Roy T!!! You are the man!…read more I was searching for a C300 with specific features and found one 3 hours away. Roy and I handled all negotiations over phone, text, and email before I made the trip. When I purchased, there were no surprise fees or charges. What I really appreciated was being treated as an equal by Roy as well as the entire dealership. There are plenty of times where professionals will discuss with my husband even though I am the ultimate decision maker for my car. Minor details that could've been a hassle if it wasn't for Roy's communication, follow-through, and general professionalism: - The C300 had a few small paint chips from normal wear and tear. - The spoiler wasn't attached properly Solutions: Roy said he'd mail over a touch-up kit, and he did. He also advised me to take it to my local Mercedes dealership for warranty repair (I didnt have the time to wait for the service to be done same-day at Ed Hicks). I followed up with my local dealership and like roy said, it was covered under warranty and everything went smoothly. The whole experience was easy, honest, and pleasant. I'm planning to buy future cars from Roy

Do not recommend spending money here and if you do don't give your business to Steven. Talked to…read morehim first thing in the morning and made him well aware we were looking for a pre owned vehicle and were just going to test drive cars and check it out in person. When we arrive for our scheduled appointment instead of showing us the car and having a conversation he immediately asks " are you here to test drive and buy elsewhere". Truth is he knew the appointment was to look at the vehicle, but because we didn't agree to buy the car in 5 minutes he didn't show us any vehicles, didn't test drive anything and wasted my time. A dealership is for test driving vehicles and checking out vehicles, not forcing sales in the first 5 minutes. Steven was unprofessional, very unhelpful, and had commission breath.

Bought a Kia several years back here, in for oil change this am. I have always found the service…read moredepartment friendly and courteous. Hate to spend my Saturday on an oil change but if you have too, they have a clean cool waiting room with feee coffee and cookies so it make a it a better experience. Our vehicle purchase was also one of the few new car buying experiences I have had. Sales staff was also very friendly up front and helpful. I highly recommend.

I am being giving the run around by the Kia Service Advisor E.J. I have a 2024 Kia Sportage that…read morehas a problem with the torque converter and has an engine shudder, WHICH IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. I called the service advisor twice on Friday 8/7 and I never received a return phone call. I followed up with the main number and requested that EJ return my call as I had left two messages previously. NOTHING! So Monday 8/10 I went into the service dept and requested that I needed service on the vehicle and a courtesy car. I also requested why my phone calls where never returned and I guess the explanation was a Meet and Greet with the teacher, well as a retired teacher I know those don't take all day with one parent! Lame My car is under warranty and this should be fixed ASAP to avoid creating further problems with the engine and transmission. We are business owners and I cannot afford to be without a car for however long it takes for Mike Shaw Kia Corpus Christi to fix the problem. I have asked for a courtesy car while my vehicle is in for warranty work and was told there were none available and they do not have any idea when one will be available! I would think a service manger would be in touch with what maintenance repairs are in house and be able ascertain when repairs are due to be completed and a courtesy vehicle available. I was also told if I go ahead and rent a car, Kia would not cover the cost until they are able to diagnose the problem...possibly 3 days or so. I am not stupid they will diagnose the problem asap (based on my explanation) and have the car fixed by the time they state they have just completed the diagnosis and I am out rental costs on a warranty issue. I get the picture I am not stupid! This is dishonest and unethical! How is it my responsibility to take care of organizing a courtesy vehicle or rental car, they should have courtesy cars available to deal with warranty work like BMW or Mercedes dealerships! Maybe offer one of their demo vehicles while my vehicle is in the shop! This known problem that originates with Kia should not inconvenience me as a vehicle owner!!!! It's a warranty issue! Can I say RECALL OR LEMON LAWS APPLY HERE!! I am really aggravated by the cavalier way the service advisor is treating me and blatantly lying to my face! Not what I would expect from a service professional, purported to providing a customer-oriented service experience. That's definitely not my experience and that will definitely influence my next vehicle purchase!

I did not purchase a Subaru from this dealership, but I did research which dealership in Texas…read moregives the most fair and honest extended Subaru Warranty pricing. After dealing with my local dealership trying to get a fair price for the Subaru 10 year / 100K mile Gold Plus extended warrant I contacted Kelly O'Brien @ Hicks Family Subaru. He responded quickly and beat my local dealerships pricing by $500.00 . This was after my local dealership gave me " the rock bottom price " and " We're not making any money on this " per my local dealership. I want to thank Kelly O'Brien for being honest and fair on the pricing and I appreciated this greatly. If this dealerships sales and service team are as fair and honest as their finance department you can't go wrong buying a Subaru from Hicks Family Subaru. 5 stars and that says a lot when it comes to reviewing car dealerships. Thank you.

My wife and I visited Hicks Family Subaru on Monday, March 16, 2026. No one greeted me or my wife…read more No sales person on the floor. Plenty of people millng around, including customers who were there for service, along with employees who wouldn't make eye contact or say "Hi" as they swiftly walked by us on either the upper level floor or lower level of the showroom/service area. We got tired of standing around by ourselves, so I walked up to the only vehicle on the floor. I began to examine it as obviously as possible. I opened and closed doors and stood looking at the stuff under the liftgate. I bent over and looked deep inside to examine the glove compartment, the center armrest and the other aspects of the interior... still "nadda." They don't look as throughly at cars that cross the border as I did at this floor model. I walked over to the reception desk, the girl sitting behind it looked up with a blank expression and flatly asked if I wanted something. No greeting, no "Hi, welcome to... " I smiled and asked somewhat lighthearted (and perhaps a little sarcastically) if they sell cars here. She replied, "Yes, both new and used." Long pause... long lingering pause.... before I had to actually request to see a sales person, of which she admitted she had no idea where any of them were. She picked up her phone and made a request for a salesperson to come to the showroom. We waited... and waited... and waited even longer before turning around and looking to my wife. We'd had enough, and I announced (rather loudly) that we were leaving. No apologies from her, no effort to stop me or offer any assistance. My last words before exiting were, "I can't believe nobody wants to sell me a car here." We stopped on the lot for an obvious moment, and peered through the windows into several cars on the lot as we headed back to our car. No one came out there, aside from us. Guess which Subaru "Family" Dealership won't get our business in Corpus Christi, Hicks Family Subaru.
