Peeps. You know I'm a Brooklyn born pizza snob that hunts for places that come close to home. I'm a firm believer the difference in taste is in the water. Well Moni's challenges my opinion. In fact Dave is from Queens and he knows what he is doing!!! Add a little more crisp to the crust and I'm back on the block. It's a small place but if you like to grab-n-go like me it's a great spot with delicious pizza. Only thing it lacks is by the slice option. I got to watch my figure. I am woefully late in posting this review. We had a very large crowd for an 87th birthday party in August. Probably 30-40 people, we had reservations and they knew we were coming. They were ready for us. When I saw the size of the facility and their kitchen, my first thought was this is not gonna turn out well. I was WOWED with their service and food. The owner was involved in the control of our party, our orders, and serving our food. While we did not get our food all at the same time, when we did get it, it was hot and delicious. As each order came out, they found the person who ordered it. My pizza, meat lover, was one of the best I have had, and was too hot to eat initially to eat. My hat is off to the owner of Monis in Glenn Heights! Stellar job sir!!! read more

This is by far our favorite pizza spot. We lived a few miles away and visited often. We were never disappointed. We moved a hour away but make sure to detour by if we are close to Red Oak. The Alfredo pizza is delicious! read more

Oh Em Gee! This is what I mean when I say, "I have a taste for pizza!" Okay so let's break it down: Venue/Atmosphere: This cute little Italian spot is at the corner end of a plaza in Glenn Heights. The inside is absolutely adorable with the "exposed" brick decor. It's not too cluttered and the tables are already nicely set and it's nothing you expect when walking in. It's quiet enough to have a conversation, but not so quiet where you feel the need to whisper. I would dare to say that it's a nice little date place very causal! Service: The ladies were the absolute SWEETEST! I called in an order to take back to work and our small group decided to sit inside instead. Called them after I picked up the order and asked them to refund me for the baked ziti I was charged for and they never refunded my money to my credit card. Delicious food! Large portions. Speedy and polite service. Decorated nicely inside. The owners are from NY/NJ area. We ordered the appetizer sampler which came with fried mushrooms, calamari, and cheese sticks. It was ok. I ordered the aristocrat and my son had a small pepperoni pizza and cheese ravioli. Both were delicious! A basket of garlic rolls came out with dinner and they were yummy. We will be back! Let me tell you, the leftovers are even better the next day than the original dinner. Ordered Chicken Castollini. Turned out to be a soup dish with the over flowing white wine sauce. The chicken was like a rubber consistency and overcooked. And maybe because of the over bundance of sauce it tasted sour. This was my 1st visit. How you can get 4+ stars is beyond me. I have to over season with pepper to give edible flavor to this dish and grated cheese. My wife's dinner was not a whole lot better as her meal was almost soup like with sauce.
