I ordered bbq chicken pizza add Alfredo sauce and after getting home then realized the pizza was made incorrectly. Called and let them know and they took my name to come back and redeem another pizza at a later time. I call not even two weeks later and the my tell me I needed to come back the same week!!!! This would have been good information to have given me when the mistake was made. Not to mention most people don't eat pizza twice in the same week. Needless to say I called and they would no longer honor their mistake and had the nerve to offer 10% off my next pizza!!! Why would I spend my money there again!!! Smh. This was a very unassuming place stuck in a plaza, but let me tell you once you're inside it feels comfortable and inviting. The owner was so very friendly and humble. Not only is he a great cook, he's an even better human. The food was delicious and had me upset I couldn't find a way to bring home some to share with my family because I bragged about how great it was to them. If I lived in this area, it would easily be in my weekly stops. The bread is great, the pasta (Chicken Murphy) was superb, and the homemade strawberry cheesecake was a treat for my soul. Very disappointed in Roma's Italian Bistro and this used to be a great place to eat. New Ownership seems to be headed in the wrong direction. I ordered delivery several weeks ago and my food arrived cold and congealed. I called and explained how disappointed I was and whoever answered the phone was very gracious and at least listened to me. However than blamed it on the Uber driver. I decided to stop and try for a late lunch and ordered the Chicken Alfredo. The bead was good and warm but what used to be a nice dish of pasta was shrunken down in size and you had to hunt for pieces of chicken. This is it! I'm from Jersey where there is virtually no bad pizza spot. I've been looking for years for a place that comes close to pizza back in NJ. I finally found it! This is one of the best in Dallas imo. The crust is fresh not frozen, the sauce is flavorful, not too much cheese piled on, the crust holds up and has the right amount of holding strength. Yes, yes, and yes! I knew it by looking at the pictures online and knew it at the moment I took my first bite. That light airy crust along with the authentic flavors. 10/10. One of the aspects that truly stood out was the price. We got the 2 pizza and 10 wing combo and it was enough for my whole family at a great value for the money. The slices are LARGE. The staff was friendly and we had a good little conversation, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I like the atmosphere inside of the place even though I took takeout. It is a nice cozy spot with a nice little bar set up. If you're searching for an authentic NY style pizza that delivers on flavor, value, and freshness, this is it. This place has it all, from the perfect sauce and cheese to the crust. You won't find a better pizza spot in this area that truly represents pizza from the Northeast. read more

I've ordered from this restaurant often because I like NY Style pizza...HOWEVER I will not be ordering from here again. As I was eating, 2 strands of long dark hair were under my toppings. I called the restaurant to inform them and when I spoke with the owner he did not apologize or try to resolve the issue...instead his response was "no one that works here has long dark hair"...as if I was lying or as if it was my own. My hair is not the same color or texture of the hair I found and as I said before...it was UNDER the toppings...so if it were my hair how could it have gotten under the toppings? So long story short....the issue could have been fixed with, at the very least, an apology but instead they lost a pretty regular customer due to their lack of customer service and their VERY RUDE OWNER. read more

I wish I could give them 100 stars. I fell ill Friday the weekend of Valentines Day. I always do something special for my husband but this year I couldn't. I seen the Valentine's Day special for couples dining in and decided to call and see what arrangements I could make. The gentleman on the phone was understanding and stated he could make us a dinner for two to be picked up. The food was excellent. We Love Roma's of DeSoto!!! We have not been dining out much since the pandemic, but we were pleasantly surprised by the "newish" owners of one of our favorite local spots! Food was amazing (like a little Italian grandma was back there in that kitchen)! We both had the Rigatoni Special with side salad and everything was hot and fresh. Pasta was Al dente!!! My husband and I was in town for a competition. Stopped in for lunch. I had a Roma Salad with Grilled Chicken, and my husband had the Veil Parmesan. We also order mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The food came out in a very timely manner and was great. The mozzarella sticks were cooked perfect. Not too crunchy. My salad was super filling and I even took half back. My husband ate his entire meal. While speaking to the owner, he took over the business about 2 years ago and has been trying to bring the business back to life. Great pleasure to be at Roma's today for lunch with a friend. It has a new owner in the past year, and I had heard great things, wanted to see for myself~~ We ordered one Large Pizza Supreme, and it was Delish! It had massive amounts of Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Green & Red Peppers, Red Onions, Mushrooms, and Olives (we did not include the available hamburger) This pizza was HUGE, there were eight very large slices, with lots of cheese, and a very tasty crust. The owner was extremely personable and attentive. While waiting for our pizza, the owner brought us a complimentary serving of some fabulous rolls, we were definitely a fan of that. [ When we come back (And it will be soon,) I plan to order the Chicken Spaghetti, I saw such on another diner's plate as it was being served, and I am ready to try that dish.] Roma's menu is very large with reasonably priced dishes ~ This is definitely a hidden treasure for Desoto. read more

Also bread was served before the food. Lots of items to choose from. Small place but looked like they can accommodate a large party if needed. My friend suggested we meet here as she has been here several times. Got to speak to owner and she was really nice. She attended to us. Everything was great. No complaints. Very clean. This was the worst first experience ever. I ordered a Margherita pizza from this Desoto location and it was incorrect. After eating a few slices, we were trying to understand what was missing and it was the basil. So, the next step was to call this location and see what could be done. The employee, who says he's the owner, initially said there was nothing he could do, then said to send him a picture to a different number, where he offered a 10% off discount on the next purchase. That wasn't very accommodating, especially since they messed up the entire pizza. I called the location back the "owner" stated that since the pizza wasn't whole there was nothing he could do about it. He also mentioned if I came back to the location they would put the basil on the pizza (by that time the pizza would be past cold), it's over a 20 min drive from my destination. At this point the "owner" was not valuing the customer or customers first experience, and stated that the customer is only "sometimes right", but we all know that in customer service the customer is ALWAYS right. Now, I spent $30 on two pizzas. One that was a supposed to be a Margherita pizza, (the lady that serviced me stated it was her favorite pizza and recommended it) and the second was great. Now, I could've went to little Caesar's and spent a 2/3 less and got all my toppings, and outstanding customer service. If I could give this location zero stars I would. The "owner" doesn't value his customers, and I will not be back to this location, EVER. read more
