly students. It is very much a seedy feeling bar. I have never been here for an Eagles game, but it does seem super hype as it is when trivia is occurring. Highly recommend coming here for trivia sometime! read more

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews as I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I hadn't been in 5-10 years and went during the UGA/GT game so expected it to be total chaos. It was very crowded and loud but a fun environment to watch a game in. You order ahead through your phone and pay so you don't need to wait for a server. Because of this, service was MUCH faster than I would've expected if we had a specific server assigned to the table. Drink selections were great and they had good drink specials. I have never been more disgusted by a business than I was this past Sunday at Rocky Mountain Pizza. As diehard Eagles fans, my friends, family, and I have frequented this bar throughout the season to watch the games, bringing our support and money week after week. However, after what happened during the Super Bowl, I will never return, and I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting this establishment. After standing in line for an hour--understandable given the Super Bowl crowd--we finally got inside, only to find no available tables. We noticed two open tables nearby and asked security if we could sit there. Security had no issue with it, so we sat down. But almost immediately, a man named Mike, who claimed to be the owner, came over and aggressively berated us--two Black women--screaming in our faces and demanding that we leave the table. When I calmly explained that security had told us we could sit there, he dismissed it entirely, saying he didn't care what security said and that we needed to move immediately. Meanwhile, the men in our group were across the room at the bar, but when they saw Mike screaming at us, they came over to de-escalate the situation. Instead of handling things professionally, Mike put his hands on my male cousin, smacking his back. When my cousin rightfully told him to keep his hands off, Mike ran to security and had him removed from the bar--despite the fact that Mike was the aggressor from the beginning. The fact that this man thought it was acceptable to put his hands on a paying customer, scream in the faces of Black women, and then have us removed is beyond unacceptable. What's even more disturbing is that many people who look like me have supported and spent money at this business for years, only to be treated with blatant disrespect by the so-called owner. And honestly? If I'm being real, this bar isn't even that great--it's the energy of the patrons that made it fun, not the establishment itself. But after this experience, I wouldn't spend another dime there. If this is how Rocky Mountain Pizza treats the very people who have helped keep their business thriving, I suggest we all take our support elsewhere. Mike, since you were so eager for us to leave and "go ahead and write a review"--here you go. Safe to say, I won't be back. read more

We were so excited to try their trivia. On the website it says that trivia is on Thursdays at 8:30pm. We had heard that the place fills up quickly so we made sure we got there by 8:05. No tables were available so we were waiting for a table to be done that wasn't playing trivia so we could sit. At 8:14, they start the trivia early. We went and asked if we could join but they said we had to have a table. We got the table by 8:25 (before the actual trivia time) and tried to join trivia then. But the host very rudely said no we're done giving out cards. He wouldn't look us in the eye, wouldn't apologize for starting trivia early, instead he grunted at us a bunch and very meanly refused us. We were so disappointed :( even the food was just alright but I think that's more because we were just sad at how rudely they turned us away even though they started early. Good college bar right near GT campus. They do bar trivia at 8:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I went on Tuesday around 7:45 to make sure I got a table. Make sure you go early because it fills up. Ordered some coors light draft ($3.5) and a pretzel ($5.5) to start. Pretzel was good, but probably wouldn't order it again. My partner and I split a large pizza, half CAJUN (Andouille sausage, grilled blackened chicken, melted mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and cheddar cheese), and half SMOKEHOUSE (BBQ sauce, mesquite grilled chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, Monterey Jack, and cheddar cheese) for $21. The fries were soggy with cheese on top and it looked like it was microwaved. The pizza was not impressive even for a bar pizza. The wings were tad but salty than expected. And the fries had no salt. The beer list is not available on the digital menu requiring our poor waiter to go back-and-forth each time we would order something unavailable.
