On the day they came to do the job, they raised the price by $600. We should have said no but we had already planned our day around the repair so we went ahead and had them replace the pipe anyway. THEN they told us they had to turn our water off to our sprinklers to glue a pipe on that line "as a favor" to us. Now our sprinklers are OFF and they won't come out and reconnect the water to them. This was after they told me they would come back the next day to turn them back on. My husband and I have both been trying to reach them - leaving text messages to the numbers they used to text us .... It's been three days .... No responses to any of our texts. We've tried turning them back on and they won't come on.... I'm wondering if they actually broke our sprinklers...

Never told me and the disposal chewed it up later. The second guy came by with the correct part but couldn't get the old part out. He gave up and said I needed a new faucet. He also mistakenly turned off the feed to the dishwasher and failed to turn it back on. We didn't catch that until we ran a full dishwasher cycle and found out the unit ran with no water! This may have consequences down the road! The third guy came out with a small spring which had nothing to do with the repair(?!!!)I guess he didn't get the memo! By that time I just wanted my faucet installed. He Promised to return the next day. He left and never came back. There were two more appointments to replace the faucet. Both times they didn't show up. No communication at all as to the missed appointments. Unprofessional service to say the least. These guys were assigned to me by my Home Warranty service. They refunded my money on this service, and apologized for the inconvenience, but I question how well they vet their contractors. I will avoid Honest Plumbers for any plumbing service.

This time I was smelling gas every time I ran the dryer and my laundry room and kitchen was filled with condensation. I called Zip and they could have come out the next day. They worked around my schedule and we got a date on the calendar with a 3 hour window. They were able to give me a call when they were headed to my house. That was helpful because I work about 15 minutes from my home. I was able to get home in time to meet the repairman. The rate is $139 for showing up, but that is applied to the work done. The repairs were professional and Jose explained the issue. There was a leak in the connection to the dryer. He fixed that issue and explained the condensation issue came from the dryer vent to our roof being clogged. He cleaned that out as well. I paid a total of $249. That was worth it to have everything safely connected and clear. They will work on all appliances. I highly recommend Zip.
