While this was by no means an emergency, Doctor Locksmith sent Kevin over to our home within an hour to assess and repair. Kevin arrived with a mask on which I very much appreciated considering the new COVID variant. The consult fee to come and assess was $34. He explained that he'd work on removing the old, broken lock and then discuss replacement. There was a consult fee, lock removal fee and then he replaced both (2) locks on the door. It was a pricey visit but well worth the efficiency and resolution provided. This was likely the most stress-free home repair we've experienced as homeowners thus far! My 88 year old mother contacted this contractor in order to have deadbolts installed in her home on…read morethe front and back doors. A subcontractor was sent to the house to complete the work. The sub contractor was informed that both the door knob and deadbolt should be keyed alike to avoid having to use 2 keys. This also required the current door to be drilled in order to install the deadbolt. The sub contractor installed a dead bolt only and left the original doorknob which was not what was to be done. Additionally, she was told a credit card could be used originally. The sub contractor told her check only. Total for the installation of 2 deadbolts was $660. The work was worse than sub standard and is shown in the pictures. I wouldnt pay 6 dollars for this bullshit work. Since this work was subbed out, Doctor Locksmith is responsible for the work of the sub. There was no follow up from Dr. Locksmith and they wont answer the phone nor return any calls. The sub contractor will not answer or return messages either. The cost of this work should be refunded immediately. I am going to post this same review on every platform I can and will be making an in person visit. I would have given this a no star rating if it allowed me to.
