Had to call the "emergency number" posted in the 'mat. Reached a woman who said she was local and would come down to help. Not sure if she was the owner or managed it, but if I rated just her service I would give 5 stars. But facility needs some attention and updates- machines were worn out and not surprised by my experience. She responded within 20 minutes, was very kind and apologetic but it was an inconvenience and delayed my Saturday plans waiting and then having to move soaked items to new machine, make sure it was working etc.

There are no metal laundry carts available and no folding stations either, plus its physically hard to move around due to the many employees they have there now. Open 24 hours and less than a mile from the hotel, I was able to drive over, dry the clothes and be back in the hotel in less than 30 minutes door to door. Kathy's isn't a HUGE place, but it's convenient and cheaper than most hotels - a perfectly nice place. The manager I spoke to was very understanding and let his crew know I would be by dropping off a huge load, even though it was technically past closing time. The women who greeted me at the location were so kind and helpful. My friends have been incredibly happy with the results and said they are continuing to use this location while they're in transition. The pricing was very reasonable, and turnaround time was fast despite the insane month we had in St Pete.
