I really like this place. We came here today looking for a Nordic cold plunge pool spa experience. We found a hidden gem. The spa is clean, tranquil, and affordable. I really like the personal touches the owner, Keisha, puts in. We met regular guests who are lovely, too. All in all a wonderful, RELAXING spa trip. My skin feels great and my spirit is restored. My boyfriend and I went to this spa for the couples package and it was the opposite of relaxing being in there. -the steam room was not even hot, one of the ladies that works there said its not as hot as it needs to be so we didnt get any of those benefits. -when we were in the sauna, we were expecting to get knocks on the door to let us know they were ready for us for the scrub. Instead, the lady knocked once and immediately opened the door and instead of closing it as soon as she saw that my boyfriend was unclothed, she kept it open. We both felt really exposed because based on the time, we had more time before the scrub. And the shared space being right outside the sauna made it even worse so anyone could have seen -we were expecting to get the body scrub in a private room, instead we were in the shared space. I felt fully exposed as I knew there were people in the steam room and the sauna. The only okay things were the massage (it was supposed to be a 1 hour massage and it was at most 45-50 minutes, so didnt even get our moneys worth on that) and cold plunge pool. The massage at one point was starting to make me uncomfortable as she kept pulling my underwear down and the blanket down when i was laying on my back. There are other spas that will provide actual private amenities for a lower cost so we really do not recommend this place or spending $400 for the couples package. This was supposed to be a relaxing valentines day gift and it was not very relaxing at all. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. We paid for eight people for two hours, expecting to relax and enjoy our time. Instead, we were screamed at and kicked out for allegedly being "too loud"--all because a massage was happening nearby. If they were so concerned about noise, maybe they shouldn't run a sauna right next to a massage room? The staff was beyond rude and unprofessional, literally yelling at us instead of handling the situation like adults. No warning, no discussion--just aggressive behavior and demands for us to leave. And to top it all off, they refused to refund us, even though we didn't even get the full time we paid for. This place is a joke. Terrible management, awful customer service, and a complete scam. Service ( provided by employees) is outstanding, massage therapists are very good. The place itself is let go by the owner. Things need to be remodeled, replace, fixed but are being ignored by the management. That is unfortunate. I love Russian Sauna and don't mind paying high rates BUT I will not go back to the Spa that is not taken care of. read more

Red Rocks Spa treats people like family. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Zoya was incredibly accommodating and attentive with my needs, and she gave me the best facial I have ever had. The sauna is a proper Russian bath house type sauna with temp of 200 degrees which was great and worth every penny! Keisha, the owner, was kind and personable - I appreciated getting to know her. I choose to travel down to Red Rock Spa from LoHi Denver because it's the best in town. Highly recommend, and will be making it part of my weekly routine. read more

Went for a couples massage and as soon as they were done, we looked at each other and said, "there's not a chance they are licensed massage therapists." No rhythm or consistency in the massage at all. She had me go on my side to massage my lower back and ended up massaging my kidney and ribs. It was the worst massage I've ever gotten. She did not know how to use the hot stones & the guy that massaged my gf got super close to her private parts and was digging into her spine. Not professional, not good quality. Awful experience. Did a date night here and really enjoyed the experience - going from the dry sauna to the cold plunge was invigorating. We did a salt scrub which felt great. Having a private room was a nice place to relax and change, and it's nice that the dry sauna is private as well. Owner was super nice, we enjoyed speaking with her, she took the time to explain a few different traditional elements of a Russian spa. Would recommend for sure, five stars! read more

I have never had such a terrible massage/spa experience! Spending $150 per person on a Russian banya experience where you slap your partner with leaves yourself and having a massage therapist answer phone calls during your short 30 minute massage while using a cupping procedure without your consent. They even took a credit card for a deposit of $50 to hold the reservation and did not refund or subtract it from the charges. Horrifying experience that had left me with deep bruising and back pain. Do not go here due to the unprofessionalism and utterly high cost for such subpar services. Go to one of the Izba spa locations for a true banya experience!! read more

HIDDEN GEM!! We came for a sauna session to sweat off the night before and had an incredible experience at the Red Rocks Spa. We spent the hour bouncing between the sauna, cold plunge, waterfall shower, and steam room. When you first arrive the outside doesn't seem like much, but we were blown away by the inside facilities and adorable, quirky decor. The staff and ownership were so incredibly kind and accommodating which just further added to our amazing experience! They really thought of everything including the warm heavy robes, lots of complimentary water, aroma therapy to elevate your sauna experience, and even cute little baggies to take your wet suits home. OMG I loved this place!!!! I was impressed from the moment I called. Beatrice was very friendly and told me about spa packages available. I purchased a package with a massage, facial, body scrub, and use of the sauna and pool. It was the full-service treatment. Each step of the process was professional and amazing. They were all so thorough. It was such a fantastic way to detox, and get away from my stress for a bit. I really can't say enough good things about the experience. It comes highly recommended. Decided to give this place a chance based on reviews, despite my reservations due to the location. First, let me just say, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a "spa". The interior was very strange, and not at all spa-like. When I got into my room, it seemed grimy. There were literal CRUMBS on the sheets. The curtains had very suspicious white stains all over them. All that aside, the worst part of the experience was that there was a brawl outside of the window of during my massage. I was so frightened because I could hear the two people fighting and banging up against the wall/window. I kept asking the therapist if someone should call the police because I could hear them (and others) screaming and physically fighting. My massage got interrupted twice because my therapist had to go see what was going on, and finally she told me the police were on their way. When my massage was over (it wasn't great), they asked how everything was and I told them about my experience. They gave me a half-hearted apology but no compensation. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. read more

True Russian banya experience under new ownership. Called ahead of time to find out the situation. We rented out our own hot sauna for 2 hours. They gave us a full tour and a private room to get dressed and relax in. The room included a TV, towels, delish tea, water bottles and a snack platter. The sauna was legit, up to 180 degrees. The lady managing the place made sure we were happy throughout our visit with frequent check ins and assistance. You must try the bucket, cold-water experience and the cold plunge! Russian Banya House. If you don't know what to expect you should look it up or don't go. Cold plunge pools, wicked hot sauna (160 degrees farenheit), steam room, cold showers, deep and thorough facials and private or couples massage. We got the biggest package and went for the whole experience. It was a great experience overall. A couple of weird things happened and damn was that sauna hot but all in all I would recommend going at least once. It's pricey and the exterior of the location is a little on the sketch side. Paid $300 for my sister who is in town visiting from out of state to get a deep tissue and hot stone massage with 30min sauna. She got the deep tissue and the pressure was very light. Music was extremely loud in the room, directions were unclear as well. The massage table would not stop squeaking. There was no music playing when my service started, and I could hear the very loud rap music from the business next door (not relaxing at all). They did get the music turned on but i could still hear the other music. My masseuse also did not ask if the pressure was okay, and it was very light as well in my opinion. When we headed to the sauna there was a nude male walking around and nudity was not advertised on the website or in the spa anywhere. We felt uncomfortable with this and therefore did not use the sauna. They were also doing maintenance during our (not private at all) session. While checking out I mentioned all this to the front desk and they did not offer to reimburse anything. Just apologized and so we went on our way. The pictures look very nice online but honestly it is dingy and drab inside. For $300 the value and service was such a waste. Not even towel hooks for robes/towels outside the showers. I can't decide if this was a great or terrible experience tbh the women running it are very Eastern European. It's in a kind of seedy strip mall. The women will tell you everything about yourself that could make you self conscious if you didn't already know. The lady who did my facial told me I had a very hairy face and that I should wax it I'm super blonde!!! She also told my friend who booked a massage that she needed a facial instead ‍ during the service I felt like she kept trying to up charge us. Trying to sell packages and upgrades to the facial. I go to a spa to just relax, not be sold things! the sauna was nice, plunge bath felt good. My skin looked good after the facial, she definitely got all the blackheads and whatnot out. I selected a couples package at Red Rocks Spa for my boyfriend and I as a late Christmas gift. We don't see each other frequently due to his work schedule and long distance, so we're looking forward to this opportunity. The package included a couples private room, a 60 minutes massage each, a private sauna, and body scrub and honey mask. Once we arrived, we were told that we would take turns with the services- one using the sauna first while the other one of us received the massage. Nothing we did was together. For a 2.5hr experience, we were only together for about 20 minutes. We stayed because at that point we would not have been able to reschedule, as I was only visiting the area for a week. I visited Denver for the 4th of July weekend and had done some research on this Spa. The Spa seemed lovely so i decided to book 2 appointments for Friday, July 5th at 3pm for my best friend and I. I reached out to the Spa over 2.5 months ago requesting an appointment and after a few attempts to email them someone finally got back to me and let me know that my Spa appointment was confirmed and approved. I was very much looking forward to my Spa time, I drove 45 minutes out of the way to Red Rocks Spa, and when i get there the doors are locked, lights off and it appears that the Spa is closed. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE. NOT ONE SINGLE EMAIL, OR CALL TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY WERE NO LONGER ABLE TO HONOR MY APPOINTMENT. I called them ell weekend in hopes to try to get in touch with someone, and no one ever picks up the phone and you are not able to leave a message. I also sent an email on Friday as soon as this happened and no one has yet gotten back to me. This kind of practice is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Stay clear of this place you never know if they may or may not show up to their SCHEDULED appointment. read more

I was excited that this place had a "cold plunge" and sauna. While the sauna was exceptionally hot, the cold plunge isn't cold at all and is very filthy. The steam room smells of mold, and you can see mold all over the plunge and shower area. I felt really gross after leaving there. I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Absolutely amazing. Called around 1pm Sunday afternoon and was able to get in for the couples package at 3pm. My husband and I needed some relaxation before he leaves for a longer work assignment. We truly enjoyed having the dry sauna to connect and force each other into the different cold water trips. The body mask was amazing, I was unsure of the honey on my face but I honestly enjoyed it and haven't broken out. We then showered and sat in the steam room for a minute then headed to massages, which were the BEST. Yes the pressure is hard, if you want it to be lighter you just have to ask. Both of our ladies did terrific jobs!!!! When they say full body massage, they mean it! They massaged our ears, scalps, hips, everything. It was truly the best massage I've ever gotten. The ambiance is fantastic, the lighting and candles are so nice. There was dried eucalyptus in the showers that released their aromas with the steam. The music was so relaxing and cool. We love going here! We love everything about this place. The quality of the massages are consistently great. They offer many couples services and that is very appareling to us. The sauna, steam, banya, ice cold pool and showers are the perfect pairing to a couples massage. The massage rooms are a suite with a seating area. Btwn the steam/sauna time they bring in a tray of tea and snacks. The entire experience is incredibly relaxing. We will continue to go here bc its the best! Contacted them one month before desired appointment, never received confirmation like I was told I would. Contacted again two weeks before, spoke to the manager and was told she would call me with the exact time of my appointment (between two options). Never heard anything. When I called the day of my appointment, I was told they didn't schedule me because they had a large group coming in so she just didn't call me. They just decided I didn't get to come in without contacting me. My appointment was supposed to be a gift to my significant other and now it is ruined. read more

I have passed this place before and did not expect the inside to be so beautiful! Do not judge it until you have experienced it. My sister in law was so kind to get us the package deal for a girls spa day. The whole experience was so amazing and the attention to detailed to the decorations and service was great. While we were there, we did not come across anyone in the shared area where you go into the saunas and you plunge into the cold water, but I did ask and yes men and women share this area and may be naked. If you don't like that, just don't go but they said it's not common that you run into someone undressed. But I will definitely be back with my fiance!!! read more

Not only was this an extremely unpleasant experience, but the masseuse kept touching me in areas I specifically asked them not to. Also they switched masseuses part way through my massage and continued to touch me in areas I specifically asked to stay away from. The place is cute, location seems a bit hidden BUT it was my first great first time experience. I've been putting off the review because I've been busy with traveling but I am here now. When I first stepped in, I was so nervous and kinda shy because the ladies in front didn't know how to speak English that well so it kinda sounded like they were upset with me, idk. Anyways, but then I was led to the back where I met Amber. Gosh! She was so pretty and so polite and friendly she made me feel so welcomed and eased my stress so easily. She's great at massages and she helped me with everything I questioned with wise words and generosity. I literally felt like I made a new friend. I would definitely go again, when I get the chance. I didn't feel too insecure as I did when I first stepped in. She explained everything so calmly and nicely it was the best customer service experience I've ever had. Honestly, I rated this place 5 stars because of Amber. I call her Amber alert, because she's so alert and so great with people and her job. I lost her number she gave me but I would've definitely asked her to join me and some friends for lunch or dinner. You guys, this place is wonderful and just because the front people can't speak English well, does not mean they're not nice, cause they're cool people. Amber is just cooler lol jk but she did stand out. Her services were outstanding and I never questioned it. I definitely loved her hair and makeup too.
