The toilet was new and the shower head was excellent. The receptionist was very friendly as well. The outside could use some improvement.

From our very first email, Maddie stood out as the most personable, welcoming, and attentive venue coordinator we met during our search. Hachland Hill is a small, family-run business in all the best ways, with owners and staff who genuinely care about helping you create your dream day. The natural beauty of the venue allowed us to keep decorations to a minimum, which helped keep our budget manageable. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the property, and the valley setting even protected us from the stronger winds and rain that passed through on our wedding day. The staff thoughtfully brought out heaters at the last minute without us even needing to ask. And the food--you have to experience it. Carter is incredibly talented and intentional in everything he does. Months later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the brisket was. We also had our closest family and friends stay on-site, which added so much excitement and connection to the wedding weekend. It gave our guests a chance to experience a different side of Nashville while creating unforgettable memories together. This venue truly checks every box. Every time we drove onto the property, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and peace. If you have questions and would like to hear more about our experience, Maddie can provide our contact information. We're already looking forward to future date nights back at Hachland Hill! I took off the bedspread and blanket off the beds. I was afraid of getting bed bugs or anything on me, so I threw them on the floor. I checked out. I waited for my Uber in fron5 of my room as i had alot of luggage. They started working in the room and I watched the use the same bedspread and blanket I threw on the floor. The room was nonsmoking, but you can smell how it use to be a smoking room. The headboard still has multiple hand prints you could see. Omg, its so gross. I regretfully stayed one night. Don't believe what's posted on this website. The owner is rude as well. Don't know how they havent been shut down yet. Just don't EVER stay here. You're better off sleeping outside, it's cleaner.

After looking online and seeing 4 rooms left, my fiance called back and asked about why there were rooms available online. The associate responded that he hadn't updated it yet but to book a room online if we really want one. My fiance asked why should we do that if we were told there aren't any rooms. Mike responded, that's my problem not yours and hung up. So rude. We will never ever go here and do not reccomend this place at all.

Breakfast was very good also with eggs, bacon, home fries, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, etc. However the hotel feels dated even though my room had undergone a partial renovation with the bathroom and flooring. On the third day of our planned four-day stay, the hotel owner decided he had the "right" to enter our room while we were sleeping and despite a 'Do Not Disturb' tag hanging on our room's door. The only thing that prevented the door from fully opening was the interior safety door latch. I immediately jumped up to see who was trying to enter our room and met the hotel owner and his entire entourage. The reason given - to measure for new curtains. After I gave him and the rest of his team an earful, I started packing and we checked out and left that same day. The front-desk manager even told me that everyone warned the owner not to proceed with his plans. We had to scramble to find another hotel since we had prepaid plans for an event that same evening. After our trip was completed, I made NUMEROUS calls and even sent an email to the hotel's General Manager and never heard from anyone. In fact, the front desk staff did NOTHING to put me in touch with the General Manager and told me to keep leaving voicemails - which all fell on deaf ears. I eventually took my complaints to Hilton Corporate Executive Guest Relations. They weren't much better. They seemed to force the hotel's hand in making them send me a form apology letter. The letter did not address any of my complaints or requests and was very insincere. In the end, the hotel did refund back one night of my stay and after three weeks of working with Hilton Corp via email, they will be refunding via a mailed check for another night. The token refund by Hilton is, in my opinion, too little too late. Meaning, I had to FIGHT for everything from Hilton Corp and to this day I have yet to hear anything from the hotel owner or the General Manager. Here is the takeaway. In my opinion and experience, Hilton Corp is nothing more than a money front, a toothless tiger. Their loyalty lies with their properties and not with their guests. I say that because if they truly cared about what happened to one of their guests, then all of this would have been handled much differently and much better and not have required me to go back and forth with a Corp POC for 15 days and be told that this rule was followed and this situation does not apply due to this policy. Instead, be like Sears used to be - 'Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back'. In my case, I never received the satisfaction I expected from a very wrong action by the hotel owner and his staff. Another word to the wise. Today's hotels all sport the famous business names that we all know, but keep in mind they are all independently owned and operated. With that being the case, if you have a problem and cannot get it resolved by the hotel leadership (or in my case the problem was caused by the hotel leadership), then you will have to fight with their "Corporate" people and perhaps receive the same disappointment that I have experienced. Truly sad to see our country's businesses being bought by people who do not support and believe in the American values that we all have grown up in and come to expect. Instead, we are all just a dollar amount and no one really cares what you go through or don't get as a result of an illegal room entry or other caused infraction. For me, I will NEVER stay at another Hilton-branded hotel EVER again. Not worth the potential heartache and fruitless fight.
