    Roach in the bathroom.

The lobby had a weird funky smell when you walked in, the bed is horrible, woke up to use the restroom room to find two roaches, one in bathroom and one in the area where the sink is. Do not recommend staying here.

Because your office/front desk is "Under Construction" you aren't serving continental breakfast? Yeah right. And if that really is the case, offer a discount on the price of the rooms because you aren't providing breakfast and you're supposed to be. Tips - Book on hotels.com to get the best prices on rooms. Parking is included but make sure you are only parking in the Rodeway Inn parking spots.

I wouldn't give it 1 star... you know it's bad when you don't want to touch anything in the room

I leave long reviews, so I apologize in advance! We had a room booked for 2 queen sized beds since…read morethere were supposed to be 4 of us. The week before our stay, a 5th person who had previously said they weren't coming, decided to come. Expected to stay with us of course since they didn't want to pay for their own room. (Gotta love family. ) I called the hotel & explained what was happening & asked if we could get a cot or something so no one had to sleep on the floor. She put me on hold for a brief minute & then told me she was able to upgrade us to a room that had a couch that folded out to a bed. Then told me there'd be no extra charge. I was so grateful! When we checked in & got to the room, the sofa was in a small area with a wall, so you couldn't see the actual bedroom from the front door or sofa area. We saw there was an extra pillow in the closet, but no bedding there. When I told my daughter I was going to go to the lobby & get bedding, she suggested I fold it out first to see if it was made up. Sure enough, all made up with sheets & a blanket. Again, so appreciated! Very clean room, beds were comfortable, basic amenities provided, including a small fridge & coffee maker. Coffee, tea, creamers, and sugars provided. Hair dryer, ironing supplies also in the room with a nice sized closet/hangers. We didn't need them, but I like to include what was provided to help anyone reading this that may. This will be our go to hotel when in this area again. Lit parking lot & a person at the desk 24/7. Which was also appreciated since our uber was coming at 3AM to get us to the airport. Complimentary breakfast. Our daughter said it was "decent", but my husband & I were gone by the time it opened. coffee & tea available in a nice sized lobby 24/7. very much appreciated thing since we were leaving at 3AM! Vending machines also available with sodas, juices & water. (Pricey, but at least available!) pricing was good as well.

It was also an easy drive from Rockridge (where we had dinner) and conveniently located right on Webster. Negatives - None +/- - Check in was a little slow due to a short line and a lot of chatter ahead of me. - Just OK shower pressure with long water warm-up. Positives - Convenient Parking in what seemed like a safe neighborhood. - Decent free hot breakfast. - Clean and comfortable room, with separate sleeping and Livingroom areas.

I've never had such a horrible experience at any hotel and given that this horrible experience was…read morecontributed by the main manager at the hotel (Dora Munoz) is outrageous and completely unprofessional. I stayed at this hotel for a few months and during this time Ms. Munoz made it a very uncomfortable stay. On multiple occasions Ms. Munoz refused to assist me but would happily assist anyone else right in front of me. On our last encounter I was downstairs requesting for my room key to be fixed, she took my keys away from me and refused to return them even after I told her I had medication to take. She further threatened to call cops on me for "disturbance" even though I was very respectful and civil the whole time and have videos to prove it. She then went further and called my landlord who is the one that booked the place for me and told my landlord I was downstairs acting crazy and being an issue. When I asked her why is she acting like this towards me she replied "because I'm the manager and I didn't add your name on the list for approved stay". Due to her lies and deformation I am not at risk of my landlord evicting me. All of this done for what ? If not discrimination and racism what else could it be ? I reached out to corporate and still await a response because Ms. Munoz need to be held accountable. If you are planing to stay here just be wary of Dora Munoz because with her it's her way or the highway.

I was originally put in a room type that I did not book, then moved to the one I booked on the last day of my stay, and both rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The staff here is somewhat friendly, but the facilities are awful. The beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable, and the bed frame is a cheap metal one that you can get on Amazon for $40. They also let unhoused people hang out in front of the hotel and roam around the parking lot. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

2.5 We stayed here…read morefor about a week this summer and it was ok. It was pretty cheap, plenty of parking in their private lot, and I liked that there was a kitchenette in our room and you could borrow pots and pans from the front desk. We really only needed the room to sleep so it wasn't absolutely horrible. However, it's severely outdated. The floors a very uneven and need redone, the balcony patio we had I wouldn't let my kids out on because the railing would have probably collapsed if you put weight against it. The patio lock was also extremely outdated and worn (it was a screw one but the thing was so worn it wouldn't have taken much for someone to break in). The internet was also not great, which led to a lot of frustration for our kids and we ended up just using our hotspot. It was clean but also extremely musty smelling. There wasn't mold or dirt everywhere but it definitely needs an overhaul and a lot of TLC from redoing the floors, to updating everything. Would I stay here again? Yes if we had to. Since it is cheap and we don't use our room when we go places for more than a place to sleep I wouldn't be opposed, but I'd also try to find somewhere better before I made a reservation here again. I did like that across the road there was a shopping center and Safeway so it was easy to grab snacks/groceries if we needed.

The pool was closed for "health concerns"my entire stay. The continental breakfast made me puke literally. (Don't eat it. I think it's the cereal FYI.) The noise was horrible. There were people screaming and shouting in the courtyard all day and all night and kids crying. The decor is old outdated and half of it is missing.. literally picture hangers on the wall with no pictures. Knobs missing on cabinets, light bulbs out or lamps broken and not working, closet doors off the track, mysterious crusty things on the walls. The deck facing the water is decaying and possibly unsafe in the room we were in. The oven was disgusting. The linens looked clean, but the mattress was stained with brown who-knows- what, as well as the mattress pads. (I got a different room after finding that). Mattress was better in the second room, at least it didn't smell like dogs and cigarette smoke like the other room, but it was pretty awful. There was a broken lamp shade and a shattered small window in the kitchen. The coffee pot didn't work, dirty carpets, dirty furniture, ripped curtains, Very loud. I tried to get my money back through Booking.com and they would not do it. The front desk would not refund me either because I had a nonrefundable reservation. And I couldn't afford to throw away almost $300 and go stay in another spot so I decided to endure it. I switched my room on my third night because of the noise in the courtyard and got an upper level facing the street. There, the curtains were too short to close across the large front window and I could hear mice or rats scuffling around in the ceiling fan that didn't have a vent on it. It was cold that night and the heater did not work. I used to come here a long time ago because I grew up in this town, and it was pretty bad then, (but still the most affordable option and close to the beach) and it has went way way downhill since then. To make matters even worse, I left one of my favorite zipper hoodies behind in one of the rooms and the housekeeping department did not turn it in. My advice, do everything you can to stay away from this creepy and crawly motel. Stay at Hampton Inn and pay more .
