Just what Walla Walla needed! Finally, a place that stays open late and serves great, (mostly) healthy desserts. I made my first visit to Blue Palm this afternoon and enjoyed the array of color and pizzaz that burst from this place. The staff are very inviting and friendly, and the yogurt options were very tasty. I enjoyed sampling a few different flavors before settling on my favorites. The topping options are very varied, as well, so I had no trouble adding in a whole mix of toppings to make my dessert even more scrumptious. I look forward to re-visiting this place often and enjoying it's ever changing flavors of delicious frozen yogurt.

A nice change from the mega-frozen yogurt chains -- delicious as anticipated; essential on a hot summer day!

It was pretty busy inside, but after a bit we were able to order. I ordered an iced soy latte with a pump of almond. Also a regular iced latte. I also ordered a few pastries, the Kouign Amann, Almond Croissant, and Goat Cheese and Herb croissant. They unfortunately don't heat up any pastries which I wish they would because I do think it would make the pastries better. The Kouign was my favorite. It was crunchy and delicious and sweet, I would get again. The goat cheese croissant was pretty good but nothing too special. As for the Almond Croissant, I was very disappointed. It had hardly any almond filling, and there was no almond flavor. I wish they would put slivered almonds on it but it was completely lacking. I would skip the almond croissant completely. As for the coffee, I got a regular iced latte and a Soy almond latte. The coffee was not good at all and it makes me sad to say but after a few sips... I had to throw it away! I felt like it threw away $7. It was very watery and the syrup tasted off. This is usually my go-to at other shops but I just couldn't drink this at all. Overall it was cool to try a pastry or two but I wouldn't make another trip here.

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

It was fresh grapefruit juice which was delicious. Also got started with Seared Ahi. The mango salsa was refreshing and I loved the plantain chips that came with it! It was hard to pick a main dish but I settled on the Wild King Salmon, and we also got the Chicken Marsala. The king salmon was to die for. So incredible and everything paired so well together. The sauce, bok choy, everything! I still am thinking about this dish days later. The chicken Marsala was also so delicious, I really enjoyed the chicken and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and I loved the polenta paired with it. All the dishes were so delicious! I would return here again and have the same dishes, but I can't wait to try their other dishes they offer. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The restaurant is dark, modern and chic. Definitely a great date night dinner spot. All the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We started with the pea bruschetta and this ended up being my favorite thing. The mint was so refreshing and it was such a unique and flavorful dish. For my main entree, I had the duck Ragu which was solid, nothing that blew me away, but an overall good dish. Overall we had a good dinner at TMACS and I would recommend it if you are in the Walla Walla area.
