We were less than 8 weeks from our wedding date, without a venue, with more than 150 Save the Dates sent out, and uncertain if we would even be able to have any kind of ceremony in the midst of a pandemic, let alone whether that ceremony would put our family and closest friends at risk. What Best Bride did for us in such a short amount of time was truly remarkable! While we had to significantly cut down our guest count Leora made sure that every possible Covid precaution was taken to keep our family and loved ones safe while still giving us a day more magical than we ever dreamed of. I We utilized the month-of planning agreement, which was perfect for our needs. Since our venue did not provide any services, we hired all of our own vendors. 3LB was essential in ensuring everyone was coordinated and in place on the wedding day. Additionally, because we used their rental equipment, their staff ensured everything was set up exactly according to our instructions. I want to specifically highlight our wedding day coordinator, Jennifer. She was terrific and served as a calming influence throughout the day, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. I cannot recommend Three Little Birds enough. To anyone considering their services: do yourself a favor and hire this team; you won't be disappointed.

We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

So we reached out to Emily with around 1-2 weeks before our target date. After we paid the initial fees ($250 for the ceremony + another $250 for the confidential wedding license), she set up a phone call to get to know us and helped with the details such as where it'd be, when, and if we wanted to say our own vows. My wife and I are pretty shy, so she just had us repeat the vows, which helped a lot with my anxiety. Emily was very friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

For example, during planning, we were dead set on having a "last hour" EDM set, with a curated mix with mashups, remixes, edits, etc., but James graciously communicated that it's difficult in a wedding environment, as it's more about keeping guests dancing and engaged than "performing", as a EDM DJ normally would at a show or club. This was something we really appreciated. He was an absolute ace during the wedding ceremony and reception. As MC, he kept our guests involved, made announcements with grace and charisma, and masterfuly navigated different guests' (drunk) personalities during a game. As DJ - he played our requests but also took positive creative liberties to keep people dancing, all of which we appreciated. Just wanted to sing praises for the amazing support Alexis provided for our wedding dinner at Bar…read moreChelou. My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning. The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide. Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Grace handled EVERYTHING, from venue coordination, food, drinks, logistics, rentals, linens, signage, party favors, website details, photography, videography, florals, hair and makeup and even helping secure approvals with the fire marshal for real candles and full drapery. The coordinators' involvement was largely limited to basic setup and following the timeline we created together. When issues arose during the wedding, there was a significant lack of communication and problem solving. For example, there were problems with the gate crash games, and the top layer of our wedding cake went missing. As newlyweds, we were not aware that the top layer of the cake is traditionally saved for the first anniversary. Since the coordinators presented themselves as professionals with experience in wedding traditions, we expected them to provide guidance on important customs like this and ensure meaningful details were not overlooked. Instead, no one informed us that the cake layer was missing or explained its significance, and we only found out afterward. Additionally, the coordinators presented themselves as knowledgeable and experienced in Chinese wedding traditions, which was one of the reasons we trusted them. I specifically wanted my family to be present and able to watch the gate crash games. However, everyone was ushered out, leaving me completely alone in the room when my husband arrived to pick me up. This was extremely disappointing, as sharing this tradition with my family was an important part of the experience. The gate crash games also did not go as intended. While my bridesmaids were responsible for carrying out the games, the coordinators should have stepped in when they noticed things were not following the intended format. Given their claimed expertise in Chinese wedding traditions, they should have been able to recognize when the games were not being conducted properly and provide guidance or correction. During the traditional tea ceremony, the positioning was also handled incredibly poorly. We were placed by the photographer in a way that left our backs completely facing the groom's side of the family, meaning his relatives couldn't see a single thing. This is exactly the kind of situation where the coordinator should have spoken up and adjusted the layout, but instead, they stood by and let a deeply meaningful moment be ruined for half of our guests. During speeches, I made it clear everyone was to stand at their seats when giving speeches. Jeannie told one person to stay at her seat but allowed the other two to come onto the stage. Totally not consistent at all! Made that one person look bad for staying at her seat whereas the others went on stage to give their speech. That person at the seat was more important to me than the other two giving speeches! Yet they were not told to stay at their seats and allowed on stage! We also received multiple complaints from our guests regarding the entertainment: * DJ: The music was poorly managed. Every time I left the room for an outfit change, the music stopped completely, which disrupted the flow and atmosphere of the reception. * MC: While the MC was friendly, they did not help create energy or engagement among our guests. We had specifically requested that important announcements and activities be translated into Chinese for our elderly guests. Instead, the reception games were conducted entirely in English. As a result, many of our older guests did not understand what was happening and were unable to participate, leaving only the younger guests involved. Overall, we were extremely disappointed by the lack of communication, oversight, coordination, and cultural consideration. We expected a much higher level of attention to detail, guidance, and support throughout the event.

David came to us as a referral from our florist, Annie, from Little Blue Hummingbird. David had monthly check-ins leading up to the month before our wedding which became weekly check ins. For the day of our wedding we thought he would only have 1 or 2 assistants but showed up with a whole team with radios and microphones. David built our whole lighting set up, arranged the entire setup of our reception, handled particular relatives, bussed tables, provided water service, cutting and serving our cake and did the tidying and tear down after the party was over! David was fully available to us at all times and was on top of all our vendors. He definitely created a seamless magical day for us. David is an award winning coordinator and we definitely can see why. We were able to enjoy our day and all of our family could not stop complementing the care David gave us on our day. We could do smaller cake and dessert table or do one whole cake. We opted for the whole cake, but looking back, the dessert table could have provided more variety. The team catered to our preferences to the tee! We got many compliments from our guests about how delicious the cake was! FYI additional design and flowers are extra charge. Our floral arrangements were done by Little Blue Hummingbird and they were also so accommodating to my preferences. Annie was super nice and she even added extra flowers at no charge!
