The cream gravy was a little bit bland, but that's what hot sauce and pepper are for. The fries were on the skinny side, but fresh, perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and the Cole Slaw was tasty--that little nod to eating my vegetables. But, oh, the Texas toast, that carb bomb of margarine-laden white bread I love nearly as much as I love my mother! The restaurant, housed in an old railway Depot building is cool and creaky, and pleasantly full of weird vintage stuff like old bicycles and prosthetic legs, wonderfully pure Texas kitsch.
