I recently had a light issue and called Adam to come out and troubleshoot the issue. Adam was here for over an hour, found the issue and repaired it. He didn't charge me to do the repair. I tried to pay him but he refused to except payment (he did get a tip and a home made bag of Chex Holiday Mix). Adam is the most honest and dependable pool repair person I have found. Just had Adam with Roman Pool Repair replace my ancient pool filter, a bunch of spent valves, and install a pool heat pump. He was responsive, honest, did great work, and charged a very fair price. He came up with creative solutions necessitated by a 50-year old pool and house. He knows his stuff. He was willing to touch other's work (solar) and fix it. We had a waterfall pump go down, so I looked at Yelp for a pool repair person because the pump was made for swimming pools. Two people responded, including Adam. Adam asked for some photos, and quickly gave a quote. I wanted to be sure he understood it was an unusual situation, and the pump was located in a below ground pit. He said it shouldn't be a problem, but he agreed to come out the next day. After he came out, he said he could do it for the original quoted price, and we agreed to do the installation the following day. He showed up when he said he would, and the installation was quicker than he said it would be. The new pump was up and the waterfall was operating right away. Adam was great and very fast. We moved into a new home and the pool pump was not functioning. The previous pool person had been struggling for months trying to figure out the issue, and our kids were getting frustrated they couldn't go in. I called several people to come and diagnose it and everyone thought it was a major ~$10k+ expense that required buying a new pump and moving all our piping and pool equipment to lower elevation to get better suction.
