Yes, it's bad design to have a window above the stove but I didn't design it and I do the best I can with it. One time I had another window washer tell me he could clean it. If they couldn't do it, they should have told me up front. Instead of simply doing what I wanted, they insisted on cleaning ALL of the windows in the house to "maintain their reputation." I agreed to it but that had them going into some private areas of the house when I had only been expecting workers in public areas. Don't get me wrong, they worked really hard all day long. They cleaned the screens and they sprayed down the garage door. They were here from 7am to 4pm. That was its own nightmare, of course, for my other family members were stressed out about having strangers in the house for so long. When I pointed out that I was disappointed that the window still looked bad, they tried to tell me how I could clean it myself. Ummm, that's why I hired supposed "professionals." When the generator quit working, I tried to find a service person recommended by the manufacturer. Left messages three places but never heard back. Called Pereira and they got Jeff himself on the line. Sent some pictures of the interior and he diagnosed an oil leak and walked me through how to fix it. Problem solved in under an hour, no expensive service call, the only expense was 2 quarts of oil. After two years, they don't really owe us anything, but clearly they care about their customers. I highly recommend this team, without reservation.
