This review is for Dr. Knapp's PAC, Cynthia Powell. As a new patient I was able to get an appointment in a week's time from my calling. The waiting room is clean, updated, and the staff were all very welcoming. I was taken back almost immediately after finishing my paperwork, and waited very briefly to see Dr. Powell in the exam room. She was very knowledgable, accommodating, a great listener, and open to all of my questions and concerns. I received my orders for blood work and follow up appointments within days, and she has called after each appointment with my results very quickly. Referred to Dr Knapp from 2 different people. Glad I changed. Excellent staff, robin, Claudia, Dee, everyone is great. On rare occasions, I see Cynthia Powell who is also superb. I really enjoy Dr Knapp's demeanor and emphasis on health. he's detailed, articulate, and I feel goes out of his way to make sure I am doing what I should be doing to be at my best. Claudia is excellent and very nice. robin is the best at making you feel like part of the family, and Dee is just stellar for follow up and authorizations. I sincerely feel if you don't have Dr. Knapp and his staff for your medical office...you are losing out. I am ecstatic to have found such great staff and such a great Dr. I won't be leaving and have referred many others. Not one single experience with this office has left a negative impact on me. Everyone has sincerely gone out of their way to help me, making me feel like part of the Dr Knapp family. Kudos to the staff for setting the bar. As for the negative experience of the person needing a prescription eventhough she wasn't a patient of Dr Knapp's...ummm, think about what you are asking a Dr to do? You want Dr Knapp to put his license on the table and give you a rx for a medication when you are no longer a patient of his. Try that anywhere and the answer will be the same, unless you go to some foreign country across the border. I have personally been a patient of Dr. Knapp's for over 25 years. Everyone in my family sees him, both my parents, my siblings, their children, my children and spouse.. I have referred everyone I can to this wonderful man! Let me say upfront that my mother and I both have a chronic illness and we are HIGH MAINTENANCE on a doctors office- I talk to these people no less than once a week. He listens when you talk, he doesn't just rush out the door to his next patient, he makes time for you when you need him. His nurse, Robin & Denora (front office) are angels! I have NEVER had a problem getting in to see Dr. Knapp when one of my family is ill (which is often), I have had appt's as early as 7am and as late as 7:30pm to fit my schedule. His office is fully computerized and any office staff can locate your records immediately if they need to. I have called the office at 9-11pm with an urgent problem and Dr. Knapp himself calls me back to resolve the issue- not just to tell me to go to the ER if I can't wait for an appt. I could go on and on.. my mother went to the office to pick up a prescription from Robin for me one day and they noticed something was a little 'off'..Denora had her wait to talk to Robin who then got Dr. Knapp- My mom was having a TIA (read: small stroke!) and if they hadn't seen it she would have gotten back in her car for god knows what to happen..all this and she was just there in passing for 2 minutes! Sometimes the wait for your appt. is a little longer than anticipated, but that's because he really takes care of his patients, doesn't just do the mandatory 5 minutes, check your BP and out the door with an RX. I have never been turned away for an appt. by his staff. If he's away (infrequent) then I immediately see Dr. Burris or Dr. Tangreti- I don't really care for Dr. Burris' bedside manner, but Tangreti is right up there with Knapp. You cannot find a better office to care for your family- I guarantee it! read more

I'm a new patient, so I'm not sure if I am being ignored because I have only been with this doctor since the beginning of 2012. I have been in this office about 3 times and have only met this doctor once. He is never available for appointments when needed; for example, I saw him in May and had blood work ordered but I was told to wait until December to get it done because he didn't have any appointments sooner than that! I am currently ill and had to go to an urgent care because he had no openings to see me soon. I was asked to leave a message and the nurse (or person answering their phones) told me IF it was urgent, he'd call back. He was also suppose to call and authorize a medication for me in May, it is now September and I went in for a refill and was told the doctor hadn't yet placed that call! It's been 4 months!! I kind of doubt the pharmacist would lie about it since they'd really like to sell me my medication. Yes he was friendly, but he was also 45 minutes behind for my appointment. Yes, he's soft spoken, but that isn't as important as being available to your patients. read more
