This hotel served perfectly as a convent place to stop for a night traveling home right off of I-40. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and reasonably priced, with great service and a good breakfast as well. While not huge, I did notice some wear and tear in the room, especially the bathroom, but nothing major. Overall, definitely recommend this property if you're coming to Dickson, or tired on I-40 like myself. read more

Staff were nice and courteous but hotel smelled musty. Room was clean but smelled damp and there appeared to be mold in the shower ceiling.

If you have the pleasure of staying in Dickson, TN, this is a good place to stay! I've read the other reviews and they didn't match my experience. The room and hotel are well maintained. Good quality bedding, towels and furniture! Bathroom was clean. Parking is tight if the place is full and it was while there. The staff were very helpful and friendly! Disgusting! Lady bugs daily in my room. I moved rooms 3 times during my stay. They claim there is nothing they can do about the bugs as they are coming in through the wall heater. Sleeping at night was stressful as the bugs were flying above my head. The staff will come vacuum the bugs but then more come in within a few minutes. The bug juice is on the desks and walls from people killing bugs. The hotel is infested with bugs. 20-30 bugs a day. The staff said the bugs are worse on the 4th floor. The showers in all three rooms had pink and black mold. They cleaned the spots but they didn't clean them well. The glass doors were not clear and they were moldy at the bottom which they claimed was normal. Don't stay in a room on the freeway side, you won't be able to sleep from the noise. The free breakfast was okay but I worried about eating it given the lack of cleanliness in my room and the bugs seem to be everywhere. This is a hotel that is not up to Marriott standards but more importantly is unhealthy for anyone who stays here. read more

I'll start my review by saying that the customer service was top tier. They were extremely nice and helpful. However the first room we were assigned had a massive bug infestation. No problem they switched the rooms and upgraded us which was nice. The second room however was not up to marriot standards. the bathroom was disguising. It had pink bacteria along the seal of the shower, Pubic hairs in the shower and on the counters / floor. Weird streaks of substance in the shower. Just not what i expected from a marriot but maybe a motel. Just all around nasty. I complained to their customer service and have not received compensation or really any substantial response for a week. This is just disappointing. The motel appeared clean however, our guest room had a serious fly infestation. While in bed and trying to sleep, flies were landing on our faces throughout the night. They were also in the bathroom. When we complained to the gentleman at the front desk upon checkout he was unsympathetic, though we showed him pictures of the flies (see photos). After our insistence that he make some adjustment in the room rate he refunded $10. There was a lot of rust at the bottom of the shower glass (see photos). Breakfast was not up to the level of other Fairfield Inns we stay at. read more

Had a very comfortable stay! No loud neighbors and Philip at the front desk was very accommodating for my disabled mother and I. So polite and made sure we were good! I'd definitely stay here again! Can't wait to try the breakfast! They even had cookies and fresh ice water at the counter when we checked in! read more

Bedbugs. When we entered the room, the tv was on and the beds were made but untidily like maybe the sheets weren't recently washed. I probably should have checked more thoroughly, but this was already our second choice after finding ants in the bed at a different hotel in Dickson. We needed a one night stay near but not in Nashville before heading into town the next day. Must be the Nashville effect because this Fairfield Inn an hour west was surprisingly expensive for what you get. I booked this months ago before post Covid travel exploded. Not sure it was worth the price (even with the AAA discount)! Did get an upgraded room as a gold member when I asked at check-in. The upgraded room had almost no view since it looked at the back of the entrance canopy. No big loss since it looks out onto I-40. The room was typical for this brand though the bathroom was newer and nicer. The fridge and microwave are a plus. The hot breakfast is back but just ok. Guessing covid cost cutting is here to stay. His personality made the process fun. My room was clean and cold. Perfect after a hot day of driving. I've stayed here several times for work, and each time it seems to get progressively worse. It's not as well-taken care of as I thought on my first visit. There's black mold in the showers. The rooms are pretty run down. My recent room had stains on the carpet and bedding. The room has the smell of smoke in it. The staff who check me in was friendly though. read more

The staff here is fantastic...no complaints there! Our room however was gross. The sheets were threadbare, there was mold in the shower, a hole in the bathroom wall, peeling paint, and the 'king-sized' bed was not a king, it was an Olympic queen. We have been Marriott platinum members for years and have a certain expectation when staying at a Marriott property, needless to say this hotel did not meet our expectation at all. The location is close to where I came into town for. The lobby was very nice when. Pretty much the same as the one I stayed at in Orlando. When I go to my room I was surprised that there was no sofa. There was three of us and it would have been nice to have the option of the sofa bed. When I called to the front desk she informed me only the king suites are the only ones that have sofa beds. The site states under general room sofa bed. Although I was disappointed and mislead by the website the room was clean the staff was friendly. Further more there breakfast was really good. They have waffles you can make yourself. An assortment of yogurt, cereals, and hot items like bacon and oatmeal. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want something outside of Nashville. read more

Me and my sister stay at this motel and we were treated extra special from the staff. We became very close friends with these people. They are very special group of staff . Me and my sister were there because we had to put our mother in hospices care. These people that im naming are the special people in our hearts. Stacy, Kelly, Kaylor, Kyle Philip. These ladies and men made us happy eventide they saw us. They went over and beyond their jobs to make sure that we were okay. Me and my sister feel that you staff should get the highest rating that you can give because these people are wonderful. The place is very clean all the time if you need something they will get it for you no questions asked. We can't say enough about you staff. Our first room smelled like smoke for a non-smoking hotel our first suite holy cow the smell of smoke hit you like ton of bricks! So they were quick to move us to a second room I know when we made the reservation we asked for a handicap accessible I am handicapped impaired I cannot stand in the shower and I cannot lift my legs to get into the bathtub so they do they give us a bathtub even though we told them and they saw that he came in in a wheelchair that I cannot move my legs I guess a bathtub this hotel is not that great! They just don't get it better doesn't work so I'm stuck with a bathtub with no way of taking a shower isn't that great aggravated beyond belief and we're here for a week we'll see what tomorrow brings! Just be careful they don't give you what you pay for or what you make reservations for so be careful at this hotel don't know if we'll be staying not very happy here! read more

Checked in on Friday afternoon for two nights. Friday night wedding rehearsal dinner (at the hotel), Saturday afternoon wedding at a local venue. At check in they didn't remember my service animal and acted like I was a criminal for bringing her. Signs posted everywhere about a this being a "smoke-free" hotel. Our room reeked of stale smoke to the point that our clothes absorbed the smell. I informed the desk at check-in that I would not be paying a smoking assessment at checkout. They didn't seem concerned or offer to come up for confirmation. The toilet had not been flushed, short curly hairs in the bathroom sink and on the counters. The front desk made no reply when I mentioned these discrepancies. The common areas are well-worn (especially the heat damaged light fixtures). The meeting room was pleasant and the breakfast area and breakfast fare were nice especially during the pandemic. We paid for two nights but couldn't bring ourselves to sleep in the stink for a second night. We left for home and slept in a nice clean room/bed. I emailed Marriot, haven't heard a word. The appear as concerned as the front desk. I guess the front desk is complying with corporate protocol. read more

Perfect stay! We came from Texas for a Family Reunion. We were greeted and Checked in by Phillip. He was so kind and helpful! We enjoyed the pool and free breakfast. When checking out, I can not remember the name of the gentleman but he was very kind and helpful as well! I would recommend this hotel and stay here again if I ever come back to Tennessee. read more

Hotel was clean the rooms were comfortable but had the worst night sleep in memory. There was a door that was slamming all night long from the roof top ( I was on the top floor so I knew it was coming from the roof)....when I questioned the front desk lady in the morning what the issue was she told me they had found the problem earlier and she was aware of the issue... a loose A/C door that was banging in the wind. When the GM "Ricky" came to the desk he acted as though he didn't know what was going on or what the issue was but his own employee said he knew there was an issue. Sometimes good customer service far outweighs the frills... I no longer trust management here and though I travel 200 days a year and and very often to this area I will never return to this hotel again. read more

Loved our stay here! We were on a road trip and stayed here pretty much to rest, and the accommodations were so comfortable! Nice sized rooms, modern amenities, and friendly staff! We had to leave early so we didn't get to eat their complimentary hot breakfast, but there were some cold items (yogurt, cereals, fruits, bread) that they provided to us to have before heading back out on the road. Wow, what a beautiful hotel!! It's a little over a year old and it is spotless, welcoming and a great hotel to stay. Sam checked us in and welcomed us to area. We needed a quick lunch recommendation and she suggested House of Brews and gave us great directions as well. We met the GM as well. Very friendly and proud of his hotel and staff. Nice to see! Breakfast the next morning was great as well. Clean, lots of selections from hot food to yogurts and fruits to breakfast breads to good hot coffee. The young men doing housekeeping on our floor also stopped and said hello to us. Great job Dickson Fairfield Inn!! read more
