I have had a few of the wax specialists there and everyone has been very very nice and professional. They are understanding of last minute cancellations and are very accommodating to you schedule. They have products that they sell there as well, but I've never felt pressured to buy more than what I need from them. In fact, on my first time in the wax specialist told me that the length of hair was not long enough to wax and that the treatment would be uneven, so she rescheduled me for a week later instead of just doing the wax just because I was there. The store is clean and each room is private with a door that fully closes from top to bottoms. Their rooms aren't like stalls that could potentially make you feel uncomfortable. I would recommend this place to others, and I will continue to go back as well.

We were staying at the hotel so I had a massage on Friday and a facial on Saturday. The prices are extremely reasonable for the level of service provided. The facial included the bells and whistles that some spas don't provide. If you have experienced a facial where they put a mask on then leave you in the room for 20 minutes only to come back wipe off the cleanser and send you on your way- come to Toni for a facial that includes treatment on your feet, arms and shoulder massage and a facial that leaves your skin glowing! I had to Google "Ataraxis" to find out the meaning-"the absence of stress or anxiety; serenity". Exactly the state I left in! Hope you are fortunate enough to experience the same.

The waxing room is at the back, oddly shaped but a decent size and pretty typical. Rebecca (don't quote me on that name) was my waxer, she is very soothing and nice and likes to incorporate crowd participation. She has you pull back your skin as she yanks, she thinks having some control of the process makes it less painful. Let's be honest, you're ripping all the hairs out of my lady pocket, nothing short of full blown anesthesia is going to make this go any better for me. She is quick and pleasant and even did a clean up with tweezers at the end. I was happy. Until I got the mirror and got real personal with myself. I didn't just pay 80 american dollars for you to not do everything. A Brazilian is not just a glorified bikini waxing, it is supposed to leave me bald as Telly Savalas. This one didn't. I've had cheaper, better, and more complete waxes everywhere else I've been. Lesson learned, make my appointment far enough in advance that I can go to my first choice (MC Hair in Cuyahoga Falls) rather than jumping on this. Let me reiterate, for what she waxed she was thorough, but neglecting to wax everything is not going to work for me.

My daughter went to Samone and was overall unhappy with the results of her color. The cost for the partial highlight and cut with tip came to $168. I consulted my own hairstylist as well as another and asked how to handle the situation. I was told, "Hairstylists typically want the opportunity to fix their work." We scheduled with Samone again the very next business day and my daughter explained that her hair was not what she wanted and asked her to fix it. She did ask for an additional service to be done, which she was prepared to pay for. When she was finished, my daughter was charged an additional $130. She asked, "You're charging me to fix the highlights? You didn't do what I asked. There was literally no chunk." In the end, we paid just shy of $300 for a hair highlight/color and cut that wouldn't have cost near that with a premier-level stylist anywhere else in Stark County (and she would have gotten what she asked for the first time). I called MH Salon management and asked them to call me so we could discuss the situation. It's been two days and I haven't heard anything. So, here is my review and we will never return to that salon again. You shouldn't go there either.

To be fair, the owner and another young lady seemed to be training a new person, but I had three different people working on my pedicure. Only one foot got massaged. My nails were barely trimmed even though I asked several times that they be cut shorter. One person worked on one foot, she got up and someone else did the other foot, then someone else came over to paint my nails. It was the same for my friend. As much money as we've spent here, we felt really short-changed this visit and time before, so we probably won't be going back. The salon is always spotless and the atmosphere usually friendly; we just felt like we were regulars being taken for granted.
