    Korean Nachos
    Danielle S.

I've been wanting to try Roll'N Deep for so long but could never get to their food truck, but I finally got to try them at the Roc the Taste fest and I'm so glad I did! I got the Mango boba tea and Korean Nachos. The nachos are fried wonton chips (amazing), pork bulgogi, pickled kimchi, and gochujang crema. I absolutely love friend wonton chips to begin with, and theirs are freshly fried and were perfectly crunchy and not too oily. The pork didn't have much bulgogi flavor, but the pickled kimchi and gochujang added such great flavor that I didn't mind. I got the half portion and it was still a ton of food! So good, I highly recommend them.

Still a strong little food truck with good eats. Obit sure dear reader if they still are open with the brick and mortar place but they had the truck out today at the 12 Corners Middle School for a fundraiser with other trucks. I got the Fresh Spring Rolls with two sauces mild and one with a kick always good and vegetarian. Than I got the Korean Nachos with Kimchi, Pork, Scallions and a sauce.. I'll add the photo. Friendly service and tasty eats. Give them a go!

    Chicken panang curry over rice

Had to check out this food truck since people on Yelp have been raving about them at Midtown eats. Just saw their food truck at University of Rochester so I had to order from them. I ordered their Korean nachos and my husband had their chicken panang curry over a bed of rice. I also ordered their milk bubble tea. The Korean nachos did not disappoint, quite innovative to use fried wonton wrappers as their base. Flavors were spot on though the fried wonton wrappers were a bit overdone. The chicken panang curry was ok, definitely had a kick and the rice on the bottom was slightly burnt. I did enjoy the milk bubble tea, flavored right but tapioca was a little too chewy for my standards. All and all, those are minor details and I would try their food truck again, especially the crab rangoon nachos that everyone is raving about.

Love food trucks! We were treated to Roll'N Deep by Brindle Haus brewery. It was a fabulous night! I had a bubble tea and the crab Rangoon nachos. They were very good. The only thing is my stomach and fried food don't always agree so I could only eat half. The tea was delicious! Next time I want to try the fresh spring rolls!

At midtown eats very good crab Rangoon nachos, siracha is a sweeter house made version. The chicken bulgogi isn't a Korean BBQ option like we expected. Nice folks, definitely give them a try.

Those Crab Rangoon nachos though Fresh, crispy fried wontons for the chips. Cheesy crab mixture. Sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. Fresh spicy jalapeños. I would not change a darn thing. This made for a delicious food truck find at ROC The Taste. I will definitely be back for more!

Visited their physical location at the public market. It shares the space with two other stores, next to Hettie's Delight. It was a brunch situation so I got the chicken pho and really enjoyed it. The broth was clean, like a consommé. I could taste the spices in it. It's much better than SEA's, IMO. I drank more than a few spoons and didn't feel thirsty afterwards.

Absolutely spectacular food and amazingly attentive service, definitely recommend and the crab rangoon wontons were fantastic

I got the Bulgolgi Nachos from the Roll'N Deep tent at the midtown eats event last night and I loved it. It was delicious! The two people at the tent were extremely nice and helpful when ordering. I would definitely recommend getting something from here!

This is my experience take it or leave it…read more We have been wanting to try Sendu for a while now so I decided to get some takeout as I was passing through Webster. I ordered online from the parking lot and went in pretty soon after ordering so I wasnt expecting the food to be ready. I waited in line behind another couple who were waiting to be seated. The place was very busy and it seemed to be a bit understaffed. It took a good 2-3 minutes for the couple to be greeted and eventually seated. I waited another 2+ minutes until the bartender finally greeted me from across the bar. I told them I had a pickup and that I would wait at the bar. I sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before I interrupted the bartender to ask if I could get a drink while I waited. $36 for a double whistlepig on the rocks. Wasn't expecting that. The decor was nice. It really seemed like a nice place and it was packed. The staff was doing g then best they could, but overwhelmed and understaffed. Another 10 mintues went by while I watched TV and waited for my food. As I was finishing my drink about 35 minutes after ordering, the food was ready. We got the egg rolls, which were really deep fried spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce but one of the better things we ordered. Seared Pepper tuna was the best thing we tried. Spice with the citrus flavor of the panzu. Seattle, Osaka, and Manhattan sushi tacos. Innovative yes, flavorful not so much. The white sauce (not sure what dish it was for) saved the tacos for me. Manhattan was the best out of the three, but still nothing special. The Beef Bulgogi spring rolls were almost vegetarian, minus the one thin strip of unmarinated beef. Peanut sauce tasted like peanut butter, no other spices or flavors like a peanut sauce should. I was not impressed. We also got the "Thai Shrimp and Tropical fruit Ceviche" it was missing the pineapple and there was no where near the citrus needed to make a real Ceviche. Meaning they cut up cooked shrimp and put it in a bland fruit salad. Another one that I was not impressed by. Finally mango sticky rice. This wasn't bad and I don't mind Jassberry rice, but if you are going to call it sticky rice, you should have more than a drizzle of sweetened coconut milk in the rice and it needs more than a 1/4 mango. Total came to just under $75 not including tip or the $36 bourbon. Too many really good Sushi, Thai, and Korean resturants to waste my time trying mediocre "fusion". I wouldn't rule out giving them another try, but it won't be anytime soon :(

First off, this is a clean and beautifully decorated restaurant. There's a sense of coziness and also modern. Upon stepping in, there's a nice variety of different decor which is pleasing to see. We started off with a couple appetizers. The spicy tuna crispy rice, and the fresh wraps (one with bulgogi steak and the other with fried crab). We can't say we were a fan of these, hence 4-stars vs 5-stars. We found the steak to be tough and did not have any flavour including a steak flavor which was odd. The fried crab is imitation crab stick, battered then deep fried. These ran $8 per fresh wrap which I find very steep. We didn't think they were tasty but presented nicely. The spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer was great. We loved the fried rice croquettes topped with spicy tuna and jalapeno. These were a delight. Now for the main reason we arrived, the sushi tacos. We ordered 6 out of a dozen or so choices, and we loved every single one of them. Each had its own unique flavour, and the bottom base of the taco is purple (black) rice which has its own stickiness and flavor which made them even more delicious. There were a couple tacos which included eel, but we weren't expecting them to be battered then fried. We would have preferred the unagi to be left alone. Nevertheless, these tacos are unique and 100% worth us making a visit to this restaurant. We ended with their Mango Sticky Rice, which we found the mango wasn't ripe enough, but passable. Overall, a great experience and 100% would visit to order more of their sushi tacos and would possibly try other dishes.

We're originally…read morefrom Southern California and are pretty picky about Thai food, but this place absolutely delivers. We always order the chicken pad thai, and it's consistently delicious--full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and exactly what we're craving every time. One thing we really appreciate is that they use fresh peppers to spice it up, which makes a huge difference and gives it that authentic, fresh heat we love. The service is just as great as the food. The young ladies who serve here are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. It's comforting to find a place that feels familiar and hits the mark on both food and service. Thai Bistro is a gem, and we're so glad to have it nearby. We'll definitely be regulars!

I have dined in and taken out from this location and the Brighton one, and the food is great. My go to is the garlic stir fry (almost all of their dishes come with a choice of protein) which has crispy garlic, mushrooms, a few different types of onions, and in my version, big tofu cubes in a garlic sauce. It comes with white rice. My husband and I ate there recently and he got the mango curry which he loved. We shared the veggie spring rolls and the Golden Triangle Puff. These were similar to a samosa - a fried pocket with vegetables inside, served with a dipping sauce (possibly vinegar/cucumber?). I will definitely get these again

I honestly thought if I went behind the bar right now not one person who worked here would notice. We were on vacation and sat at the bar. There was a manager doing computer work at the bar too. She did everything but tell us to leave. For 15 minutes, no one came over to us. Manager sees us many times, doesnt say let me get someone. Not a smile. Not a, here's a glass of water while I find the bar tender. Then when we did get someone it was clear that if we had questions they would be avoided like the plague. I asked a few times about the mayo--hate it. Id prefer to taste the fish. I was assured there wasnt mayo. It came drenched in mayo. $16 dollar roll that we didnt touch. However, the sushimi and nigiri was really fresh and rhe rice was perfect. Mackerel is one of my favorites and it was briney, bright, and sweet at the same time--excellent! But id never ever go here again. You can read my other reviews. I only dog on places when it's truly bad. My spouse was also a long time server (some at Uchiko) so we tip too much and bend over backwards to give servers our best attitudes. This felt very much like a manager/owner issue. Shame.
