Be ready to wait for few mins though as he is busy on phone sometime with other customers. He provided us both repair and replacement cost and gave us pros and cons of both. Didn't force to go for replacement, like some shops do. The repairs itself was very quick, took around 10 mins, it was done by Jason. He explained the process very calmly and answered all of our questions. The owner trusted his guys with repair and only came to see afterwards. Turns out my battery was near death so when they needed to pull it into the stall to start the work it barely started. There's an auto parts store a few blocks away but no way I'd be able to carry a heavy battery there and back in the heat. I called them to see if they'd deliver it for me since it was less than a 5min drive but they refused since I wasn't a commercial account. Well, LPAG to the rescue! They called their contact over there, had the battery delivered, installed it for me, wrapped the cost into my overall bill, and even did a beautiful job on my car's windshield. The best! And to top it off they got the battery at commercial price, saving me over $50, and took care of the core return! Unreal. (Please don't expect them to do any more than windshield work for you - this is meant only to show their good character and willingness to help to me!) The chipping on my windshield is a quite old one but now at least shielded from growing. I got to see that there's limitation for the oldness of chipping. Called after not hearing anything and got in touch with someone and got all the details of cost, etc. I told them I call them right back about scheduling. I needed to work with my partner for someone to be home when they showed. Then it was pretty hard to get back in touch with them. Took a few calls. I would honestly would knock a star because of this. However, when I finally got in touch with someone they said they had a family member pass. It is the year of COVID. I get it. Life is too dang hard at the moment and a windshield is nothing compared to death. Got something scheduled. The day of someone called and said his guys were going to stop for breakfast in Oak Hill and then head my way. Two hours later they showed. Again not really cool to take two hours for breakfast. Obviously, they either were far away (Oak Hill is about 15 minutes from me) or did something else. Usually wouldn't be a big deal but we had somewhere to be and needed time to get there. Bad on us for scheduling something three hours post a scheduled time to meet. The two guys that came out were professional and fast. I guess they did a good job as the windshield is in place and hasn't fallen out. They moved the toll and inspection sticker for me. $400ish seems high but when I called around it was about the same price and they come to you. Things cost more than you ever think they should. Overall I would have them improve their communication. Then again maybe I caught them at a bad time. Either way I have a new windshield and didn't have to go anywhere to get it. Do note you can't move the car for about 90 minutes post installing a new windshield. Thankfully, we have multiple cars to drive to our appointment.
