Dr. Jim is patient and listens to you, as well as your body to address whatever the issue might be. He has never failed to help me feel better when I see him. I first started coming when I was younger after being a passenger in a car accident and having a decent amount of neck and back pain. I still come in the event of injury (rare but more frequent appointments) and for maintenance (regularly but less frequent appointments). There are many chiropractors out there who just crack your back and neck in a couple places then send you on your way. That is not how things are done here. Both Dr.'s D and H have a much more involved approach to treating pain and maintaining health. I think of it like sports medicine. You have heat placed on your muscles to allow them to relax, then the muscles are deeply massaged to relieve tension/loosen tight spots prior to the chiropractic adjustment. There have been plenty of times I've come in last minute in pain after something like going too hard at the gym or dare I say - just sleeping with the wrong pillow (yikes). I always leave with my pain alleviated and with more mobility than I walked in with. If you're looking for a lighter touch like the previous reviewer, maybe ask for Danielle to treat you. She is very strong but can be more gentle. If you're looking to have a stubborn knot in your muscle to be absolutely decimated, don't be surprised when that's what Hubert does. He's very good at it.
