I am gluten-intolerant. I informed the server and she was very knowledgeable about what I could eat. I ordered the Brunch Burger with the breakfast items on the side (egg & diced potatoes). First time we ate there was for lunch over Memorial Day weekend. It wasn't great. The grilled Ham sandwich and fries. It was awful. Portions are small, quality is worse than McDonald's. Pulled in today to meet with friends for breakfast, first sign, no one in the parking lot, (should have went across the street), the waitress couldn't get the order right, I had to tell her 3 times. Then it came out wrong, my friends waffles were so hard, like hockey pucks. My dish was cold, hash browns were still raw, and they peppered the crap out of them, couldn't even eat them. Crispy bacon.. what a joke. The meal got comped and the manager promised it would be better next time. NO THANKS. Don't think 3 time will be the charm. When I was in school, I had been to Rexburg location a couple times. Got together with some old college buddies and they said they loved this place. The building decor is almost an exact replica of the other location and it made me smile. I love the farmhouse chic and all the quotes and cows on the walls. It was clean and our servers were nice and polite, it never felt like we were waiting too long. We ordered fried pickles, yummy but the bottom of the basket was coated in oil. My friend ordered the honey chicken sandwich and while good it was super saturated in sauce. Another ordered a wrap and also complained about dripping. Apparently last time they came there wasn't enough sauce and that the water tasted weird but it was just fine today. I ordered the Baja Burger and everything was just too soft and overwhelmed by the jalapeños and fries not crispy. I was stuck between ordering the Bison burger and the Baja and wished I had gone with the Bison. read more

Okay, first you have to try the Spud Sampler, and whatever you get as your main, get the onion straws as your side. Everything we had was delicious. BUT! You have to try their little cakes. We had chocolate and lemon, both were delicious, but I would drive the 465 miles just for that. All of the employees were super nice and answered any questions we had. Went with a friend for a late lunch. The food was horribly seasoned and was very peppery and other parts salty. Service was great but the waiter tried flirting with us which was weird. Meh. It was okay. Not saying the food was bad, but I ordered something called a "baja burger" (or something to that effect). It didn't taste Tex-mex by any stretch of the imagination, it mostly just tasted like pickles. Service was okay, not great, but they had just opened a few weeks prior, so... Probably won't be back, just getting burned out on giving Poky restaurants a second chance. If I can make something better at home, then I'm just eating food I don't particularly like, and paying $40 to have somebody else do the dishes. I don't consider myself a restaurant snob, by any means, but some of these owners in this town need to spend a week in Vegas or New Orleans or something, and get an idea of what food should taste like. We decided to eat here after shopping. You can tell this place is new and the staff isn't totally sure of themselves, but everyone seems nice. My daughter got the mini corn dogs and fries, which came out about 15 minutes before mine and my dads meal. The inside of the building is super nice so I expected the food to be great, but it's just not. My food sat in the window so long that the gravy on my mashed potato's congealed and putting your fork in it was enough to shift the whole slab of gravy. The pasta was lack luster, I got the Alfredo with the marinated chicken. The marinade tastes fine, but the way the chicken was cooked and cut made it like eating chicken flavored croutons. The pasta was in the window long enough the Alfredo kinda set and had the same consistency as tapioca, while the noodles were undercooked. When I asked my dad about his burger, he shook his head and said 'I can make any burger taste okay, that's what condiments are for'. Maybe this place needs more time to train, but the food was not worth it. read more
