I enjoyed the happy colors. The young couple, the only people in the place, seemed to really enjoy each other. But I digress. They seem to have a very limited number of yogurt options and with just 30 toppings, a limited way to enjoy them. Since everything is 49cents an once it's not surprising that the toppings are all heavy. The chunks of iron did seemed to be over kill. (I'll pause, wait for laugh) The young lady cleaning up also rang me up and was rather friendly. All in all, the place was fine, if you need a yogurt fix and want to pay more than you could while also avoiding typical chain places I'd go here.

Just what Walla Walla needed! Finally, a place that stays open late and serves great, (mostly) healthy desserts. I made my first visit to Blue Palm this afternoon and enjoyed the array of color and pizzaz that burst from this place. The staff are very inviting and friendly, and the yogurt options were very tasty. I enjoyed sampling a few different flavors before settling on my favorites. The topping options are very varied, as well, so I had no trouble adding in a whole mix of toppings to make my dessert even more scrumptious. I look forward to re-visiting this place often and enjoying it's ever changing flavors of delicious frozen yogurt.

A nice change from the mega-frozen yogurt chains -- delicious as anticipated; essential on a hot summer day!

Upon walking in, there is a variety of candies to choose from. They also had caramel apples and lots of chocolates to choose from. Ice cream was located at the back of the store. There were plenty of flavors to choose from and I opted for my tried and true Cookie Dough on a waffle cone. It was excellent as it was 90+ degrees outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the ice cream and the quaint downtown area. The people working the store were very friendly. Definitely check this place out when you visit Walla Walla for all of your candy and sweet tooth needs.

I went to the back of the store and they had Jellycats! It's almost impossible to find jellycats so I was so excited! I ended up getting the stuffed flower bear. So cool they have a JellyCat section. I also got a few chocolates, like the Dubai chocolate and toffee. They were delicious! One thing that was odd to me is that they don't have expirations date. I wanted to get a few boxes of chocolate for Valentine's Day but I asked when they expire and they told me they don't expire for a while. I said if they knew when and they said no. It makes me nervous because the boxes were pre packaged and I mean.. everything has an expiration date so it made me feel weird to get so I ended up not getting the boxed chocolates. Wish they would say on the package when they made the box of chocolates and the best by date.

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

I was in Walla Walla for business yesterday…read more I sell water stuff. There was already water in Walla Walla when I got there but thats not really how the business works. Had a very big day. Met with several people. Shook a lot of hands. Looked at some things. One guy had a map. By about 6pm I had done basically everything a businessman can legally do in one day so I decided to get dinner. Went to TMACS. Sat at the bar because I was by myself and sitting at a table by yourself makes it look like someone is coming. Nobody was coming. The lady gave me the menu. I told her I wasnt very hungry. She recommended the octopus. I said lets do it. I have always respected the octopus because it has 8 arms and still doesnt have a job. Octopus came out. Very good. Charred on the outside. Tender inside. Had some sauce and other things around it. I ate all of those too. At this point I was no longer hungry which had been the original goal. Then she asked what I wanted for dinner. This caught me off guard because I thought the octopus had counted. She recommended the bolognese. I said lets do that too. This is one thing I like about restaurants. You can just keep ordering. Bolognese came out and immediately became a serious situation. Big wide pasta. Rich meat sauce. Parmesan. Everything stuck to everything correctly. I dont know who invented bolognese but they understood that sometimes spaghetti needs more stuff on it. Very good. Halfway through dinner a glass broke. Everybody heard it. For about 2 seconds the entire restaurant became about the glass. Then it wasnt anymore. Incredible recovery. I talked to the staff quite a bit because I was at the bar and thats where they keep the staff. Very friendly people. One of the waitresses told me she had never been outside Walla Walla. I had just driven there from Bend Oregon. Between the two of us we had been to at least 2 places. I told her Bend is nice. She said Walla Walla is nice. We made a lot of progress. Then they started talking about the goat milk cheesecake. I reminded them I wasnt hungry. This information had not helped me earlier and did not help me now. Ordered the goat milk cheesecake. Very good cheesecake. I dont normally know what animal the milk came from when I eat cheesecake so it was nice having that information upfront. Goat did a great job. At this point I had eaten octopus, cow and goat in about 90 minutes. Basically toured the farm. Then I learned the restaurant was originally T. Maccarone's because the founder's actual last name is Maccarone. This guy was born with the last name Maccarone and opened a restaurant with pasta. Sometimes life tells you what to do. If his last name had been Hamburger this could have been a completely different place. Eventually they changed the name to TMACS which is much faster to say. Smart. I paid the bill. Everyone said goodbye. I walked back to my hotel extremely full even though I had entered the restaurant not hungry. That is a 100% increase in hunger elimination. I dont give investment advice but these are strong numbers. Excellent octopus. Excellent bolognese. Excellent goat cheesecake. Excellent staff. Glass situation resolved. Would recommend TMACS to anyone who is in Walla Walla and needs food. If you are not in Walla Walla you will need to get here first. 5 stars.

My chicken marsala was served without the menu-listed grilled baguette. I asked about that twice. Both times Alex shrugged it off saying maybe the kitchen had run out. Please note we are from California.and maybe things are done differently in Walla Walla? In California, when an item listed in a meal is unavailable, the server tells that to the customer and asks if they still want that menu item. We were not offered a discount. We were not provided with the grilled baguette or a substitute item. We were charged full price. Again, this is not how restaurants operate in California but maybe this is normal for TMACS? Your food is worth the price, but not if it isnt going to be served as represented on your menu. 10 points on the quality of your food, 2 points for misrepresenting your menu.
