We got fried pickles for 4.00 which seemed like a decent price for an app. They gave us about 11 fried pickles which all together was maybe 1 full pickle. Very expensive when usually you get at least double that as an app at any restaurant. We had thought of getting food there but once we saw the portion. We chose to go to a restaurant for dinner.

While not "awful" it is definitely not what our family was looking for. This is mostly teens…read moreskating fast and unsupervised older middle school age. Some adults but not many. Our middle schoolers are younger and we would never leave them - only a few parents stayed with their middle school kids and there was nowhere for parents to sit, just the food tables where the teens left all their stuff and drinks and 2 places that were meant for people to sit down and adjust skates. Nobody was rude to us although the fast skating teens were a danger to my younger kids, and one did plough into one of my girls (he was very kind, apologized and got her ice). They frequently have "instructors only" skate for the older teens that I assumed would be doing the fast skating and tricks but most people just ignored what they said and there wasn't much special on those. We did like the games. My kids have asked me to find a skating rink more like what we are used to with Brentwood Skate Center where we used to go, more family oriented. If your kids are ok to be dropped off, they will probably have fun but mine are just too young at this point. If you have little kids/beginners they are not able to use the rolling teaching aids during friday night skate so plan on coming to a daytime skating session for that.
