Needed a jetting of our main line. Erik & Davonte with RMSJ arrived on time, took care of the job in the allotted 2 hours & handed us a flash drive video that gave us visuals out to the street. We had no issues but we have had our home since 1991 in a neighborhood with lots of mature trees. Calling RMSJ was a proactive move & the results were exactly what we wanted. Clean & rootless. My 85 & 86 year old parents had Applewood come out for a washing machinie back-up/flood. Applewood claimed whole sewer line needed to be replaced for $11,000. I talked to Art at Rocky Mountain Sewer Jet. He talked to me (and tried to talk to my parents, but they were confused & confusing). He made suggestions about what my brother & I could test to see what the issue was. We tried them & mostly got everything unblocked. Technicians came out - they videoed & cleaned everything out. I tried to be cheap and save a little money so I called a "$99" rooter and that guy shouldn't even be allowed to clean Robert Sterling's boots from Rocky Mountain Sewer-Jet! Wasted $99 and wished I had called Robert first. He charged a bit more than the $99 but I don't think two $99 guys would have come close to the professionalism Robert showed. He refused to be beaten and did everything possible including reviewing the recent video from the sewer scope. He made no excuses and when the sewer scope was redone it was a clean bill of health. Your tec guy Guy McMains can really be a big A@@. Let me explain when guy is driving his work truck pulling a utility trailer stopped at a stop sing and I am about to pass him on my right side (he is stopped) he decided to go (cut me off) I braked and gave him the finger. I keep going and looked into my mirror to see him turning around with the trailer. I approached a stop sing with a couple of cars between us I see him. I turned left he turned left drove a couple of blocks approaching a stop light where there is a left turn lane and a straight right turn lane I stopped couple cars back in left turn lane and he came on on my right side slowed down just to spit right into my open window witch hit my girlfriend sitting in passenger seat. She called the cops while we followed to give plate number. He proceeds to speed down the street and tapping the breaks every now and then. While on the phone with the police department he is swerving in and out of traffic thru residential streets and at one point when stopped he put his truck into reverse to try to hit me. While on phone with the police she was recording him and took a picture of the logo, witch is how I know who the driver was. Thanks to their company website with his picture on it. Let me throw in the kicker his little kid was in the truck the whole time this was going on. No more then ten years old. So he may be a great sewer fixer person, this is who this person is outside of his work so if you hire this company just be aware of the people that you let into your house. read more

We were very disappointed with this vendor. We thought we were being charged $150 for a sewer jet scope and cleanout but they charged us $265 despite a rate that was quoted earlier of $150. We know that other companies charge much less for the same service. When I tried to speak to the owner about the discrepancy, he would not budge. Instead telling us we were charged for an earlier visit. Also, they charge $15 for gas service fee....really? Buyer beware! read more

I am giving this a 2 out of 5. My issue comes when you expect the experts in this line of work to guide you because you are not one. In my situation all I would have asked for is the full disclosure on when they felt next steps were probably useless and therefore, save the $$ and put it towards the resolution. Multiple visits and advice after the first visit that tried to solve and identify the problem. They should have known the problem was out of their wheel house after the first attempt and put me on the next steps towards sewer line replacement. Instead, "well we can try this for another $600. Then try this for another $495. Then try this for another $300." Over $2315 later and $1100 of that should never have gone to 'next steps' with them. They should have said you need to put that toward a replacement. Customers rely on expertise and direction from the companies that proclaim to be the experts because customers are not the experts. I would expect more in line with helping solve the issue not draining the $$ from customers for their gain. read more

We had a phantom odor in our house for approx. two months; we had multiple plumbers and mold inspectors come out and they were completely stumped as to its source (it was SO frustrating!). Rocky Mnt Sewer Jet came out one afternoon and did a very thorough inspection; they found the source of the sewer gas leak through a smoke test. They went completely above and beyond to completely check out the plumbing and venting systems throughout our house. The odor is now completely gone and we can feel comfortable in our home again! They were reasonably priced and so very helpful. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing issue that comes up. read more

I have had nothing but fantastic service and quick response from RMSJ. Their employees are friendly and very careful that they are clean (protecting floor and carpets, cleaning up after themselves). I have worked with them several times, and a few were emergencies.They were here quickly and ready to help. My basement was flooding from a backed up sewer. John was very detailed and took the time to figure out the exact reason of the backup, and it was resolved. They have a top of the line camera that is very helpful in determining what is going on. We have also used them for inspection for our business prior to purchasing. I recommend them for any job big or small. Nice people too! read more

I was a new customer with a complicated problem at my restaurant in castle pines. I thought for sure they were going make it really hard on me financially to get everything back on track. They guys were the most professional, reasonable and responsive contactor I've ever hired. They spent significantly more time on this job then planned but never complained. Scheduled a Hydro Jet and sewer scope ($460). First opening was 2 days out, and was supposed to take place mid to late morning. I took the morning off waiting for someone to show, which they did not. I called at noon only to be told that they had some "emergencies" come up (that I am guessing were much more important then my cracked sewer line that we needed to get a better look at asap), and they would be out mid afternoon sometime. No call, no show, no thanks. I'm a realtor and I will be referring another company that will show a little more professionalism. read more

Not a good experience though I would like to apologize to Art, one of the owners, for hanging up on him- I am pregnant and when he was on the phone and being rude I got inexplicably emotional. We had our sewer cleaned, they didn't go far enough out/get it all, nor did they recommend us having it scoped so it filled again. It filled slowly because it is rather long and when the back up was finally detectable by us, we were out of the warranty period of their work (not a generous 30 days, Garvin's will guarantee you for 90) and did not want to have them come back again and do another poor job. We had two professionals come and tell us they didn't get it all and should have at least recommended a scope. We got the same work they charged $580 for done by Garvin's for $213 and will be getting See Inside Sewer Scope to scope it this week for us (they are awesome, we have used them before - Dan Echols) which we would have done had Rocky Mountain recommended it as we ALWAYS listen to our trusted professionals' given advice. Save your money- go with Garvins and then See Inside Sewer Scope. One last little tidbit- I left a message explaining the situation and when Art from RMSJ called back the first thing he said, firmly and with no finesse was "no refunds!" Not great customer service. I would recommend he LISTEN to his customers. read more

I had a badly, badly clogged sewer line. It was rootbound, and full of thick sludge that regular cabling machines couldn't get rid of. Another well-known local company was unable to get the line clear, and recommended I replace the line. I was referred to Rocky Mountain Sewer-Jet by the company I called to scope the line. Cameron came out right away and got to work cleaning the line. He worked on it for a couple of hours from both the bathroom and the crawlspace before finally recommending having it jetted, which I realized should have probably been our first plan of attack anyway. Mateo and Jose came back with the water jet and had it cleaned out completely within an hour. I had it scoped right after they left, and there wasn't a bit of build-up left in the pipe. It was perfect. Their pricing is reasonable also. These guys are the only ones I will ever call for future cleanings. read more
