    My new car.

    When my current car started needing repairs that cost more than it was worth I knew it was time to look for a new car . After a lot of research I decided to go to Romeo Subaru . That was yesterday and I drove home with a beautiful 2025 Crosstrek. I absolutely love this car . Everybody was so amazing to deal with. Everyone took their time and explaining things to me and made the experience totally enjoyable one . I want to especially thank my salesman , Tyler O'Brien . He made it such a fun experience from the minute I walked in the door . Everyone from the general manager to the finance department they were professional and knowledgeable and made it just a wonderful experience . If you are looking for a new car do not hesitate to go to Romeo Subaru in Saratoga Springs . My car will never go anywhere else for service because I trust the service department as much as the sales department . Sincerely a happy new Subaru Crosstrek owner Gayle Balfoort.

    I never thought I'd say this about a car dealership, but my wife and I absolutely LOVED our entire experience here! We went to 6 different dealerships before this to test out which SUV we liked best, and we had so many terrible experiences. The other dealerships were either rude, pushy, didn't know anything about the cars they were trying sell, wouldn't answer our texts, or would straight up try to scam us. We had so much dealership anxiety leading up to our visit to Romano Subaru, but within 5 minutes of walking in, we were floored at how much better we felt from just being there. Right off the bat, the dealership was super clean, cozy, and felt like somewhere we could relax in (so many other places feel like museums or fancy libraries and are just so uncomfortable to wait in). Everyone we spoke to was SO nice, helpful, and genuine! We primarily worked with our sales guy, Joe Barry, who was honestly one of the kindest people we have ever met. He was super knowledgeable about the car we were looking at, didn't act pushy or try to upsell us on unnecessary features we weren't interested in, did great getting together all the paperwork, but most importantly, he made us feel comfortable and cared for. He is so kind, honest, and personable, and felt like someone we've known for years. Subaru Joe has become a household name for us now. He deserves a raise, a hug, and a sale every day for the rest of his career. We also worked with Nael, who handled our financial stuff, and was also extremely friendly and fun to talk to! He was so honest and supportive of us deciding to finance with our military bank when we found out they could give us a special, super low APR. It was such a breath of fresh air to not feel like we had to walk on pins and needles to avoid being shamed into scammy deals. That being said though, Subaru still offers amazing rates and if I hadn't been offered the special military rate from our bank, I would have happily gone with Subaru's financing program. Subaru also offers some amazing military discounts on other fronts though, so don't be afraid to ask if that applies to you! Honestly I never thought we'd be Subaru people, but we are absolutely in love with our new car and in love with this dealership... I think we are sold on being Subaru customers for life.

    I have really mixed feelings about this place. My sales experience was generally good. I felt like the rep I bought the car from was kind and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want. Not so much can be said for the sales rep that outright ignored my presence at another Subaru dealership I went to first. I custom ordered a Forester because there was no stock to be had and it arrived about a month earlier than promised, so no complaints there. Finance department...typical finance bros. Service department...friendly enough but they damaged my 6 month old car that didn't have a scratch on it when I dropped it off. Picked it up and whoever parked it had bumped the concrete base of a sign in the parking lot and scuffed my bumper. It's on the plastic part so it can't even be buffed out. The scuff matched up perfectly with the location on the concrete, it was 100% something they did and I noticed it immediately because the car was suspiciously close to the sign, but they denied it when I said something. Yeah it's small, but this is the first brand new car I have ever owned, I paid a lot for it, and I was hoping to keep it scratch free for at least a little longer. Nothing can be done about it now, I'm just a little miffed about it.

As anyone shopping for a pre-owned vehicle knows, you inspect everything and look for flaws. The problem was--we couldn't find any. Before we even arrived, Sam had installed four brand-new tires and completed both the front and rear brakes. The amazing part is that the vehicle didn't even need them immediately. He simply wanted to ensure that we wouldn't have to worry about those expenses down the road. Even after investing in those upgrades, he never increased the price. That level of honesty and commitment is almost unheard of in today's car market. Unlike many dealerships, Sam is never pushy. He gives you the time and space to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, take a test drive, and ask as many questions as you want. His knowledge of the vehicles he sells is impressive, and he is completely transparent throughout the entire process. My wife and I drove a total of 10 hours to purchase this vehicle, and without hesitation, we would do it all over again. In fact, when it's time for our next vehicle, this will be our first stop no matter how far away it is. The quality of the vehicle, the honesty, the professionalism, and the customer service were second to none. If you're looking for a dealership that truly stands behind what they sell and treats customers the right way, I cannot recommend Sam and his team highly enough. This was, without question, one of the best vehicle-buying experiences we've ever had.

You hear Volvo ads all the time promoting their 'upgradeable to 10 year VIP warranty' but I am here to tell you, it is only talk. Blahblahblah is all I got. My wife bought a loaded 2020 Volvo S60 AWD T6 Inscription, Polestar tuned car, in Jan of 2021. Certified with 3,500 miles off corporate lease, it had a five year VIP warranty. However, the warranty Expired Oct 15, 2024 as that was that was 5 years from the 'in service date;' yet neither Volvo nor the servicing dealer here in town Alan Byer Volvo, ever gave us notice of expiration nor an offer to renew, which we would have willingly done. Thinking about it running out soon, I reached out at the end of Oct. and was originally told OK. A week later I got a revised email saying: 'sorry, two weeks too late' to renew the warranty on her 24,000 mile car with no accidents, incidents or missed service appointments. Volvo corporate in turn referred me Back to Alan Byer. What nonsense. So now any interest we had in a 2025 or 2026 Recharge or XC upgrade has now become a Tesla, Audi or Lexus search. After owning maybe a dozen Volvos over my life, this will be our last. In researching this issue, I discovered Volvo is now owned by the Chinese Geely Holding Group. Shame what their fine name has become.

I Thought I had gotten everything out of the car. Wadie saved me as he retrieved my wife's sunglasses, which I forgotten, were up in the visor as well as my ez pass.
