I'd heard a couple friends switched over to Mobilicity, so I thought I'd take a look. This store was small, straight-forward and no pressure. I really liked that. Their selections of phones is modest, but flows really well from super cheap burner phone to highest-end Androids. I decided on a middle-ground and got a little Android on sale for $120. The resolution on the screen isn't great and it'll take some getting used to (it's not an iPhone! Boohoohoo), but I'm pretty happy with it. I got the promo deal of $40/month for UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. Woohoo! 'Though my phone may be a dink, it's still Smart and it'll certainly not be driving me into the poorhouse. All in all, the service was great - he was really easy to work with, and they both even laughed when I made stupid jokes. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable at all and they were really honest about the pros and cons. All around, I definitely recommend them to anyone considering switching! So far I haven't made many calls so I'm not sure about coverage, but I guess that's an issue for the company, not this retail location.

I switched from Rogers and realized on the very first day that it was a huge mistake. They locked me into a 3-month period, and despite multiple complaints, nothing was ever resolved. Once they take your payment, they seem to stop caring completely. No refunds, no compensation, and no effort to fix the issues. I spent hours emailing their support team, answering all their questions, and sending screenshots as proof. They kept giving me hope that I would receive a refund or compensation, but after wasting so much of my time and energy, they ultimately refused to do anything. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a telecom company. Beware -- I would strongly recommend avoiding Chatr services.
