We had a very disappointing experience with them. First, a representative came to take photos, and had another technician came to take measurements. When the installer finally came, nothing fit correctly and parts were missing. They promised to fix everything, but the new curtains turned out too thin, too short in width, offering almost no privacy. For our main bedroom, they only provided sheer curtains without blackout backing, even though we clearly said multiple times (and they had pictures) to match what we already had. Now they want to charge extra for the blackout fabric that should have been included from the start. Too many mistakes, delays, and poor communication, definitely not the professional service we expected. read more

I actually shopped around with some other curtain places before I settled with F and R. When We walked in half an hour before they closed we had the pleasure of meeting Paul Egas, who despite the fast-approaching closing time very patiently explained things to us and let us take our time with choosing fabric. Since we were very indecisive he let us bring home a few of the fabric books to compare against our wall color. We went back and forth for weeks with changing our mind but Paul was so patient and answered all our questions and sent multiple quotes, as well as giving us some great recommendations. The customer service was amazing and the prices super reasonable compared to some other places. They don't try to oversell anything like some other places I called, and were happy to work with our budget. My only criticism is the hours- they are 9-5 when everyone is working and no weekend hours, so it was kind of difficult to coordinate going over. I'm still so happy I found them and wish i had other work to do around my house so I could work with them again! read more

I had a great experience when hiring F&R Interiors. I had them redo my window shades. Sandra and her staff are all really knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you find what you want. It's already hard enough for me to make a decision on where to eat so finding window shades would seem impossible...They made the whole process easy and quick. They installed motorized Duette shades that are connected to an app on my phone, it's really easy to use and I am able to control my shades from anywhere. It really convenient now after this heatwave we've been having in Los Angeles. This was one if not the worst experience I've had with a service provider. We spent about $100k on shades/curtains with endless meetings picking fabric/measuring. We are left with ill fitting curtains that still needs work but now the owner has said our floors are uneven. Aren't they supposed to measure the length correctly from the start? This business is not accommodating to those who work Monday through Friday. No weekend hours and will not offer solutions to gain your business. I just wasted my time having someone come out for a quote with another person not able to find my file nor accommodate to show me products they offer. Stopped in to look at drapes and was informed that they offer free in home consultations. They informed me that they do free consultations and convinced me to make an appointment so I did. I told them my schedule was tight and that I needed to do it first thing in the morning so we set it for 9:00am that next Monday. At 8:40am on the day of my appt. I get a call from their office telling me that they are running 1 1/2 hours late! Who calls 20 mins before and appt. to tell you that they are running that late! They weren't apologetic at all considering that I was sitting around waiting for them all morning. I'll be taking my business elsewhere! read more

I have done remodeling in my office. I am so grateful to F&R for the job they have done to create a zen atmosphere in the office. They were awesome! Rob and Helane came out many times, helped me with choice of fabric, design, and color scheme. Sandra has created our patterns. When our windows treatments were installed they checked that everything was perfect and operational. It is rare that the patient comes to the office and does not comment on the look and appearance. Without telling me, my housekeeper put some of my old drapes in the washing machine. They shrunk and shredded so I suddenly needed new ones. I called a couple of places I found online and when I called F & R interiors, a nice lady named Helane answered and gave me all sorts of advice that seemed accurate. She also gave me a ballpark figure for the project and made no attempt to hard sell me or to steer me towards more expensive choices. I called other drape places and they did try to hard sell me and steer me towards spending more than necessary...so Helane's ball park figure started looking pretty good. I called her back and invited her over to show me samples and give me a real price. She had exactly what I wanted in her sample books and the price was better, I'm sure, than I would have gotten from any of the other places I called. So I now have drapes from F & R on those windows and I'm delighted with how they look and what I paid for them and how easy Helane made the whole thing. We called for a consultation for shades in the back room of our house. It was a tough situation since it was for double doors that opened to the back with barely any room on one side of the windows. Rob from F&R came the first ime and showed us our options based on what he thought would be possible. A few weeks went by and we were not happy with any of those decisions. We asked Rob if he could come back and he happily did. We finally decided on a system we thought was best. Although it took us a few more weeks to finally order them, he was so patient the whole time and we ordered them, had them installed (which they did a great job on) and got a great price for the whole system. I'm so happy with my F&R Roman shades. We needed a new lining for our shades. I didn't have to do any of the measuring! They come out to speak with you and see what's needed. (I wanted a strong fabric to withstand strong sunlight, but also didn't want a totally dark room. They created the perfect lining for my needs.) These guys are the best! Buying window treatments is not my idea of a great time. My husband stopped off at F&R just to get a general idea, and Helane offered to come to our house on a weekend. This woman knows her stuff, she won't try to upsell you on things you don't need, and she is a godsend when you are trying to make decisions about what to do with your windows. She is very knowledgeable, so if you already know what you want to do, she can hook you up.
