Bob was perfectly kind, clearly knowledgeable about taxes, and skilled at his trade. He handled my appointment with ease and I felt comfortable with him. The big issue I experienced is that my taxes weren't filed!!! I had my appointment in early February and at that time, I provided all the documents Bob needed. He said the taxes would be filed within a week. By late March, I still had not received my refund so I reached out to Bob to verify the taxes were filed. I did not get a response. By early April, I reached out again and spoke with Bob's secretary/receptionist/assistant. She grilled me fairly aggressively with questions like "did Bob need more documentation for me" (no) and "had I checked the IRS website yet" (yes). She then put me on hold and came back a few minutes later with a much different demeanor. She said they had experienced some software glitches and that my taxes had not been filed yet. Please note this was EIGHT weeks after my initial appointment. I asked the receptionist what would have happened if I didn't call to check in. She said she checks periodically and would have caught it. I'm sorry, but that feels like a lie. It's been 8 weeks and we are in the middle of tax season. The deadline to file and pay is less than two weeks away. At what point are you going to "periodically" run across my unfiled taxes and take care of it? Balls were dropped on their end, whether it was truly a software glitch or a mistake made by Bob or his receptionist. Things were not handled properly on their side and if they're unable to file in a timely manner, I'm not sure I trust them to handle my sensitive personal information. I did not appreciate the attitude from the receptionist and don't feel that she's a good representative for Bob. He was kind and helpful at my appointment, but she was aggressive and rude over the phone. I'm especially frustrated because I was due an AZ State refund but owed federal taxes. My plan was to use the state refund to cover what I owe the feds. Because the deadline to pay is ten days away now, and my taxes were just *barely* filed yesterday so that state refund will not be here in time to cover my federal payment. Please note that I waited to post my review until everything was filed and processed completely because I didn't want any interference or complications. I rate my interaction with Bob during my appointment 5/5 stars, my interaction with his receptionist 1/5 stars, and the overall experience 1/5 stars. Super disappointed in the overall experience.

If you are busy individual and do not answer your emails right away and they have to send you more than one they will charge you for their time as an extra cost. When I switched from them, I paid a quarter of what they were charging me to get my taxes done. Not only do they take months and months and months to get an individuals taxes done but they also charge five times more than anyone else. They do not know what Customer Service is nor do they care to even be nice. If you want severely overpriced, and have it take four months or more to get your taxes done and an incredibly rude tax service, this is the place for you. The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life.

I have reported it to Yelp and will now be including it in our lawsuit as it is retaliatory, misleading, damaging, false as he was never our client and defamation/slander. Further defining his horrible tactics and bullying measures and lack of accountability! We hired and paid Jeremy to file an extension, prepare, and submit our taxes by the deadline. We finalized everything on time, paid our Arizona taxes in full on 10/15 as directed, and even tipped him -- trusting the job was done. Weeks later, we got hit with over $1,000 in IRS penalties, and Arizona fined us too. After calling the IRS, we learned our return wasn't filed until well after the deadline -- with zero notice. When confronted, he deflected, blamed unrelated things, and only admitted the truth after we pushed -- still without taking responsibility. It felt like he exploited our trust and tried to spin the situation to avoid owning his failure. This wasn't just a mistake. It was a complete disregard for responsibility and professionalism. Anyone who lies by omission and shifts blame shouldn't be handling anyone's taxes. We absolutely do not recommend him. Trust is everything, and he lost ours completely.
