The service was extremely disappointing. I'm not sure whether it was related to race or not, but my family has never been treated this poorly at a restaurant. This review is directed at one specific server who chose to ignore our table for most of the evening. We repeatedly asked for refills and bread, first politely and then several more times, yet she acted as if we weren't there. When she finally returned, she slammed the cups down in front of my parents, which was disrespectful and completely unprofessional. If you don't want to be at work, that's your choice, but customers should not have to experience that frustration. A server's job is to make guests feel welcome and respected. I also noticed that many of the guests around us were offered refills, to-go drinks, and birthday desserts, while our requests were ignored. It was my family member's birthday, and even after asking multiple times about a birthday cake--offering to pay for it if necessary--I was completely ignored. As a Hispanic family, it was difficult not to notice the difference in how we were treated compared to others around us. Whether intentional or not, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and embarrassed. What should have been a special birthday celebration turned into a disappointing memory. I hope management sees this review and takes it seriously so that no other family has to experience the same treatment. read more

From the moment I stepped inside this building, the attention to service has been impeccable. I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in Dallas but nothing beats small neighborhood restaurants like Roma's. They know their neighbors, it's a welcoming place, the environment is friendly and family oriented and lastly the food is nothing but something you can only get at home. The bread that came with the order was not good at all-zero flavor (-10). Or, maybe my expectations were too high. The pasta was okay. We wanted to try some Italian food near Cedar Hill State Park and found this cute little bistro in Duncanville. The service was on point and when I asked to sample the Marsala sauce they brought me an entire bowl. It was fresh, beef flavored with lots of flavor. I ended up ordering the Veal Marsala and it was divine. My partner and I enjoyed our meal's equally. The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent and we will be back asap. First time here and it was ok. Service was good. Very small dining area. It can get really loud with everyone so close together. Bruschetta was ok. They use shredded mozzarella. Wish it was fresh instead. The chicken parm was good. Great flavor and a good amount of sauce. Chicken cacciatore was overcooked. The chicken was tough to cut in to and chew. The pizza was average. I ordered the "meat lovers" pizza with additional meat - at an up charge of two dollars per selection. Instead of coming as a complete meat lover pizza with all the meats listed on the menu, it only included the add-on choices. Worse than that however, is that through this app I paid a $4.55 tip for the driver. And that shows up on my receipt and on my credit card. However, when the driver delivered the pizza, the receipt on the box did not show the tip included and had handwritten - in bold letters - "no tip!!!" So I really have no way of knowing if the store paid the driver the tip or just pocketed that. I'm curious to know. See uploaded pictures of the receipts to illustrate my point. read more

Basic and simple, which is sometimes what you're looking for. Rigatoni Vodka Pasta 4.6 Stars : Vodka Sauce was hearty and tasty. Pasta cooked well. The only thing that didn't make this 5 stars is simply a personal preference, the sauce although very delicious, was too runny for my liking. Lamb Chops W/ Fettuccine Pasta 4 Stars : Fettuccine was bland unfortunately but what saved this dish was the perfectly seasoned lamb that was cooked to my liking. Vodka Sauce "Pink Sauce" 10 stars : get the vodka sauce! when asked for another bowl of this sauce, it didn't come back as runny and tasted extremely delicious! Service 5 Stars : Had a male that looked or seemed to be the manager. And if he wasn't the manager he seemed to care as if he was. Great service! It's Thursday night and no one wants to cook. This is a perfect spot for a family. My family and I enjoyed our pasta along with the cocktails. This is a kid friendly family restaurant. The prices are affordable, and the food is delicious. The customer service was professional and pleasant. Romas is very delicious. My favorites are the hot wings appetizer and the chicken Murphy! Overall they tend to cook the food on the blander side which causes even my most salt particular friends to even add more salt to the dishes. But in general some of the sauces make up for the lack of seasoning with other aromatic flavors. read more

I ordered the Bruschetta. slices of crusty bread with olive oil basil tomato mozzarella cheese tosted. what it got was 6 Pieces of crunchy bread and 2 small cups of cold Pico de gallo. no mozzarella no basil. sucked entre baked ziti with meat sauce. it sucked. maybe a table spoon of meat sauce small amount of mozzarella. baked too long. the edges of the pasta was crunchy. don't know how they did it it was very dry. my friend order the shrimp chicken sunrise. had 3 shrimp. it too had about a table spoon of sauce was dry and over baked. he also order the calamari and it was under cooked and soggy. the only thing that was eatible was the cannoli and it probably was not made here. don't waste your money read more
