They returned them to us in worse condition than when we delivered them with a stain and lint. That happens, ok if they fix it right? The employees promised us a full refund for the stain and a partial refund for the piece with lint. Then, Sean the manager, was too much of a miser to uphold his end of the bargain and give us a partial refund for a botched job. Following a death in the family, I needed help. I had many clothing items that required cleaning before being respectfully donated to people who could continue to love and make use of them. As an eco-conscious consumer, I try to only support business who share these values and approach. I was delighted to learn Rogers does not use toxic chemicals in their cleaning process (both dry cleaning and washing). When I inquired about how to handle delicate and sentimental items, the team was very kind and forthcoming with honest options and fair prices. When I inquired about bulk pricing for the numerous items I was donating, I was put in touch with Shaun Rose, the general manager. Shaun and I connected on creative ways to keep these items in use without sending them to the landfill or ocean (what happens w/ most clothing donations!). He explained how Rogers is committed to reducing their plastic use - yay! He also explained how well connected Rogers is to numerous organizations who could use the various clothing items. On his own accord, he offered to save me some hassle - he came by and PICKED THEM UP, laundered and donated them on my behalf! Who does this?!?!?! Shaun Rose and Rogers does. Wow - what a gem! Bitter party of one here. So I've used Rogers cleaners on and off for 30 years. I don't get much dry cleaned so it's been a long time since I needed to go to Rogers cleaners. This review is a late review but everytime I use my winter comforter it reminds me of what happened to the comforter and I get upset.So I decided to write a review. So I had a beautiful comforter from Restoration Hardware, it is a faux bear comforter and was super soft. When I received it from Rogers it seemed kind of rough but I thought maybe it needed to be taken out of the bag and shaken. No luck, it's matted all over and rough. They ruined it and every time I use it, I'm reminded of what they did to my comforter. I have tried to brush it out but it's a queen size comforter so it's taken a long time. Not the first time I have been disappointed, but the last. I can look past the rising & unpredictable price changes but this week I took a pair of trousers in to get hemmed & cleaned. They were two days late, was traveling out of town, but they managed to remove the safety pin marking the hem and just hem the bottom - still 4inches too long. 24$ is a lot for a good hem - ridiculous for a bad job - then 11$ for the cleaning?!? Recently I learned that Roger's does not do their dry cleaning on premises any longer- this may have been the case for a long time now. They are sent to a large center where unfortunately they've ruined 2 cashmere sweater and a merino wool sweater and two skirt sets. For the delicate wool and cashmere- they were washed, dried, and resultantly shrunk. One sweater was also permanently discolored from the abrasive treatment. As an aside- who on this earth- whose job it is to care for clothing- puts cashmere or wool IN THE DRYER. My skirt sets which were intentionally crinkled during manufacturing, were pressed. I had asked them not to be pressed and was assured they wouldn't be. Evidently the centralized cleaning center didn't get the memo. There are other dry cleaners in Tampa that do their cleaning on premises. I have been going to the new cleaner for 6 months weekly and all of my clothes are expertly taken care of unlike Roger's. It is also substantially less expensive. But most importantly not clothes remain as they were before cleaning. It's a pity- Roger's used to be the best dry cleaner there ever was. Not anymore. Now they are expertly overpriced with a drastically worse product that has ruined many of my believed clothes. read more

They took great care with it and restored it to its original shape. Another time I need to find a way to clean something that they were not able to take. Tried for three (3) visits. Disappointed each time, on different points. Pants poorly pressed: had to be pressed at home before wearing. Fresh clothing not returned as requested. Requested tailoring on pants, confirmed with shop attendant, discussed specific work and tailor, and it was not done. Pants cleaned (their profit) but not tailored (for customer convenience). Had to make another trip to go to our trusted tailor across the street. Oh, and do NOT leave a clean handkerchief in your pants pocket: they will be happy to launder and press it for an additional $3.30. Ouch. Overall, for pricing at this level, Rogers should be totally reliable and consistent: it is neither. Caveat Emptor. Keep looking for the ideal dry cleaning services. read more

I dropped off 6 items and when I picked up, the bill was $131.59. They charged me $38 to clean a cotton cardigan sweater. Not cashmere, cotton. Ridiculous, won't be returning here. The owner called me after seeing my review. He could not have been more professional in explaining the charges. While the fees for dresses are still higher than what I'm used to paying, I am going to give this business another try for all other items. Rogers ruined a beautiful designer Shirt looked like cigarette ashes burned it. I called and asked they said we don't smoke, neither do I. What do you do to treat that could cause a burn hole? We don't. Well when I took it off it wasn't burnt and brought it to you. Going nowhere fast. Been there many times service has never impressed but use it as a drop off for certain things on that side of time. I did check their reviews, it seems some are way off. I wasn't offered a super manger. I had similar experience to the reviewer with a ruined suit. Shady business. Take your business elsewhere. One of my undershirts made in with the drop-off. After picking up a +50.00 bill, I looked to see the undershirt was included with a charge of 7.27. I though it was a mistake and took the undershirt back and was told that it was correct. I can buy brand new undershirts for that. Longtime customer here. I've always had a good experience here at Rogers Cleaners until tonight. I was driving by at 7pm and noticed the open sign was on and decided to pull in and pick up some shirts I turned in a week or so ago. Mind you I had no idea they were closing at 7pm. Again, the open sign was ON. As I pull up Austin greets me by looking at his watch, then giving me an attitude when asking me my info. I understand you're closing, but the worst thing for a business to do is make a customer feel as if they are a bother. It makes for a very awkward and uncomfortable situation. Not the way I want to feel when paying for your services. Not to mention this whole transaction was less than 2 minutes long. As Austin returns with my shirts and total, he tells me my total is $20 and some change. He does not even have the decency to tell me my exact total of what's being charged to my debit card. I did let Austin know my displeasure at the end of the transaction. Instead of being apologetic, he gives me a passive-aggressive response in return, and tells me to have a good night. Only reason this is not a one-star review is because my shirts were cleaned and pressed nicely like always. Updating my review to 5 stars after Ron, the manager promptly reached out to me to remedy this issue. This is what good customer service is all about. Like I said before, I've been coming here for years and never had an issue until this night. And everyone is allowed a bad night every now and again. Thank you, Ron. They put a bad taste in my mouth. I dropped off clothes for wash and press. I picked them up and my bill was like $200.00 ?? They dry cleaned everything. Even tho I didn't want them dry cleaned and several of the shirts actually read DO NOT dry clean. I still scratch my head at this one. Several of my items were shrunk and couldn't be worn. Instead, I was told - well we will take off a portion of the bill. I read the receipt copy and it was clearly stated as Wash and Press only. I almost put up a fight. I had the inkling to go crazy and postal but I digressed. I left and took my business elsewhere. read more

I have made the mistake of going to Rogers twice, and my experiences, both times, were shockingly bad. It is, by far, the most expensive drying cleaning that I have ever had to endure. Moreover, they go out of their way to avoid telling you the dry cleaning price when you drop off the clothes, so they surprise you with the terrible pricing at the time of pick-up. So you would assume that, if you just paid for the most expensive dry cleaning imaginable, your clothes would actually be clean when you get them back. This is, sadly, not the case. at least four of my garments came back DIRTIER than they were when I dropped them off (three white garments turned, strangely, yellowish, and a shirt came back with an odd stain on the sleeve). Avoid Rogers. ANY other means of cleaning your clothes would have to be better. read more

The amazing customer service provided by this company is beyond any I have experienced. They are, as mentioned in other reviews, more expensive than other dry cleaners, however, I use them for a twice-weekly pick up and drop off service from my house, which obviously costs more for the convenience, and they are an eco-friendly dry cleaners, which typically costs more as well. I love that Rogers uses non-toxic cleaning products and has a program where customers can recycle their hangers, plastic and cardboard. I simply put the plastic and cardboard in the laundry bag they provide me, along with the clothes to be laundered, put the hangers in a small hanger-shaped cardboard box, which they also provide, and leave it outside my door in the morning to be picked up twice a week. It couldn't be easier. The woman who drops off and picks up my dry cleaning is so friendly and goes out of her way to make sure I am a satisfied customer. If I happen to miss the van, I can call and text her to see if she is still in the area to swing back around. Even if she is not, she will still offer to return (I don't take her up on this, but I know she would come back if I did). She leaves my dogs treats in the hanger recycling box when she drops off. She texted me happy Thanksgiving wishes and let me know of the change of schedule due to the holidays. She has texted me to make sure I wasn't out of town (because I had told her I had a work trip upcoming) to ensure that my dry cleaning didn't sit outside for a long period of time. They damaged a shirt while trying to remove a stubborn stain and immediately called me to find out the value of the shirt, then credited my account that amount. I could go on and on about the stellar customer service Rogers Cleaners provides. They certainly have made me a loyal and satisfied customer. read more

My husband and I have been using Rogers for years now never ever have had an issue! I recently brought a pair of white canvas shoes and had asked if they could spot clean them. The manager quickly responded that it wouldn't be a problem! A couple days later we were informed that someone tried to do a better job and had actually ruined the shoes!! Shawn the manager was upfront and said that he was going to send the shoes away to a specialist and if they didn't come back perfect then he would purchase the same pair of shoes for him. Very disappointing. I dropped off 8 shirts and was told they would be $3.50 each, which seems on the steep side, but when I picked them up the bill was over $40! They told me that a couple of them had to be dry cleaned - though I have always had the same shirts laundered, and the tag did not say anything about needed to dry clean them - and they charged $8 each for those shirts. I am new to the area (moved up from South Florida where I usually spend the winter months), so maybe its just an expensive town for laundering, but I did not expect it to be double what I pay for high quality services in the other cities where I have homes (Washington and Manhattan). Even the dry cleaning charge, which was unnecessary, was double what I am used to, so for the shirts it was quadruple what I pay elsewhere. I went through some periods, I can only assume related to staffing issues, where buttons were broken or clothing otherwise damaged. Stopped in to have a king size comforter cleaned. Was really impressed with drive up service. Quoted me a price of $35-$40. Picked my item up when they told me it would be ready and told me it was $47. I was impressed with the way they packaged up item but mentioned the cost difference between what I was quoted and the girl apologized and told me she would have owner call me and she sent email. I then followed up the day after as I never heard from the owner. She then apologized and told me she would follow up with her again and tell her I was wanting to speak with her. I made it clear that I wasn't at all upset with service and would use again outside of the cost difference. I never heard from the owner. read more
