After a fun night of playing pool my wife and I stoped by Rolbertos for a late night burrito grab. We bit got a Carne Asada Fry Burritos. I live in San Diego I'm used to every Hispanic restaurant and food truck making this exact thing, but the ones at Rolbertos was better than I'm used to, was also pretty surprised that the red sauce was a bit hotter, the green sauce was really tasty too. I love this place! Fast lines, reasonable prices and their salsa verde is pretty good. I'm from Southern California in San Diego so I know Mexican food. Told all my Montana buddies this is the best "close by" taco shop in this part of the NW. Recommendation: Chicken Burrito with French fries inside and salsa verse. read more

Really good Carne Asada burritos. Packed with well seasoned beef, onion, cilantro, tomato. No rice no fillers. Very tasty! Horchata was also really tasty! The churros not so good tasted like old fyer oil. Skip those. read more

Worst bean and cheese burrito experience ever! This place is the first place to ever mess up a bean and cheese burrito so I thought I would leave a review. My tortilla was stale and hard to eat in certain parts, they should just throw away food that's not good rather then serve it to their customers, they use American not Mexican cheese n it claims to be Mexican, so much grease came out of my burrito it was disgusting, they should get a new cook and now I'm just feel itchy and my stomach is not happy and just have a greasy after taste in my mouth. Carnitas tacos were ok. Burrito had no flavor at all. The manager or the chef treated the cashier so bad, he was yelling at the poor girl. He has no matters at all and the fact that he was doing that in front of us and my kids. Never coming back here. read more

Very best dive-y Mexican food around. Love the super quesadilla (large enough for 2), the carne asada anything, and the Robertos for breakfast. I order the kids quesadilla meal and it serves all 3 of my small children. Dining room is very clean and almost always empty, the drive thru is super fast! read more

For a cheap 24/7, mexican place, Rolberto's is awesome. I love the carnitas and the carne asada is pretty good, also.

Don't let the outside of his restaurant fool you! I had the veggie burrito it was humongous! Super tasty and very well made. My husband had the machaca plate it was excellent and he couldn't eat it all! Their horchata was excellent as well. We will be back! Our new favorite place in town! NEGATIVE 5 STARS....WONT LET ME POST A REVIEW UNLESS I MARK A STAR.....JUST READ, YOU WELL SEE WHY! Spending all day at a craft fair as a vendor the Last thing I wanted to do was Cook. So I swung through the drive thru, it was fast friendly service with a smile, almost makes me wonder if they were giggling inside, knowing the hell I was about to bite into. Got home ate and went to sleep, about 6hrs later woke up out of a dead sleep with the worst stomach cramps imaginable, felt like a scene from some alien movie half expected a small being to rip its self through my stomach lining growling through its fangs that dripped with saliva. Next came the projectile vomiting, ever seen the movie The Exorcist? The special effects artists could have taken notes from me! I put that scene from that movie to shame. I didn't have a chance to catch a breath between each heave, the worst part is, if your think the green sauce is spicy when you eat it, you can only imagine how it felt coming back out with force. Can be compared to a thousand tiny razor blades being shot out of your throat like a cannon in some freak side show. This continued well into the next day. We won't even discuss the other end of my anatomy because I can sum it pretty easily with out a lot of gruesome detail. Picture old faithful but lava instead of water erupting every 20 minutes. Still want to eat there? I would think twice. And after all this was said and done, I did some research and made a few calls. I'm not the 1st victim of this gastrointestinal assault. I have never had food poisoning before, it was dreadful. Wish it had negative starts cause I would be happy to give it to them! and just to rule out any other possibilities my Husband and Daughter were with me the entire day, we all ate the same thing at the fair. We all ordered from Los Roberto's that Night, but 3 separate menu items, so what we ate didn't have the same ingredients "fajitas super nacho" is what tried to cause my demise. read more

So it was a road trip Sunday morning, and by the time we went to mass, socialized a little with my mother-in-law and sis-in-law, got out of the hotel, repacked the car, scored some groceries and stocked up on supplies...well we were just needing to get on the road to our next epic National Park destination. Husband was lobbying for fast food, just for the speed aspect, and it's not that I was lobbying for sit-down but in my old age I have just gotten really anti-fast-food (and by that I mean the big chains...you know who they are.) And so we were just kind of driving aimlessly thru the greater Pocatello area arguing about where and what to eat. How we ended up in this spot who knows, but here we were and dive-ish fast-ish Mexican sounded great to both of us. For a couple of days for unknown reasons I had been having random memories of this place we used to eat a lot when we lived in Reseda - it was a Salvadoran grocery right across the street from our first apartment that had a little itty bitty counter in the front corner of the store where they made the most awesome breakfast burritos you've ever tasted. And this looked like the kind of place that would serve that sort of thing. And I was right. I had a pretty decent breakfast burrtito, not Salvadoran good, but pretty tasty. We also ordered carnitas tacos for the little ones and I had a hard time not stealing their lunch. And I can't remember what my husband ordered. Bottom line, this place definitely qualifies as a dive, it's kind of old and slummy and maybe a little bit dirty, there's a small number of tables, but decent cheap food, pretty quick service, and an extensive menu. read more

Great Mexican food in an easy to miss location. We passed by here on a road trip because of the high ratings and were not disappointed. The enchiladas were some of the best I've had. Watch out for their homemade habanero salsa (VERY hot)! Rolbertos is well priced, has great food, authentic taste, and friendly, fast service.
