The shop has a policy of only a certain number of shoppers in store at a time to keep with social distancing, otherwise it would have been even more packed. Found my go-to crystal spot in North Jersey! Yes! Whomever created the layout of the store has done a really good job! Especially, for beginners who just started experimenting in the mystical world! Love the vibe in here! The music and the aromatherapy smell when you walk in is absolutely serene. Very inviting! Okay so I recently got into crystals and I guess it was only a matter of time. I've been doing yoga for years now which got me into essential oils and that led me into my new hobby of collecting crystals. Growing up my family was always big on Jade but I never really appreciated the benefits and beauty of it until recently. I'm not sure if it's me but it seems like crystals are popping up everywhere nowadays, I see it in candles, crystal rollers for your face, crystals in body sprays/fragrance/make up & etc.. the list just goes on and on. No complaints but I'm so glad I found Rocky's as their prices are excellent. Confession: every time I go into this store, I walk out with a few items. I'll admit, I probably spend too much money here. But whatever, it's pretty and it makes me happy :) The staff here is very knowledgeable with any questions you have. Upon walking into the store, you just feel this great burst of positive energy. I'm still learning a lot about crystals but I'm loving the journey. They have the biggest collection I've seen in NJ and you can always call ahead to see if the have a certain stone in stock. I really love that they have the crystal chips that are small enough to put into your essential roller bottles - I've gotten amethyst, rose quartz, clear quartz, tiger's eye, pyrite and carnelian so far (I really hope more comes in such as green jade and aquamarine, *hint hint*). Cute little crystal shop in NJ. You can find all sorts of crystals... mostly in small tumbled or raw forms. There are some bigger pieces in the back by the register. But I would go elsewhere if you are looking for large specimens. All sorts of cute decorative items like signs, dream catchers, feathers. Some books but not many. Sage bundles. I've been meaning to review this shop for some time. My daughter is an avid collector of gems, stones and crystals and this shop has a vast selection, many she has never seen elsewhere. When you come here for the first time, you will peruse the store for over an hour, because there is so much to shop for! I love the zen feeling you get from the shop! There is an incense smell that wafts in the air throughout the store. Calm and soothing music is playing in the background. Everything is neatly organized and the stones are labeled for the most part. There are little notes describing the properties, and where it came from. I also love that there are usually a variety of sizes to choose from. My daughter loves to collect smaller sizes in general, which is a plus because that means it will be less expensive! Not only do they sell loose stones, they also sell bracelets, necklaces, incense, sage, selenite wands, essential oils, and some home decor. I wasn't expecting to buy anything unless I really liked it and I am pretty picky but this place exceeded my expectations. The prices were very reasonable and less expensive than most crystal stores without compromising on quality. There was a large variety of crystals and crystal jewelry as well as tarot decks, books and candles. The prices ranged from $2-$150 and most items were around $2-$20 so there is something for everyone. I ended up buying the black tourmaline golden bangle ($21) and a raw Amethyst cluster($2.95) . I started healing with crystals about a year ago. Was driving into the Poconos and saw a gem store. 1 hour later I felt so much relief and joy that I hadn't felt in sometime. Love this little shop so much!! However I've had to learn to let go of being charged 4-7$ extra every time I shop here. I take pictures of all the crystals as I shop and compare on the receipt. It's usually a few dollar more than what I should have been charged. So let's consider that a donation. I never go get it corrected in fear of bringing negative energy into such a peaceful store. I love that many of the crystals are or can be made into pendants with the in-house wire wrapping, and almost everything can be handled. Been a loyal customer for years but after the second time buying a piece of junk jewelry that they won't return, I am done. My 12 year old bought a ring that fell apart within minutes (TRULY!) and they won't accept a return or exchange. This is a cute little crystal shop off of Bloomfield Ave in Montclair. The first time I went into the store was the night of their Customer Appreciation Party. How nice is that? Even though I came to the store while they were setting up for the party, they still answered my questions and helped me find what I came to the store for (amethyst and black tourmaline). I took some time to look around and see what else they sold. I thought the stones that they have at the shop are high quality and there was a variety of stones (and sizes) on display. Also, what I think was a nice touch were the short descriptions for each stone. The shop encourages you to take a picture of the descriptions, which was a cool way to distributing the info. This works for me; instead of tiny slips of paper that I'll lose in my purse or a junk drawer, I have it on my mobile. In addition to the stones I needed, I also picked up a white sage smudge. Lastly, when you make a purchase, they will offer you a free crystal of your choosing (I picked up a nice honey agate). I will definitely come here the next time I need to crystal up :) read more

Walked into this gem of a store (no pun intended) after a lovely Montclair dinner. It's peaceful, tranquil and everything you'd expect from a store selling healing crystals. The owner at the cash register was super chill and kind. I really enjoyed looking at all the crystals, minerals and spiritual statues. The prices were very fair. They have a wide selection of crystals, along with decorative goodies, candles, healing & meditation needs, and even meditation gatherings! It was my first time here and I've never met someone as loving and knowledgeable for their customers. I picked up on one of the employers, i know I'm gonna misspell his name.. Corell? greeting previous customers and assisting them when they had questions and opinions on things. Every rock here has the description and prices right by it so you do not have to go back and forth to checking upon price.. Prices are fair for what you pick up. They do it by size and location of where the rock came from. They even have jewelry for sale. The ambience is great. Its modest and chic than typical rock stores. Everything's organized well and makes you look upon each shelf thoroughly before moving towards the back of the store. They did great in terms of flow because I had myself looking at every bit of detail! Also if you spend $15, they will give you a complimentary rock to choose from. This place has been bookmarked forever and I finally had the time and remembered to go. For one, let's just get this out of the way, parking in Montclair sucks. I went on a Sunday so I was able to find a spot a few blocks away, which was fine, but overall - parking sucks. As for the store itself, I've found my new go-to crystal shop. As soon as I walked in I felt at home. The energy of the entire space was so warm and welcoming. Everything was displayed nicely and easy to see and find prices for (important to me). Also, the selection was pretty vast in my opinion. This was the first crystal/rock shop I visited when I moved to New Jersey. It's about a 45 minute drive from home, so it's not close by any means; but I will always go back because the selection and energy here is amazing. There are so many mineral specimens, crystals, jewelry, books, and other mystical items to look at when you arrive. You can tell that the owners really believe in what they sell and they've created an inviting atmosphere to browse. I've visited rock shops that have a bad vibe and the owners basically stalk behind you as you shop. This shop isn't like that at all, I've met both of the owners and they're super friendly and welcoming. The prices are a little high on some pieces just based on my experiences buying crystals in the past, but they are of excellent quality & I know I'm supporting a small business...so I can't be too upset about it. It's a cute shop on the main road that is nicely lit and very inviting. The owners are a married couple that are friendly and helpful with their customers. I was looking for a new cage for my Tiger's Eye that fell out its casing from another store. A family member of mine referred me here and I'm glad I went in. There were so many various crystals and minerals to choose from a long with different settings they came in. Some were in a natural state while others were shaped into pyramids and hearts. I particularly kept gravitating to a large black pyramid but wanted to complete my initial goal here. The selection of jewelry was also of a good variety. They also make bracelets in house to fit your needs. I like that there is a little sheet letting you know the meanings behind each gem and what it helps amplify or deters. I ended up getting a small cage fore my stone along with a small white pyramid that caught my eye. Altogether I paid about $18 which isn't bad. Next time I'm in the area I will be sure to visit for something new. read more

However, what I mean is, the crystals & shop look very zen, but the music was some kind of pop crap that ruined any real zen feeling. I think ppl forget that crystals carry energy, REAL energy, and I just think it would be more in resonance with Hz style music playing instead of Ariana Grande or whatever crap was over the radio...threw my shopping vibe way off.
