It's a fairly small liquor store but convenient enough to get in and out of and they have all the staples you could possibly need. Their beer selection was surprisingly robust for such a small place! Sadly, I can never go back. I'm not sure if it was the young gent sporting all the metal studs and leather (doing his best Axle Rose or insert-80's-rocker here impression) or the older guy who I assume was a manager or owner, but one of the two of them absolutely REEKED of horrible B.O., I'm talking Seinfeld-episode level B.O., it almost brought tears to my eyes. I smelled it the second I walked in and past the counter, and at first I just assumed they forgot to take out the trash after throwing away rotten Indian food a month ago, but when I went back to complete my purchase, no, it was unmistakable, one them stunk to high heaven. I mentioned it to my friend when I got to his house and we cracked open some cold ones. He stated that he was well aware of what I was referring to, that the past couple of times he'd been in there one of the workers smelled like they'd run a marathon - last year - and never showered. He was convinced it was the older guy, but I'm not sure it wasn't Mr. Rock-n-Roll. In any case, in such a small/confined store like that, I can't risk another assault to my olfactory glands like that, so will be having to purchase my beers elsewhere. If anyone knows which of the workers there is allergic to basic hygiene, please do the world a favor and inform them that they really need to scrub up in the worst possible way.
