I scheduled a birthday party and needless to say there was one issue after another. Manager quit so they couldn't find my deposit or have additional documentation showing my adult lanes that I ordered. They didn't have a copy of my signed contract or my deposit.. so I had to open a dispute with my credit card company.. lanes were supposed to open promptly at 3.. didn't begin until 330. Refills on small cups are not included normally but the young lady gave up some for the kids...pizza did t come out until after 4.. I had to ask for drinks for 10 kids who was crying they were thirsty.. The staff in the front was nice just young and clueless.. but they did try to help.. it was just a lot of back and forth with excuses. The kitchen staff was beyond rude. I asked where the pizza were located on the menu and his response was it's on there. I asked him if he could show me and he responded it's there you have to read... next I asked for pricing and he responded it's there.. nope it's not.. it says 6-10.. he responds that's the size.. ok how much is it.. with a huge attitude 13.99 for a large cheese plus $2 per additional topping.. ok can I order one plus 5 drinks.. needless to say he charged me for 2 pizza and 5 drinks.. I don't have the patience to argue so I just go about my business.. Bar tender didn't know how to make a Malibu and pineapple juice mixed drink and we were told to come back after 5 when the real bartender gets there.. Definitely will not be returning for a birthday party or recommend anyone book at the moment. They clearly have staffing shortages and need to train staff to cover additional duties. read more

The lanes destroyed my bowling ball during league bowling. They stated that they would give me a new ball since my ball couldn't be repaired. That was over a month ago. My ball is still in their office. They claim they are waiting on Phil who is the owner of the Pro shop to order and drill me a new ball. This is RIDICULOUS! read more

We met up with some friends for bowling on a Sunday afternoon. It was not crowded at all. They did a great job at spacing out groups to social distance. Masks were required when you were away from your lane. The staff were wearing masks and those that were serving food were wearing gloves. There was also someone that cleaned the bowling balls and area when we were finished. I ordered the soft pretzel and it was pretty tasty. It was very filling. Our friends ordered the charcuterie soft pretzel and they weren't very impressed. The cheese looked like it had been sitting out for a while. We had a great time. read more

Lanes are fine. Customer service is non existent. Every person you talk to stares at you as if you have 3 heads and acts annoyed you're asking them to do their job. Won't remake incorrectly made food because that's "how it supposed to look" when a dessert is completely melted upon receiving it. Would not recommend if you enjoy being talked to like a human being. Customer service is GARBAGE. They all just stare at you when you need assistance or they have to do their jobs. They make you feel like a nuisance for being there. When the crowd for cosmic bowling is too much they put your name on a list and tell you how long they estimate it will take to get your lane together. They then take your car and charge you immediately. They should bill you after they call you over the PA in case their estimate is way longer than what they thought. The male bar staff is rude. I haven't been to this place since I was at least 7 years old. My coworkers and I decided to stop in last night since we had a free pass. There are a ton of lanes so it doesn't feel crowded and a lot of things to do here besides just bowling. They have pool tables, a bar, arcade games and food! Mondays at 10:30pm is service industry night and that's when it's really fun! The screens come down, the lights turn off and the music starts! The place itself is great and I can't wait to make this a regular thing. The only thing that could improve is the customer service. The lady that checked us in and the lady at the food counter were so uninterested in talking to us I felt like we were bothering them by needing things. But the DJ and one of the bartenders were so nice and cool that they made up for them! read more

This bowling alley is as good as any. Actually, it's probably better than most. It has a full grill that can serve up some decent food, like tasty corn dogs. It also has a full bar with cheap beer. It also has a pool hall with five 8-foot tables. Pretty nice! They have cosmic bowling on weekends, which is pretty sweet if I do say so myself. They have bumpers for the kiddies too. They also have an updated scoring system that plays videos after your shot. I busted out laughing several times watching the videos. It was like watching Amercia's Funnest Home Videos with no sound. They were cool. The scoring system is cool, but it takes a minute to figure out which buttons to push (up and down) to enter your names. The best part is the flat panel TVs used for displaying videos and your score. Even better, right next to the score TV is a real TV playing sports, which guys love. Like all bowling alleys, this place is large and can accommodate a big group of friends who just want to have some drinks and chuck some heavy spheres at some oblong bottles at the end of a narrow, slippery wooden avenue. Oh, and get this. We treated everyone to two games of bowling, twelve people in all. We paid for their shoes too. Guess how much! Thirty bucks, lol! That was a steal. Think the guy behind the counter failed basic math. No complaints. read more

The bowling itself is fun. Cosmic bowling was set to good music and I had a fun evening. The lane was remodeled recently enough, but the place could be run so much better. I showed up at 9:15pm on a Friday night and there were about 15 customers standing in the lobby doing nothing. Cosmic bowling does not start till 9:30pm, but why a business would want potentially paying customers standing around not allowed to buy anything is mind boggling. If you don't want to turn on the lanes till 9:30pm that is fine but at least start processing payments so people can set up and get drinks and order food, etc... At 9:30pm a lady started accepting everyone's money - $15 for an hour for one person including shoes. You then proceeded to another employee who assigned lanes and handed out the shoes. By the time I left after 2 and a half games, the place was full. To start out there were only 5 separate groups however, but we were all placed on adjacent lanes. If you have 42 lanes, why would you bunch 5 parties up at lanes 1-5. Put them at 1, 3, 5, etc so everyone can be efficient about getting started since there is only one control device for every two lanes so only one party can enter names at one time. Nice enough place and I would go back if I wanted a lower key bowling experience than the new downtown places offer, but don't show up early. read more

Caught an early bird special on my day off, $9 for unlimited bowling for 2 hours, not a bad deal at all. It was clean inside, staff was helpful. Its also very kid friendly, kids 10 and under bowl in their own lane for free, just pay for shoes Typical bowling alley food, fries, chicken fingers, burgers wings, all cooked to death in grease, all sooooo tasty. their wing sauce is great actually. overall it was a great experience. read more

I'm pretty fond of freeway lanes, I live in parma and even though I'm closer to Yorktown, I'd rather take the extra 7 minute drive up Chevrolet and go to freeway lanes. Its a typical bowling alley. But its very clean. The staff make you feel like family when you go in. I usually bowl early with my family so that my son isn't too distracted. Planning on going cosmic bowling eventually, it's been so long since I have done that. They have food obviously, typical bowling food. But i can't complain about it at all. They even have some specials that I will eventually try, I'll also update my review when I'm able to try them all. read more

My boyfriend and I went on Saturday and enjoyed our experience there. The lady working the front counter was awesome and really informative. She was also very accommodating when our lane was overrun by unruly children who kept wandering into our lane. If just that, this place would have gotten five stars. My only quarrel was with the bartender, who apparently thinks it is okay to make racist remarks about other patrons to my boyfriend while he is getting drinks for us. That, to me, is unacceptable. Bar service gets 0/5. Bowling attendants get 5/5. read more

The party coordinator Vickie was so rude when discussing charges on my receipt different than what she had suggested and quoted.I tried to tolerate it cause I had already sent out invites but just could just couldnt any longer. Have been to this establishment on prior occasions, however, my experience today was unacceptable. Bowled two games with adults in my group but decided to change lanes so that could bowl with my daughter and the other kids. The lady running the desk told me that I couldn't bowl on a lane with the bumper guards because it was only for the kids. Despite the fact that both lanes on either side of me had both adults and children in the same lane using bumper guards. Because of this, my group declined to play anymore games. This employees attitude soured the family outing and lost current, as well as future, business for these lanes. I placed a review on their Facebook page about my experience and it was removed within hours. I am guessing they don't want honest opinions of their service. read more

I rarely review businesses, but our extended family spent a weekend in Cleveland. We bowled at Freeway Lanes of Parma on Sunday late morning. We thoroughly enjoyed these lanes as it was the cleanest, good bright lighting and most enjoyable bowling outing we have done in several years. I was not the only member of our group who voiced these comments, so I know they score 5 stars among our family members! We did not take advantage of food or anything else other than bowling....and the cost on Sunday mornings is fantastic! read more

The bowling alley is great, but the bar service is terrible! Expediency is a must at a bowling alley because, well because people are bowling. People usually take their turn and then run and grab a beer while the other bowlers bowl. The barmaid moved like a sloth on Ambien. She laughed when she could tell people were getting frustrated. She was hanging out with customers she knew, while other customers were standing around with their money out, looking at each other like "Is this for real?" Three people from our party each went to the bar and stood there for 10 minutes before returning with nothing just so we could keep bowling. Finally a manager of some sort showed up to help Myrtle the Turtle, and I expressed my displeasure at the awful service...Which I usually never do. read more

I was there on a cosmic night. The place looked like a joke from the moment I walked in but my family wanted to bowl so there for we stayed. It was $15.00 per person for the ones that bowled and they have a $10.00 cover charge if your not bowling!!! That is unheard of for a bowling ally to charge a cover charge. What do they charge a cover charge for? A play list of music!!! They say that they have a live DJ but they do not. I was told by the counter that they take requests but the are not sure when or if they will be played. I was also told that they don't have a lot of new music. The entire night was a joke!! I wish that we would have went somewhere else!! We had a group of 7 but only 3 bowled so we payed $85.00 for an hr and a half of bowling. I think that is high priced and there is no reason for a bowling ally to charge a cover charge!! We will never be going back here again !! read more
