This is a late post but this place is amazing! Moe was incredibly attentive and provided counsel all along the way. We worked with Moe and team after living almost a year with temporary fabric shades (note, in prolonged direct sun they disintegrate so be careful!). He came to our house, masked up and following proper COVID-19 protocols and helped us find the perfect match for our home. At that visit, we not only picked the windows we intended to cover, but he was so friendly and open to negotiation that we ordered for about 90% of our 10 windows! It took a few weeks for the blinds to come in but he was clear about the status all along the way. The installer was also very professional (I'm bummed I'm forgetting his name) and very nice. His work was top notch. We were so pleased with the experience and the work that we called Moe back two weeks later and ordered window covers for the remaining windows! Rodeo is our go to place for window coverings no question at all in my mind. If you're trying to find the right window coverings and the right partner to find them and install, this is your place. We have a sink faucet that was installed very close to the windows . He reassured me that we can put shutters ,and I can still open and close the windows if needed. Scheduled an appointment for 12pm today for an estimate about a week ago via Yelp and confirmed with Moe as you can see via my screenshot. Today was my appt and at noon I called asking if they were going to be on time. Moe said he had no recollection of scheduling this appointment with me. I told him it was him himself that scheduled the appointment so I'm not sure how he wasn't aware. I told him not to even come out because if this is how their 1st encounter with me is, I can't imagine how they are after you actually hire them. While the pricing was competitive, the attitude Moe gave us during his visits was completely unacceptable. Every client is on a different budget, so we shouldn't have felt pressured during his first visit to provide us with an estimate. We were told that we should purchase the best quality for our home and his price was unbeatable, so there was no reason not to go with him. Even when I explained that we had a certain budget and needed time to consider, he continued to pressure us. Even when we did end up giving Moe our business, he did not provide the level of customer service promised. After installation, he came to perform the walk through and at the end, straight up asked if we could just write him a check so he could leave. We found several chips on the wood shutters, so asked if they could be replaced under the lifetime warranty. We were given several eye rolls and told that they were so minor. I have had shutters installed in the past without damages and expect to get what I paid for. He was very unresponsive and we had to follow up several times for an update. I worked with Moe, the owner, who gave me the most affordable quote out of 10 other vendors I emailed / called, since I had the window dimensions. We got roller blinds that were manual, but also power blinds. The material is from Europe, and the power blind mechanism works really well and smoothly. It is made of high quality. Initially, I wanted black out shades, but Moe has taste. He strongly recommended that we go with either white or grey color given our house's decor and ambiance. The owner of this company was quick to respond and shared information on potential project costs via Yelp chat. I asked if he comes by to measure windows, show me materials and give me an official quote. He said "Yes this is what we do...I can come to show you our quality blinds, take the measurements, And if you placed order with us we can install it in 2 weeks". He came to my home for a proper quote, but at the end of the appt when I asked him to email me the quote and I would sign on for the job in a few days in order to schedule this project after my TBD home painting date, he tried to argue with me and scold me, in my home, for not signing a contract on the spot and for "wasting his time". He implied I should have signed on and paid him a deposit after only receiving a Yelp message. His poor demeanor costed him the job. We messaged back and forth and he said he could come to my home on the same day but we made an appointment for the following day - Sunday. Moe arrived on time and looked at the job. I unfortunately went to Costco to get some of my blinds because you know it was a certain percentage off and you got money back and it was all very exciting. but luckily the shutters were so expensive. I knew I couldn't go with that company so I called rodeo blinds and that's when I learned I should've went with them for everything. The prices were so much better.
