This was arguably one step better than taco bell (I may prefer taco bell), and irrefutable two steps below a Mexican place that serves booze, which Rodolfos does not. Booooo! The beef tasted like shrimp, they need to separate them mf'ers! The enchilada sauce was red! And this came with uncle ben's 5 minute rice. The portions were monstrous though. I got two meals for about 13$, but failed to finish one. The burrito was the size of a brick. I will say the guys that work there were friendly, had a nice conversation with the cashier. I have been to this joint multiple times and almost every single time, I ask for a burrito without cheese, and every single time they give me one with cheese. I lived in Southern California for ten years and this is the closest to the type of Taqueria I grew accustomed to while living there. I asked (en Español) where they are from and they are a remote location of a chain of Rodolfo's in San Diego, CA. They ship their tortillas from there. Some customers may be taken back by the location (a former Kentucky Fried Chicken), the low budget signage, and styrofoam containers, but don't be fooled the food is outstanding. Pregunte algun hispano alla como le piense sobre la comida - Ask any hispanic there what they think of the food. My husband and I just moved here from Colorado and we had a restaurant called Taco Star, we were very sad that we would no longer have that place as an option because it by far outweighed any other "mexican food" out there! Open 24 hours a day, Rodolfos is built into what was once a old KFC. They have an awesome variety of mexican food. This is just delicious tacobell destroying mexican fast food, not fine dining. My favorites are the massive breakfast burrito and the steak nachos with guacamole and sour cream are a meal all on their own. They also have made in mexico glass bottled coke. I really don't like coke, but "hecho en mexico" coke is actually an old fashioned taste from your childhood that goes well with their food. One of my favorite things is coming in late at night before work and seeing them unloading all the beautiful produce from the truck. The other favorite thing is that from the counter you can see the entire kitchen, how clean it is, and how hard they are working in the back while they make your food. read more

Rodolfo's is great for a fast and economical mexican meal. They are open 24 hours, which is a real plus for Cheyenne! Especially since not many places are open past 2am. They have great enchilladas and I love their carne asada quesadillas. They also have great churros! They have a drive thru and seating indoors. Yum! My boyfriend and I tried Rudolfo's after a friend suggested it to us. The price is perfect. For about $5 you get an entire restaurant sized meal beans, rice, the works! My boyfriend got the tamales which we both agreed were delish! I got the enchiladas, which were good as well. Are you looking for some greasy traditional Tex-Mex at 2AM after a night of drinking? Then this is your place. Rodolfo's Mexican Grill is located about a half-mile east of the downtown Cheyenne area. It is a 24 hour fast food joint so the atmosphere is as expected- but generally clean. They have a small salsa bar that contains both the "Red" and "Green" sauce as well as some other garnishes such as pickled peppers and carrots. Not too much to look at but the staff is friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way to help you with your order. I think most people use the Drive-Thru, but just in case. The food is good for what it is. It's fatty, cheesy, and stuffed into a handmade tortilla. This place definitely reminds me of taco stands, etc. in Southern California. You've been to one place, you've been to them all. The tacos are excellent and prepared traditionally with several different kinds of meat available (ground beef, pork, shredded beef, as well as "Lengua"; which is tongue...don't be afraid...try it.). The burritos are "Mission style"- which basically means they're huge. I think the most popular menu item is the California Burrito which is a meat of your choice, the rest of the burrito fixin's (cheese, rice, beans, etc.) and then a couple hand-fulls of crispy french fries. This will indeed fix a hangover. There are other standard Mexican items on the menu: enchiladas, tamales, carnitas, you name it and it's Mexican fast food- they've got it. They also serve "Mexican Coke" as another poster previously mentioned, along with bottled Jarrito's soda (a Mexican soft-drink available in several flavors) and they have Horchata on tap. If you've never had Horchata, this is the way to do it. Think cold Cinnamon Toast Crunch-leavin's milk. The also serve breakfast; which I heard is good. Bottom line- this place isn't classy, it doesn't need to be. The food is good, the prices are good and it's a life saver when nothing else is open. read more

On Dec. 31st I ordered 2 burritos at the drive thru, paid $11, after 10 minutes (and getting to be late for work), I was handed one burrito and the guy disappears. Won't come back to the window. I go in there, ask where's my other burrito and only get a shrug of the shoulders. I put whatever was in the sack on the counter and asked for my money back.
