Vendors are all pretty much the same (and it's hilarious some of the faces are familiar and seen at estate sale hunts) 3. Love how they attempt a theme and have added old school cars to the mix! 4. The vendors are not the nicest... they don't budge and are not willing to negotiate (I mean that's the fun of flea markets!) 5. Kind of pricey. Pretty much all antique and used items. A couple of vendors sell new but very "made in China" items 6. Products are often repeated aka the same 7. It's not huge... you could probably walk the entire thing in less than 30 minutes Would I come back? For summer break we decided to start the day here and find lunch close by. It was much larger and busier than it was in Winter. The great thing is free parking and free admission, the walk from parking to the fleamarket is very close. If you want to sell here the pricing per spot is low and you can pull in easily with your car. I believe each spot is $20 and this fleamarket happens the 2nd Saturday of every month. They do a good job of attracting vendors with that sell newer items in bulk, more classic garage style bring your old junk, plants, antiques, and some food trucks. The coolest thing we did was probably the train ride that goes through the fleamarket and car show. The car show area did smell like something peope like to smoke though :) It does get hot later in the day in Summer so best to come early. We ended up leaving with some nice snacks and old books for the kids.

Ron and Ranjita made the whole experience pleasant. We had an apt with RR and 13 of us showed up. (Only 9 of us needed clothes but the other 4 were there for support.) Having so many ppl in any shopping situation would have been overwhelming anywhere so I don't recommend that in general. But RR welcomed us into their homes and was able to show us many styles of both men's and women's clothing. They were patient in explaining the different types of clothes and materials. When we left 3+ hours later, they had taken great notes on what we wanted (colors, sizes, styles) and told us they'd order more items for us to come back to look and try on. Happy to report that when we went back, we had a full outfits for the family. My husband and son had custom made outfits (due to specific sizes needed) to match my beautiful saree which also coordinates with my daughters outfit. They had a blouse stitched for me with a beautiful keyhole design. In fact our experience was so good, we recommended RR to more family members. Including the pre wedding activities along with the wedding, I believe our family purchased about 20 complete outfits. We even found our jewelry and accessories there. So if you're looking to purchase some Indian clothing at a good price while working with some friendly and kind people, give Ron and Ranjita a call. You won't be disappointed! And before we went to RR boutique, we did visit other stores in the Bay Area (Fremont, Dublin, and Berkeley) Pricing at the other store was MUCH higher. Yesterday, I was happy to see they were open again, so I bought a purse for my young teen daughter, who loved most of the items in the shop, as did I. Everything they sell, apart from the paintings covering the walls, is hand crafted in Mexico, and they offer unusual, beautiful jewelry, purses, tote bags, clothing, and other items. (The colorful, compelling paintings are by the owner's mother and grandmother--pretty cool!) The boutique is tiny, wedged between the Sapore Messo Italian food store and the Salon Du Monde beauty salon on Niles Blvd. The young woman who owns the shop is very friendly, and you can truly find unique items for gifts, etc. I would have spent a lot longer checking out the items on offer, but my young sons were waiting outside and wanted to get home, so I had to cut our visit short. Incidentally, if you are worried about the virus, the employees when I shopped were wearing masks, and they had the door wide open to allow fresh air in. Since huge corporations like Target and Costco have been allowed to remain open this entire time, I am delighted that some smaller businesses in addition to restaurants are finally being allowed the same opportunity.
