Excited to see another restaurant in Maple Grove. However location has hosted many restaurants that haven't made it. Hopefully this one will last. Recently opened, we had lunch. I ordered beef tacos, luke warm, not much flavor. Friend ordered grilled chicken tacos, Felt the same. Warm chips and queso dip delicious! Top shelf margarita a bust! Very watered down no flavor. Had it remade, it was the same. The ohoto looks better than it taste. Ordered a beer! The manager was super friendly and offered to make me another margarita, I declined but he insisted. A little better but still not for me. Ok, I will preface that I am a margarita snob. I offered to jump behind the bar and make him one. He declined. I like the atmosphere, service was good. Yikes! I know this has recently opened, but there was absolute chaos with the staff while we were there. E went for dinner on a Wednesday night. July 1st our family visited Rojo for my grandsons 16th birthday. There were 17 of us. The restaurant was not busy at all. We all ordered our 1st round of drinks and than we ordered our second round of drinks. Everyones drinks finally came after having to ask a couple of time because some did not receive their drink, I had to actually go to the bar because after asking a few times it never came. We than had to ask if we could order our food because he never asked if we were ready. He took our orders and the food came except for the Birthday Boy and his girlfriend. He had never put in there order and had to ask them what they ordered. by the time they got their food we were all done eating. All of our plates were on our table and never came to remove any after we were done eating, drink glasses and plates! When he brought our bills there were 5 of us that paid separately the bills were all incorrect. He had drinks and food items on the wrong bills and it was a mess. While trying to figure it out the staff finally came to clear the table because we were standing with the waiter at another table and they took 2 peoples leftover boxes of food and threw them away. The manager was no help at all, no apologies but looking more irritated than anything. We all had to stand around the waiter trying to figure out our bills for 30 minutes after we were all ready to leave. Because it was such a mess with the bills no one noticed they already put a 20% gratuity on the bill and even though we had such crappy service we all tipped at least 15% to 20% on top on the already 20% tip. We all would of noticed that the tip was already on there but it was pure Chaos! Staff and Manager need some training! read more

I believe they would have higher customer satisfaction if they had a choice between traditional style Spanish rice (tomato based) in addition to the very sweet rice they serve. It's quite different and definitely not crave worthy, in my opinion. read more

The food was pretty good. The basic Margherita was delicious. The patio was sort of grubby and could use a good hose down and scrubbing. Server Megan was great!! It was easy to get a table with no waiting. Nice spot for the most part. read more

Might have been the worst Mexican food I've had. Chicken was dry and food was cold. Waitress was pleasant but kitchen was extremely slow.

The water was not the coldest of the bunch. The "enchiladas" were a bowl of cheese sauce. The nachos were soggy when they arrived at table. The waitresses were nice! The chips and salsa were splendid which is the only reason they get more than 1 star. We will definitely not be returning! read more

Food was above average to great depending on the dish. The service needs to improve some. Had a hard time contacting our waitress at times and plates were not removed when they should have been. called my girls to have a night out at the new restaurant that just opened in maple grove unfortunately we didn't expect to wait 20 minutes to get a table let alone how bad our server Amy was it took her 10 minutes to greet our table and another to get our drink plus our food was very cold when handed out not to mention how small everything was. When I reached out to let I believe the manager Zack know how bad our experience was he did in fact give us attitude and acted very annoyed with us which I felt was very unprofessional and I do think he needs a lot more training for being a manager. The whole time we were at Rojo the manger was being very rude and disrespectful towards the staff even making some of his employees cry. Unfortunately we will not be coming back due to our terrible experience!! read more

This place is disgusting I just want to add that if you have an allergy they don't care about it you can literally see them touching other food without changing their gloves it don't matter to them fish allergy they don't care and it's very dangerous and irresponsible especially when I addressed it to the manger which he was very irritated with us ..
