When I expressed my concerns for this, I was assured it would probably be around ~$600-$800 for the alterations (they don't have an in house seamstress). I've now gotten multiple quotes for over $1,200 with the changes I need. I wish the Fab Frocks team was more knowledgeable about how much alterations actually might actually cost because now I am paying 60% of my dress price in alterations. Not to mention the "off the rack" dress is actually not discounted at all and I should've called another bridal shop to just order the dress in a size closer to mine. If you need a dress asap, this is your place! If not, you're better off finding somewhere that you can custom order.

I am so happy to see that Ann is still the owner. We made an appointment online, and on the day of our appointment Carol took care of us. I was able to bring 3 of my closest friends with me to my appointment, and there was seating provided for them while they waited to see the gowns. We were directed where to look for gowns my size, and were given so many wonderful options. Overall I tried on 6-7 dresses, and never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. The appointment lasts for 90 minutes total. Carol took care of us by listening to comments and observations, and then made suggestions and recommendations to try. I put my full trust in Carol, because thanks to her recommendations I found a dress that made me FEEL like a bride! I was there to try on different silhouettes, and while I did not say yes to the dress (yet), I believe they serve champagne once you purchase a gown. Their prices are very reasonable, and they will ask you for your budget so that they can direct you where to look on the racks and make realistic recommendations. If your budget is $5,000 or less, then this shop has the selection for you! I cannot wait to come back to check out their other options (mother-of-the bride gowns, especially), and take another look through their gorgeous gowns.

This place changed that!! A wedding dress should be able to be EXACTLY what you want, and Modern Trousseau made that happen. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and remained patient when I was constantly calling with questions and changes. I also love that the lace is true French lace and smooth silk. The quality is just fabulous. The prices can definitely get up there, especially with many customizations, but I truly believe you get what you pay for. Soooo comfortable. I fell head over heels in love with the dresses. This vast assortment of dresses were so absolutely beautiful while the staff led up by Marie Claire were so helpful in the fitting of our runway models, that even this broad started to daydream about frolicking around in a little ivory number. Designer Callie Tein customizes stunning gowns for what is supposed to be one of the most important days of your life. The boutique itself is whimsical and comfortable with a grand selection of gowns to choose from. Just heavenly. TIP: This is located in Downtown Nashville (near Puckett's) but parking is a snap with nearby parking garages. They will validate your parking!

I tried on countless dresses, my consultant Cain was just so patient and intuitive, and Cain gave amazing input that kept me from settling on a dress because it was cheap but I didn't love it. Ultimately, we found the perfect dress and I spent nearly an hour prancing around in it and Cain, Brianna, Blue, Bobbie, and Joy were so welcoming and sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we got the biggest bang for our buck and left feeling excited. Now of course, this place can't provide perfectly royal treatment like other bridal boutiques (it is a warehouse after all), but the employees do everything within their power to make you feel like royalty.
