The folks running the place have always been courteous / professional and when I check the prices for large weights and amounts they are competitive. If you ever want to see where all the broken and old stuff goes stop in here -like I do with my weekly aluminum cans- and you'll see neatly organized things, some of which I have no idea what they are or where they come from. Traffic is not an issue as they are not on the main drag, so getting in and out is pretty easy. They have 3 or 4 bays and someone is usually helpful loading and unloading my recyclables so I don't waste a lot of time. The thing I like the MOST if rather than taking it to the dump I get a few dollars in my pocket and feel like I am doing my part.

(A clue that the vehicle is rented is obvious markings like a U-Haul cargo van or out-of-state licence plates.) Still not bad; most I paid so far is $11. Also, DIY junk removal is a lot cheaper than the junk removal services. The catch is you got to provide your own time & muscle power.

One truck cut out from a gas station in front of us, then stopped unexpectedly at a through intersection. The other truck turned in behind us and maintained a following distance of literally a few feet. That driver nearly rear-ended us at a stop sign, then again as I was turning left on completely snow covered roads. Then he had the gall to honk and gesture as he fishtailed on past. That has entailed a need to get rid of everything from an old big screen tv, mattresses, a sofa that weighed a metric ton, to miscellaneous things like scrap metal, rotted wood, old clothes, and enough dead leaves for a lifetime. I was shocked at the amount of actual "junk" we allowed ourselves to build up without brainstorming letting the professionals remove it, prior to now. I'm so glad we did though, because Junk Unlimited did the heavy lifting that would've taken us days, in a matter of a couple hours. Best of all, is that when I tried to be nosey (hehe) and find out where they dispose of people's junk, I was advised clothes and things of that nature are typically donated and that metals, old appliances, and things of that nature get recycled. Look at me being green with my dear old junk, LOL. When I reached out to Junk Unlimited, I was so pleased with their prompt response time, reasonable pricing, flexible hours including early mornings / weekends / evenings, and my overall customer experience. Then on the day of doing our junk removal, the Junk Unlimited team was so friendly and professional. They stayed on task with what we needed them to do and all the guys were very handsome *cough cough I meant polite, in case you're reading this, Husband LOL. They were literally in and out in no time and ready to head to their next gig, but I wanted to extend them some lunch I'd ordered for a job well done, before they left. The owner mentioned that they practice a standard of being early for their jobs, as what they consider to be on time so they couldn't sit to eat but after I insisted, they at least accepted to-go boxes I forced them out the door with. I can't say enough great things about Ralph and his team and would not hesitate to use Junk Unlimited's services again in the future.

To preface, I never leave bad reviews, usually just shrug it off, but this experience made my blood boil. They ruined my furniture, and I contacted the owner (Rodney) to report it. He had the audacity to flip it on me stating that I ruined my furniture, not his company. He undermined my concerns and completely brushed it off. Acted as though he couldn't be bothered. What a grand way to run a business. He asked, "I guess a better question is how do you know the movers who brought this to the storage unit (before his guys) didn't damage the furniture?" I said, "Because I moved them the first time and they were not ruined." He then proceeded to say "If you never took the blankets off to inspect in storage how could you be SO sure they weren't damaged?" EXCUSE ME. Because it's my furniture and I pay attention. My belongings weren't damaged by me, and they know it. To top it all off, they're not on the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint - how convenient... not. They take your money and will do anything in their power to 1. not take the blame, and 2. not give you the money you deserve back. I beg people not to use this company; the management is despicable.
